Chapter 2

Chapter 2

Tahtoin, miše tedaižit, kut minä lömoi teiden täht, Laodikias da Ierapoliš eläjiden täht da kaikiden toižiden täht, ked nikonz ei nähnugoi-ki mindai.1For I desire to have you know how greatly I struggle for you, and for those at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;
Tahtoižin, miše armastuz ühtenzoitaiži heiden südäimed i hö saižiba rohktust da ühtes senke sur't da süväd el'gendust. Siloi hö tedištaba Jumalan, Tatan i Hristosan peitusen, hänen,2that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and gaining all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,
kenes oma kaik melevuden da tedon peittud kal'hused.3in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden.
Sanun necen sikš, miše ken-ni ei manitaiži teid libedkeližil paginoil.4Now I say this that no one may delude you with persuasiveness of speech.
Hot' minä hibjal en ole teiden keskes, no hengel olen teidenke, ka nägen i ihastun, mitte hüvä kožmuz om teiden keskes da mitte vahv om teiden uskond Hristosaha.
For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in the spirit, rejoicing and seeing your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.
I sikš, ku olet otnuded südäimehe Hristosan Iisusan, Ižandan, muga elägat-ki hänes.6As therefore you received Christ Jesus, the Lord, walk in him,
Jurdugat hänehe, saugat ičetoi elo hänen alandusile i kazgat vahvoikš uskondas, kut teid om opetud, sikš elägaha teiden südäimiš äi kitändad.7rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, even as you were taught, abounding in it in thanksgiving.
Kackat, miše niken ei tabadaiži teid ičeze filosofial da tühjil manitusil, kudambad pohjištuba mehiden opendusihe da necen mirun vägihe, a ei Hristosaha.8Be careful that you don’t let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ.
Hristosas täudel märal eläb jumaluz hibjaližes formas,9For in him all the fullness of the Deity dwells bodily,
a tö elät täudel märal hänes. Hän om kaikiden valdoiden da vägiden pä.10and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power.
Hänehe teid ühtištab ümbrileiktuz, kudamb ei ole tehtud mehen käzil. Teil om Hristosan ümbrileiktuz, kudambas grähkhine taba om ruštud.11In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ,
Konz teid valatadihe, teid ühtes hänenke pandihe maha i ühtes hänenke eläbzoittihe kollijoišpäi, ku uskoit Jumalan vägehe, hänen, kudamb eläbzoiti Hristosan kollijoišpäi.12having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.
Tö olit kolnuded ičetoi grähkiden tagut i ümbrileikmatomuden tagut, no Jumal tegi teid eläbikš ühtes Hristosanke. Hän pästi meile kaik grähkäd.13You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,
Hän pühki velglugetišen da sen käsköd, kudambad väritiba meid, da tegi sen tühjaks nagloičendal ristha.14wiping out the handwriting in ordinances which was against us. He has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross.
Hän tegi vägetomikš valdad da väged i huigenzoiti niid kaikiden edes, ku tegi Hristosan heiden vägestajaks.15Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Ka algha niken teid sudigoi sömän da joman tagut, pühiden praznikoiden tagut, uden kun päivän da lebupäividen tagut.16Let no one therefore judge you in eating, or in drinking, or with respect to a feast day or a new moon or a Sabbath day,
Ved' kaik om vaiše sen kuvahaine, mi om tulmas, a todesine om Hristosas.17which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is Christ’s.
Algha teid manitagoi se, ken navedib alenzoitta ičtaze, kumardelese angeloile i süveneb sihe, midä ei nägend. Nene tühjad meletused tegeba händast nenanlendajaks,18Let no one rob you of your prize by self-abasement and worshiping of the angels, dwelling in the things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
no hänel ei ole nimittušt ühtenzoitust Hristosaha, pähä, kudamb holdub kaikes hibjas i pidäb sidä nivelehiden da soniden abul kogos, i se hibj kazvab, kut tahtoib Jumal.
and not holding firmly to the Head, from whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and ligaments, grows with God’s growth.
Tö olet ühtes Hristosanke kolnuded da päznuded necen mirun vägiden käzišpäi. Ka mikš völ-ki elät kuti necen mirun valdan al i kundlet mugoižid käsköid kut20If you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to ordinances,
«ala tartu», «ala muja», «ala koske»?21“Don’t handle, nor taste, nor touch”
Ved' nene käsköd oma sömän kel'dändan polhe, sen polhe, mi kadob suhu panendan jäl'ghe. Nene om vaiše rahvahan käsköd da opendused.22(all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men?
Ned ozutasoiš melekahikš iče tehtud jumalahižuden tagut, ičtaze alenzoitandan da hibjan mokičendan tagut, no neniš käsköiš ei ole nimittušt arvod. Ned vedäba vaiše hibjan himoiden holihe.23These things indeed appear like wisdom in self-imposed worship, humility, and severity to the body; but aren’t of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.
