| 2Шобдава тага сась Шкаень куду, и сембе мольсть Тейнза. Сон озась и кармась тонафтома эсост. | 2Now very early in the morning, he came again into the temple, and all the people came to him. He sat down and taught them. |
| 3Тяса койти тонафтыхне и фарисейхне вятсть Тейнза ава, кона кундафоль лия алянь ваксста, арафтозь сонь кучкати, | 3The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman taken in adultery. Having set her in the middle, |
| 4мярьгсть Иисусти: «Тонафты! Тя авась кундаф лия алянь ваксста, | 4they told him, “Teacher, we found this woman in adultery, in the very act. |
| 5а Моисей койсонза мярьгсь тейнек шавондомс тяфтапнень кевса: Тон мезе азат?» | 5Now in our law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. What then do you say about her?” |
| 6Тяфта синь корхтасть, сяс мес ёрасть кундамс Иисусть валса и мумс кодамовок туфтал Сонь муворгофтомс.Но Иисус комась и сурсонза сёрмадсь модать лангс. | 6They said this testing him, that they might have something to accuse him of. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with his finger. |
| 7А мзярда тага ушедсть Сонь кизефнемонза, Сон кеподезе прянц и азозе тейст: «Кие ёткстонт пежефтома, ся катк васенцекс ёрдай авать лангс кев». | 7But when they continued asking him, he looked up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw the first stone at her.” |

Лядсь ськамонза Иисус и авась, кона ащесь инголенза. | 9They, when they heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning from the oldest, even to the last. Jesus was left alone with the woman where she was, in the middle. |
| 10Иисус кеподезе Эсь прянц и авада башка киньге апак няйхть, мярьгсь авати: «Ава! Косот тонь муворгофнихне? Кивок ашензе суденда?» | 10Jesus, standing up, saw her and said, “Woman, where are your accusers? Did no one condemn you?” |
| 11Авась мярьгсь каршезонза: «Кивок аш, Азор». Иисус корхтай тейнза: «Монга аф судендате, архт и оду тят тиенде пежет». | 11She said, “No one, Lord.” Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go your way. From now on, sin no more.” |

Кие моли мельган, ся аф якай шобдашиса, но сянь ули эряфонь максы валдоц». | 12Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.” |

А тинь аф содасасть, коста сань и ков молян. | 14Jesus answered them, “Even if I testify about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from, and where I am going; but you don’t know where I came from, or where I am going. |
| 15Тинь судендатада ланга ванозь; Мон киньге аф судендаса. | 15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one. |
| 16А кда ни судендалень, Монь судендамазе улель виде, сяс мес Мон аф ськамонан, Монь мархтон Алязе, Монь Кучиезе. | 16 Even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent me. |
| 17Тинь коентень эса сёрматф: "Кафта ломаттнень азондомасна виде". | 17 It’s also written in your law that the testimony of two people is valid. |
| 18Мон Монць азондан Эсь колган, и азонды колган Алязе, Монь Кучиезе». | 18 I am one who testifies about myself, and the Father who sent me testifies about me.” |
| 19Эста мярьгсть Тейнза: «Коса Аляце?» Иисус каршезост мярьгсь: «Аф Монь, аф Алязень тинь аф содасасть; содалемасть Монь, эста содалесть Монь Алязеньге». | 19They said therefore to him, “Where is your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither me nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father also.” |

| 23Иисус мярьгсь тейст: «Тинь тяста, алдоннетнень эзда, а Мон вярденнетнень; тинь тя масторлангста, Мон аф тя масторлангонь. | 23He said to them, “You are from beneath. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world. |
| 24Сяс Мон мярьгонь тейнть: кулотада эсь пежесонт. Кда аф кематада – тя Монан*б, эста кулотада эсь пежесонт». | 24 I said therefore to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.” |

However he who sent me is true; and the things which I heard from him, these I say to the world.” |

Но кода тонафтомань Алязе, стане и корхтан. | 28Jesus therefore said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and I do nothing of myself, but as my Father taught me, I say these things. |

| 31Эста Иисус мярьгсь ся еврейхненди, конат кармасть Тейнза кемама: «Эряндярятада Монь валозень коряс, эста тинь видекс Монь тонафнине. | 31Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. |
| 32И карматада содамонза видешить, и видешись нолдатядязь тинь воляс». | 32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” |
| 33Каршезонза мярьгсть: «Минь Авраамонь уноконь-уноконзотама и мзярдовок киндинге урекс ашеме уленде; мес ина Тон корхтат: "Мянттяда воляс"?» | 33They answered him, “We are Abraham’s offspring, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How do you say, ‘You will be made free’?” |
| 34Иисус азозе: «Видеста корхтан тейнть: эрь пежень тиись – пежети уре. | 34Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin. |
| 35Уресь азоронц кудса эряй аф сембе пингс; кудса сембе пингс эряй кудазорть цёрац. | 35 A bondservant doesn’t live in the house forever. A son remains forever. |

