| 1«Тянь Мон азыне тейнть, афолесть када кемамантень. | 1 “I have said these things to you so that you wouldn’t be caused to stumble. |
| 2Паттядязь тинь синагогаста, и сай нинге стама пинге, мзярда тинь шавондыенте кармайхть арьсема – тянь вельде сюконяйхть-покодихть Шкайти. | 2 They will put you out of the synagogues. Yes, the time comes that whoever kills you will think that he offers service to God. |
| 3Тяфта кармайхть тиендема, сяс мес ашезь сода аф Алязень, аф Монь. | 3 They will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor me. |
| 4Мон тянь азыне тейнть вага мезенкса: мзярда сай ся пингсь, лятфталесть: тянь колга Мон тейнть азондонь. Васенда тянь колга ашень корхне тейнть, сяс мес Монць мархтонтолень». | 4 But I have told you these things, so that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you about them. I didn’t tell you these things from the beginning, because I was with you. |
| 5«А тяни молян Кучиезти, и кивок эздонт аф кизефнесамань Монь: "Ков молят?" | 5 But now I am going to him who sent me, and none of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’ |
| 6Но сянь эзда, мезе Мон азонь тейнть, седиенте пяшкодсь ризфта. | 6 But because I have told you these things, sorrow has filled your heart. |
| 7Но Мон видеть корхтаса тейнть: Монь тумазе тейнть ули цебяренди. Вдь кда аф туян, Лездысь аф сай тейнть; а кда туян, эста кучса Сонь тейнть. | 7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I don’t go away, the Counselor won’t come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. |
| 8Мзярда Сон сай, няфтьсы масторлангть аф виде арьсеманц пежеть колга, видексшиса эрямать и судендамать колга: | 8 When he has come, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment; |
| 9масторлангть пежец тоса, мес аф кемай Тейне; | 9 about sin, because they don’t believe in me; |
| 10видексшись тоса: Мон молян Эсь Алязти, и тинь аф няйсамасть ни Монь; | 10 about righteousness, because I am going to my Father, and you won’t see me any more; |
| 11а судендамась тоса: тя масторлангть азороц судендаф ни. | 11 about judgment, because the prince of this world has been judged. |
| 12Монь нинге лама мезезе ули азомс тейнть; но тяни тейнть ся аф шарьхкодеви. | 12 “I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t bear them now. |
| 13А мзярда сай видешити вяти Ваймопожфсь, эста Сон вяттядязь видешить педа-пес шарьхкодеманцты: вдь Сон аф Эсь эздонза кармай корхтама, а корхтасы сянь, мезе маряй, сай пингтьке азсы тейнть. | 13 However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming. |
| 14Сон няфтьсы Монь иневалдозень, вдь мезе Сон азы, сянь сявсы Моннеть эзда и азондсы тейнть. | 14 He will glorify me, for he will take from what is mine, and will declare it to you. |
| 15Сембось, мезсь Алязень, ся Монне; сяс Мон мярьгонь: "Сявсы Моннеть эзда и азондсы тейнть". | 15 All things that the Father has are mine; therefore I said that he takes of mine and will declare it to you. |
| 16Курок Монь ни аф няйсамасть, и курок Монь тага няйсамасть, сяс мес Мон молян Алязти». | 16 A little while, and you will not see me. Again a little while, and you will see me.” |
| 17Эста Сонь тонафниензон ёткста кой-конатне пшкядсть фкя-фкянди: «Мезе тяфта Сон корхтай тейнек: "Курок Монь ни аф няйсамасть, и курок Монь тага няйсамасть", и "Мон молян Алязти"?» | 17Some of his disciples therefore said to one another, “What is this that he says to us, ‘A little while, and you won’t see me, and again a little while, and you will see me;’ and, ‘Because I go to the Father’?” |
| 18Стане синь корхнесть: «Мезе тяфта Сон корхтай: "Курок ни"? Аф шарьхкодьсаськ, мезе корхтай». | 18They said therefore, “What is this that he says, ‘A little while’? We don’t know what he is saying.” |
