Chapter 17

Chapter 17

Iisus sanui openikoile:«Manitusile tarbiž tulda, ei voi toižin olda, no voi sidä, kenen kal't ned tuleba!1He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no occasions of stumbling should come, but woe to him through whom they come!
Paremb oliži hänele, miše ken-ni lükäidaiži händast merhe mellickivi kaglas, mi hän veb grähkähä ühten-ki neniš penišpäi.2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.
Kackat ičhetoi! Ku sinun vel'l' tegeb pahad sindai vaste, ka laji händast, a ku žalleičeb, miše om tehnu muga, ka prosti händast.3 Be careful. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him.
Hot' hän seičeme kerdad päiväs tegeb pahad sindai vaste i seičeme kerdad tuleb sanumaha: ‘Minä žalleičen, miše olen tehnu muga’, ka prosti händast.»4 If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”
Apostolad sanuiba Ižandale: «Anda meile enamba uskondad!»5The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”
No Ižand sanui:«Ku teil oliži uskondad vaiše gorčicansemnen verdan, ka tö voižit sanuda necile smokvanpule: ‘Heitä jured maspäi i ištuta ičtaiž merhe,’ i se kundliži teid.»
The Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you would tell this sycamore tree, ‘Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
«Ku teil om käskabunik kündmas vai paimendamas i konz hän pördase pöudolpäi, tö et sanugoi hänele: ‘Tule teramba sömha.’7 But who is there among you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say when he comes in from the field, ‘Come immediately and sit down at the table,’
Ei, tö sanut: ‘Tege minei sömäd, vajehta sobad i andle minei kaik, kuni minä sön i jon. Vaiše jäl'ges necidä sö i jo iče.’8 and will not rather tell him, ‘Prepare my supper, clothe yourself properly, and serve me, while I eat and drink. Afterward you shall eat and drink’?
Kitäškandet-ik tö käskabunikad sikš, miše hän tegi sen, mi hänele oli käsktud? Tedan, et kitkoi.9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded? I think not.
Muga tö-ki, konz olet tehnuded kaiken, midä teile oli käsktud tehta, sanugat: ‘Mö olem vaiše arvotomad käskabunikad. Olem tehnuded sen, midä meile pidi-ki tehta’.»
Even so you also, when you have done all the things that are commanded you, say, ‘We are unworthy servants. We have done our duty.’ ”
Matkas Jerusalimha Iisus astui Samarian i Galilejan keskustmežadme.11As he was on his way to Jerusalem, he was passing along the borders of Samaria and Galilee.
Konz hän tuli erasehe külähä, hänele vastha tuli kümne prokazas läžujad. Hö seižutihe edehko12As he entered into a certain village, ten men who were lepers met him, who stood at a distance.
i kidastaškanziba: «Iisus, opendai, armahta meid!»13They lifted up their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
Mehid nägištades Iisus sanui heile: «Mängat i ozutagatoiš papile.» Asttes hö puhtastihe.14When he saw them, he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” As they went, they were cleansed.
Konz üks' heišpäi homaiči, miše tegihe tervheks, hän pördihe tagaze i ülenzoiti Jumalad komedal änel.15One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice.
Hän lanksi Iisusan jaugoihe i kiti händast. Nece mez' oli samarialaine.16He fell on his face at Jesus’ feet, giving him thanks; and he was a Samaritan.
Iisus küzui: «Ei-ik kaik kümne olgoi puhtastanus? Kus nene ühesa oma?17Jesus answered, “Weren’t the ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
Mikš hö toižed ei pördnus ülenzoitmaha Jumalad, pördihe vaiše nece verhan man mez'?»18 Were there none found who returned to give glory to God, except this foreigner?”
I hän sanui mehele: «Libu i mäne. Sinun uskond tegi sindai tervheks.»
Then he said to him, “Get up, and go your way. Your faith has healed you.”
Kerdan farisejad küzuiba Iisusal, konz Jumalan valdkund tuleb. Hän sanui heile: «Jumalan valdkund ei tule muga, miše sen tulendan voiži nägištada.20Being asked by the Pharisees when God’s Kingdom would come, he answered them, “God’s Kingdom doesn’t come with observation;
Ei voi sanuda: ‘Se om tägä,’ vai ‘Se om sigä.’ Kackat: Jumalan valdkund om teiden südäimiš.»
neither will they say, ‘Look, here!’ or, ‘Look, there!’ for behold, God’s Kingdom is within you.”
Iisus sanui openikoile: «Tuleb aig, konz tö tahtoškandet nägištada hot' ühten päivän, konz Mehen Poig om tägä, no tö et nägištagoi.22He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.
Teile sanutas siloi: ‘Hän om sigä,’ i ‘Hän om tägä,’ no algat mängoi nikuna, algat jokskoi jäl'ghe.23 They will tell you, ‘Look, here!’ or ‘Look, there!’ Don’t go away or follow after them,
Kut samalduz samaldab i tegeb taivhan vauktaks agjaspäi agjahasai, sen vuitte linneb i Mehen Poig sil päiväl, konz tuleb.24 for as the lightning, when it flashes out of one part under the sky, shines to another part under the sky; so will the Son of Man be in his day.
No edel sidä hänele tarbiž äi mokitas, i nügüdläine sugupol'v käraudase hänespäi.25 But first, he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
Muga kut oli Nojan päivil, muga linneb Mehen Poigan päivil-ki.26 As it was in the days of Noah, even so will it be also in the days of the Son of Man.
Mehed söiba i joiba, naiba i andliba mehele ičeze tütrid sihe päivhäsai, konz Noi mäni surhe veneheze. Sid' tuli sur' upotand i koleti heid kaikid.27 They ate, they drank, they married, and they were given in marriage until the day that Noah entered into the ship, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
Linneb muga, kut oli Lotan päivil-ki. Mehed söiba i joiba, ostiba i möiba, ištutiba i sauvoiba.28 Likewise, even as it was in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
No sen päivän, konz Lot läksi Sodomaspäi, taivhaspäi vihmuškanzi lämoil i palabil kivil, i nece koleti kaikid Sodoman eläjid.29 but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and sulfur from the sky and destroyed them all.
Muga linneb i sen päivän, konz Mehen Poig ozutase.30 It will be the same way in the day that the Son of Man is revealed.
Ku sen päivän ken-ni om katusel, a hänen tavarad oma pertin südäimes, ka algha hän mängoi alahaks otmaha niid, a ku ken-se om pöudos, ka algha pörtkoiš kodihe.31 In that day, he who will be on the housetop and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away. Let him who is in the field likewise not turn back.
Muštkat Lotan akad!32 Remember Lot’s wife!
Ken tahtoškandeb kaita ičeze henged, ka kadotab sen, no ken sen kadotab, ka hän kaičeb sidä.33 Whoever seeks to save his life loses it, but whoever loses his life preserves it.
Minä sanun teile: Sil öl kahten magadaškandeba ühtel magaduzsijal: toine ottas, toine jättas.34 I tell you, in that night there will be two people in one bed. One will be taken and the other will be left.
Kaks' akad ühtes jauhoškandeba: toine ottas, toine jättas.35 There will be two grinding grain together. One will be taken and the other will be left.”
Kaks' mužikad linneba pöudol: toine ottas, toine jättas.»36 []
«Kus nece linneb, Ižand?» — küzuiba openikad. Hän sanui: «Kuna om živat kolnu, sinna kogodase sured habukad-ki.»
They, answering, asked him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the body is, there the vultures will also be gathered together.”
