| 1Ottakkua mallie Jumalašta, olettahan työ Hänen armahie lapšie. | 1Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children. |
| 2Eläkkyä toini toista tykäten, niin kuin Hristossa niise tykkyäy meitä. Miän tähen Hiän anto Iččeh lahjakši ta hyvänhajusekši uhriksi Jumalalla. | 2Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance. |
| 3Ka huoruinnašta, kaikešta pakanašta ta ahnehuošta ei tiän joukošša šua olla ni pakinua. Mikänä šemmoni ei paššua pyhillä. | 3But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints; |
| 4Tiän ei šua olla pahašuisie, tyhjänpakasijie eikä kakšimielisie, vain tiän pitäy kiittyä Jumalua. | 4nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate, but rather giving of thanks. |

| 7Niin jotta elkäh teilä olkah mitänä yhtehistä šemmosien kera. | 7Therefore don’t be partakers with them. |
| 8Ennein työ niise olija yhtä pimietä, a nyt Hospotin yhteyveššä elyässä työ oletta täyvet valuo. Ka niin eläkkyä valon lapšina, | 8For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, |
| 9šentäh kun Pyhä Henki kašvattau kaikkie šemmoista, mi on hyvyä, oikieta ta totta. | 9for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth, |
| 10Tiijuštakkua, mitä Jumala tahtou. | 10proving what is well pleasing to the Lord. |
| 11Elkyä yhtykkyä pimien tyhjih hommih, niistä ei ole šualista. Päivänvaloh tiän pitäy šemmoset hommat vetyä. | 11Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them. |
| 12Huikie on paissaki, mitä jumalattomat ihmiset peitočči ruatah. | 12For it is a shame even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. |
| 13Ka kaikki še tulou näkyvih, konša joutuu valoh. Ta kaikki, mi on tullun näkyvih, on valuo. | 13But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light. |
| 14Šentäh šanotahki näin: – Havaččauvu, šie makuaja, ta nouše kuollehista, niin šuat valon Hristossalta! | 14Therefore he says, “Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” |
| 15Niin jotta kaččokkua tarkkaseh, mitein elättä. Elkyä eläkkyä järettömien tapah, eläkkyä niin kuin viisahat. | 15Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, |
| 16Käyttäkkyä kaikki aika hyväh, šentäh kun nämä päivät ollah pahat. | 16redeeming the time, because the days are evil. |
| 17Elkyä olkua tolkuttomie, vain tiijuštakkua, mi on Hospotin tahto. | 17Therefore don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. |
| 18Elkyä juokua viinua humalah šuate, še kun vetäy šiivottomah elämäh, vain antakkua Pyhän Henken täyttyä iččenä. | 18Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, |
| 19Laulakkua yheššä psalmija, kiitošviršie ta henkellisie lauluja, laulakkua ta šoittakkua täyveštä šytämeštä Hospotilla. | 19speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; |
| 20Kiittäkkyä aina ta kaikešta Jumalua, Tuattuo, miän Hospotin Iisussan Hristossan nimeššä. | 20giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to God, even the Father; |
| 21Totelkua toini toista Jumalua varaten. | 21subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ. |
| 22Naiset, totelkua omua mieštä niin kuin Hospotie, | 22Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. |
| 23šentäh kun mieš on naisen piä, niin kuin Hristossa on uškojakunnan piä. Onhan Hristossa pelaštan uškojakunnan, kumpani on Hänen runko. | 23For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. |
| 24Niin kuin uškojakunta taipuu Hristossan tahtoh, šamoin ni naisien pitäy kaikešša taipuo oman miehen tahtoh. | 24But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. |
| 25Miehet, tykäkkyä omua naista, niin kuin Hristossa tykkäsi uškojakuntua ta anto oman henken šen puolešta | 25Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; |
| 26pyhittyäkšeh šen. Hiän pesi uškojakunnan puhtahakši vejellä ta šanalla. | 26that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, |
| 27Hiän tahto ašettua šen Iččeh eteh jumalallisen valon täyttämänä, pyhänä ta vijattomana, ilmain likalättie, vikua tahi mitänä muuta šemmoista. | 27that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without defect. |
| 28Šamoin pitäy miehenki tykätä naistah niin kuin omua runkuo. Ken tykkyäy naistah, še tykkyäy iččieh. | 28Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. |
| 29Eihän kenkänä vihua runkuoh, vain jokahini šyöttäy šitä ta huolehtiu šiitä. Juštih šamoin Hospoti pitäy huolen omašta uškojakunnašta. | 29For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; |
| 30Še on Hänen runko, ta myö olemma šen runkon ošie, Hänen lihua ta luita. | 30because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones. |
| 31«Šentäh mieš jättäy tuattoh ta muamoh ta liittyy omah naiseh, niin jotta näistä kahešta tulou yksi liha». | 31“For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh.” |
| 32Tämä on šuuri peittoas's'a, mie pakajan nyt Hristossašta ta uškojakunnašta. | 32This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly. |
| 33Nämä šanat ollah niise teitä varoin: jokahini teistä tykäkkäh omua naistah niin kuin iččieh, ta naisen pitäy kunnivoittua mieštäh. | 33Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband. |