| 19Иисус няезе, синь мяльсноль кизефтемс кядьстонза, азозе тейст: «Афоли тянь колга кизефнетяда фкя-фкянь, мес Мон мярьгонь: "Курок Монь ни аф няйсамасть, и курок Монь тага няйсамасть"? | 19Therefore Jesus perceived that they wanted to ask him, and he said to them, “Do you inquire among yourselves concerning this, that I said, ‘A little while, and you won’t see me, and again a little while, and you will see me?’ |
| 20Видеста корхтан тейнть: тинь карматада авардема и явсема, а масторлангсь кенярди; тинь пратада ризфс, но тинь ризфонте шары кенярдемакс. | 20 Most certainly I tell you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. |
| 21Авась шачфтомста маятай, сяс мес сась шачфтома пингоц; но мзярда шачи идец, кенярдемада юкстасы маятаманц, сяс мес масторлангти эвондась ломань. | 21 A woman, when she gives birth, has sorrow because her time has come. But when she has delivered the child, she doesn’t remember the anguish any more, for the joy that a human being is born into the world. |
| 22Тяфта тиньге тяни ризнатада; но Мон тинь тага няйхтядязь, и эста кенярди тинь седиенте, и тинь кенярдеманте киндинге аф сявови. | 22 Therefore you now have sorrow, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you. |
| 23И ся шиня тинь аф кизефтьсамасть мезень колгавок.Видеста корхтан тейнть: мезе аф анатада Алязень кядьста Монь лемсон, макссы тейнть. | 23 “In that day you will ask me no questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. |
| 24Тячемс тинь мезевок ашеде анце Монь лемсон; анада, и максови тейнть, улеза пяшксе тинь кенярдеманте». | 24 Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full. |
| 25«Тянемс Мон корхнень тейнть валвеляфксса; но сай пинге, мзярда карман корхтама Алязень колга аф валвеляфксса, а видеста. | 25 I have spoken these things to you in figures of speech. But the time is coming when I will no more speak to you in figures of speech, but will tell you plainly about the Father. |
| 26Ся шиня тинь карматада анама Сонь кядьстонза Монь лемсон, и эста Мон ни аф мярьган тейнть: Мон анан Алязень кядьста тинь инксонт; | 26 In that day you will ask in my name; and I don’t say to you that I will pray to the Father for you, |
| 27Сонць Алязе кельктядязь тинь, сяс мес тинь кельгомасть Монь и кармаде кемама: Мон сань Шкайть ширеста. | 27 for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came from God. |
| 28Мон сань Алязень ширеста и сань масторлангти; и тяни кадса масторлангть и туян Алязти». | 28 I came from the Father, and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.” |
| 29Тонафниенза мярьгсть Тейнза: «Вов тяни Тон видеста корхтат, и кодамовок валвеляфкс аф азондат. | 29His disciples said to him, “Behold, now you are speaking plainly, and using no figures of speech. |
| 30Тяни шарьхкодьсаськ: Тон семботь содасак, кизефнемдотка инголе ни содасак. Сяс кематама: Тон Шкайть ширде сать». | 30Now we know that you know all things, and don’t need for anyone to question you. By this we believe that you came from God.” |
| 31Иисус каршезост мярьгсь: «Тяни кематада. | 31Jesus answered them, “Do you now believe? |
| 32Но вов сай пинге, и сась ни: тинь сраттада эсь вастовант и кадсамасть Монь ськамон, но Мон аф ськамонан, Монь мархтон Алязе. | 32 Behold, the time is coming, yes, and has now come, that you will be scattered, everyone to his own place, and you will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. |
| 33Тянь Мон азыне тейнть, муледе сетьмоши Монь эсон. Масторлангса тинь кармайхть улема пичефксонте; но кирдеда: Мон сяськине масторлангть». | 33 I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.” |