| 37Содаса: тинь Авраамонь уноконь-уноконзотада; и сякокс ёрасамасть Монь шавомс, сяс мес Монь валозе ашезь сува эзонт. | 37 I know that you are Abraham’s offspring, yet you seek to kill me, because my word finds no place in you. |
| 38Мон корхтаса сянь, мезе няень Алязень ваксса; а тинь тиендьсасть сянь, мезть кулесть эсь алянтень эзда». | 38 I say the things which I have seen with my Father; and you also do the things which you have seen with your father.” |
| 39Синь каршезонза мярьгсть: «Минь аляньке Авраам». Иисус азозе тейст: «Улендяряледе Авраамонь иденза, эста тиенделесть Авраамонь тевонзон. | 39They answered him, “Our father is Abraham.” Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham. |
| 40А тяни ёрасамасть шавомс Монь, Ломанть, кона азозе тейнть ся видешить, конань кулезе Шкайть кургста. Авраам лацонт афоль тие. | 40 But now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham didn’t do this. |
| 41Тинь тиендьсасть эсь алянтень тевснон».Тянь каршес мярьгсть Тейнза: «Минь аф лия алянь эзда шачфтама; минь ули фкя аляньке, Шкайсь». | 41 You do the works of your father.” They said to him, “We were not born of sexual immorality. We have one Father, God.” |
| 42Иисус мярьгсь тейст: «Улендяряль Шкайсь тинь алянте, кельголемасть Монь, сяс мес Мон сань Шкайть эзда; вдь Мон аф Эсь эздон сань, а Сон кучемань Монь. | 42Therefore Jesus said to them, “If God were your father, you would love me, for I came out and have come from God. For I haven’t come of myself, but he sent me. |
| 43Мес тинь аф шарьхкодьсасть корхтамазень? Сяс мес аф ёратада Монь валозень кулхцондомс. | 43 Why don’t you understand my speech? Because you can’t hear my word. |
| 44Тинь алянте идемэвозсь; и тинь мяленте тиендемс алянтень лаца визькс тефт. Сон ушетксстокиге ульсь ломанень шавонды и ашезь ащев видешиса; сяс мес аш эсонза видеши. Мзярда сон кяльготни, корхтай эсенц; сяс мес сон – кяльготнись и кяльготнемать аляц. | 44 You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and the father of lies. |
| 45А мзярда Мон видеть корхтаса, тинь аф кематада Тейне. | 45 But because I tell the truth, you don’t believe me. |
| 46Киндивок няфтеви Монь пежес сувамазе? А кда Мон корхтан видеста, мес ина аф кематада Тейне? | 46 Which of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me? |
| 47Кие Шкайть эзда, ся кульсыне Шкаень валхнень. Тинь сяс аш мяленте кулхцондомс, мес аф Шкайть эздотада». | 47 He who is of God hears the words of God. For this cause you don’t hear, because you are not of God.” |
| 48Тянь каршес еврейхне корхтасть Иисусонди: «Дяряй аф видеть корхтасаськ: Тон Самариянь эряят и эсот кяжи ваймопожфсь?» | 48Then the Jews answered him, “Don’t we say well that you are a Samaritan, and have a demon?” |
| 49Иисус каршезост мярьгсь: «Эсон аш кяжи ваймопожф; Мон шнаса Алязень, а тинь сялдсамасть Монь. | 49Jesus answered, “I don’t have a demon, but I honor my Father and you dishonor me. |
| 50Мон аф вешендян эстейне шнама; ули вешенди и ули судендай. | 50 But I don’t seek my own glory. There is one who seeks and judges. |
| 51Видеста корхтан тейнть: кие тиенди Монь валнень коряс, ся мзярдовок аф кулы». | 51 Most certainly, I tell you, if a person keeps my word, he will never see death.” |

Кулось Авраам, пророкневок; а Тон корхтат: "Кие тиенди Монь валнень коряс, ся мзярдовок аф кулы". | 52Then the Jews said to him, “Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham died, as did the prophets; and you say, ‘If a man keeps my word, he will never taste of death.’ |
| 53Дяряй Тон сяда оцюват минь аляньконь Авраамонь коряс, кона кулось? Пророкневок кулсесть: кикс лувондсак Эсь пряцень?» | 53Are you greater than our father, Abraham, who died? The prophets died. Who do you make yourself out to be?” |
| 54Иисус каршезост: «Кда Мон Монць шнаса-оцюлгофнеса Эсь прязень, эста Монь шнамазе-оцюлгофтомазе мезевок аш. Монь эсон шнай-оцюлгофты Алязе, конань колга тинь корхтатада: "Сон минь Шкаеньке". | 54Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say that he is our God. |
| 55И тинь ашесть сода Сонь; а Мон Сонь содаса; и кда мярьган: "Аф содаса Сонь", эста аран тинь лацонт кяльготникс. Но Мон содаса Сонь и тиендян Сонь валонц коряс. | 55 You have not known him, but I know him. If I said, ‘I don’t know him,’ I would be like you, a liar. But I know him and keep his word. |
| 56Тинь алянте Авраам кенярдсь, сяс мес Тейнза сави няемс Монь сама шизень; няезе и кенярдсь». | 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day. He saw it, and was glad.” |
| 57Тянь каршес еврейхне Тейнза мярьгсть: «Тейть аш нинге ведьгемонь кизовок, и Тон няить Авраамонь?» | 57The Jews therefore said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old! Have you seen Abraham?” |
| 58Иисус мярьгсь тейст: «Видеста корхтан тейнть: Авраамонь шачемдонза инголе Мон ни улень и улян*в». | 58Jesus said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, before Abraham came into existence, I AM. |
| 59Эста синь кочкасть кефт лангозонза ёрямс; но Иисус кяшсь, лиссь Шкаень кудста, ётась синь ётковаст и тусь сяда тов. | 59Therefore they took up stones to throw at him, but Jesus was hidden, and went out of the temple, having gone through the middle of them, and so passed by. |
