Chapter 1

Minä, Pavel, Jumalan tahton mödhe Iisusan Hristosan apostol, i Timofei-vel'l'1Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
oigendam tervhutesid Jumalan rahvahale, Hristosaha Iisusaha uskojile vellile Kolossaha.2to the saints and faithful brothers in Christ at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Armoid da mirud teile Jumalas, meiden Tataspäi, da Ižandas Iisusas Hristosaspäi.
Kaiken, konz loičem teiden poles, mö kitäm Jumalad i meiden Ižandan Iisusan Hristosan Tatad.
We give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
Mö olem kulnuded teiden uskondas Hristosaha Iisusaha i armastuses kaikihe jumalanuskojihe.4having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love which you have toward all the saints,
Uskond i armastuz om teil, ku tö nadeitoiš sihe, mi varastab teid taivhiš. Necen polhe tö kulit jo siloi, konz teile saneltihe toden sanad, hüväd vestid,5because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the Good News
kudamb tuli teidennoks. Mugažo kut kaikjal-ki mirus, nece sana om tonu satusid teile-ki i kaznu siš päiväspäi lähttes, konz tö kulištit sen da tedištit Jumalan armoid ani mugoižin, miččed ned todeks oma.6which has come to you, even as it is in all the world and is bearing fruit and growing, as it does in you also, since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth,
Epafras, kenes tö olet kulnuded, om meiden armaz radvel'l' da uskoline Hristosan käskabunik teile.7even as you learned of Epaphras our beloved fellow servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on your behalf,
Hän om starinoičenu meile mugažo siš armastuses, mittušt Heng om teiš sündutanu.
who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.
Sikš, siš päiväspäi, konz kulištim kaikes neciš, mö-ki kaiken aigan loičem teiden poles da pakičem, miše tö saižit täudel märal hengelišt melevut da el'gendust, i miše tö tedištaižit lophusai Jumalan tahton.9For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don’t cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
Mö loičem, miše tö eläižit kut pidab eläda Ižandan uskojile, kaikes hänen melen mödhe, toižit satusid kaikuččel hüväl radol i kazvaižit Jumalan tundemižes.10that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God,
Vahvištagha teid hänen korktan arvon vägi muga, miše tirpaižit da mänižit hüväs meles kaikes läbi.11strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy,
Kitkat Jumalad, Tatad, kudamb om kucnu meid samha palan siš, midä hän om toivotanu antta jumalanuskojile päivänvauktan valdkundas.12giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light,
Hän om päzutanu meid pimedusen valdaspäi i sirdnu ičeze armhan Poigan valdkundaha.13who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love,
Poigan tagut, hänen veren kal't, mö päzum valdale — meile pästtas meiden grähkäd.14in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins.
Poig om nägumatoman Jumalan nägui kuva, ezmäine, ken om sündnu edel kaiked tehtud mirud.15He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
Hänen kal't om kaik tehtud, midä om taivhiš da mal, nägui dai nägumatoi, valdištmed da ižandused, kaik valdad da väged — kaik om tehtud hänen kal't da hänen täht.16For by him all things were created in the heavens and on the earth, visible things and invisible things, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things have been created through him and for him.
Poig om olnu edel kaikid toižid, i hän pidäb kaiken kogos.17He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.
Hän om hibjan pä, a hänen hibj om uskondkund. Hän om augotiž, hän ezmäižen eläbzui kollijoišpäi, miše kaikes oliži ezmäine.18He is the head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Jumal kacui hüväks, miše hänen täuz' jumaluz oliži Poigas,19For all the fullness was pleased to dwell in him,
miše hänen kal't tehta kožmusen, hänen ristan verel vahvištoitta necen kožmusen kaikenke, midä om mal da taivhiš.20and through him to reconcile all things to himself by him, whether things on the earth or things in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross.
Tö-ki olit ende verhad da vihameližed Jumalale teiden pahoiden tegoiden tagut.21You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil deeds,
A nügüd' Hristosan hibjan kal't da hänen surman kal't Jumal om tehnu kožmusen teidenke, miše seižutada teid pühin, puhthin da vigatomin ičeze edehe.22yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without defect and blameless before him,
Teile vaiše pidab seišta vahvas uskondan alandusil, ei likahtuda siš nadejaspäi, mitte om sündnu teiš, konz tö kulištit hüvän vestin. Nece hüvä vest' om saneltud kaikile taivhan al eläjile, a minä, Pavel, olen tehnus sen käskabunikaks.
if it is so that you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the Good News which you heard, which is being proclaimed in all creation under heaven, of which I, Paul, was made a servant.
Nügüd' olen hüviš meliš, miše tirpan gor'ad teiden täht. Midä Hristosan ahtištusiš völ ei täudu, sidä minä ližadan ičein hibjas hänen hibjan hüvüdeks. Hänen hibj om uskondkund.24Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and fill up on my part that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the assembly,
Minä olen tehnus sen radnikaks, ku Jumal ičeze tahtoiden mödhe andoi minei radoks lophusai sanelda teile hänen sana,25of which I was made a servant according to the stewardship of God which was given me toward you to fulfill the word of God,
nene peitmeled, kudambad oliba peitos aigoiden augotišespäi, sugupol'vespäi sugupol'vehesai, i kudambad Jumal om nügüd' avaidanu ičeze uskojile.26the mystery which has been hidden for ages and generations. But now it has been revealed to his saints,
Hän om tahtoinu antta heile tedoks, mitte sur'kulu om se peitmel', kudamb avaidaškatas Jumalad tundmatomile rahvahile: Hristos eläb teiš, i sikš tö voit nadeidas hänen korktaha arvoho.27to whom God was pleased to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Hänen polhe mö sanelem, mö nevom da opendam kaikuttušt kaikel melevudel, miše seižutada joga mez' Jumalan edehe täuz'igäižen Hristosas Iisusas.28We proclaim him, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus;
Sen täht minä tegen-ki jügedoid radoid da lömoi kaikel hänen vägel, kudamb om vahv minus.29for which I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.
