| 1Сяльде Иисус сувась Иерихону и ётась пачканза. | 1He entered and was passing through Jericho. |
| 2Ошса ульсь фкя козя аля, каяфксонь кочкайхнень оцюнясна, лемоцоль Закхей. | 2There was a man named Zacchaeus. He was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. |
| 3Сонь пяк мялецоль варжакстомс Иисусонь лангс, кодама Сон, аньцек лама ломанень фталда ашезь няе ёмла серенц сюнеда. | 3He was trying to see who Jesus was, and couldn’t because of the crowd, because he was short. |
| 4Эста сон инголдазень ломаттнень и Иисусонь няеманкса куцсь смоква шуфтть пряс, конань вакска Сянди сави ётамс. | 4He ran on ahead, and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him, for he was going to pass that way. |
| 5Иисус ся вастти пачкодемста, варжакстсь вяри и мярьгсь тейнза: «Закхей, валк куроконе, тячи Тейне эряви лоткамс пялот». | 5When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” |

| 7Тянь няемста сембе ушедсть изгордозь корхтама: «Вай, Иисус сувась инжикс пежу ломанень пяли». | 7When they saw it, they all murmured, saying, “He has gone in to lodge with a man who is a sinner.” |
| 8Закхей арась инголи и мярьгсь Азорти: «Азор, уликс-парозень пяленц максса ашуфненди, а кинь кядьста васькафтозь сявонь сяда лама – пандса нилень-крдаксть». | 8Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, half of my goods I give to the poor. If I have wrongfully exacted anything of anyone, I restore four times as much.” |
| 9Иисус мярьгсь тейнза: «Тяни сась тя куду идемась, сяс мес Закхейге Авраамонь цёрац. | 9Jesus said to him, “Today, salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham. |
| 10Ломанень Цёрась сась юмафнень вешемост и идемост». | 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.” |
| 11Сятненди, кит кулхцондозь тянь, Иисус азондсь нинге фкя валвеляфкс. Вдь Сон ульсь Иерусалимть маласа, и синь арьсесть, курок сай Шкаень Оцязорксшись. | 11As they heard these things, he went on and told a parable, because he was near Jerusalem, and they supposed that God’s Kingdom would be revealed immediately. |

| 13Тумстонза сон тердезень кемонь покодиензон, макссь тейст кемонь зрнянь ярмакт*а и мярьгсь: "Монь мрдамозон нолдасть тя ярмакть тевс". | 13 He called ten servants of his and gave them ten mina coins, and told them, ‘Conduct business until I come.’ |
| 14Но тя масторонь эряйхне афолезь няе сонь и кучсть мельганза ломатть эсь мяльснон пачфтема: "Минь аш мяленьке няемс тя ломанть эстейнек оцязоркс". | 14 But his citizens hated him, and sent an envoy after him, saying, ‘We don’t want this man to reign over us.’ |
| 15Мзярда тейнза максовсь оцязорксшись и сон мрдась меки, тертьфтезень ся покодихнень, конатненди макссь ярмак, сяс мес мялецоль содамс, кие мзярксть касфтозе ярмакть. | 15 “When he had come back again, having received the kingdom, he commanded these servants, to whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by conducting business. |
| 16Сась васенцесь и мярьгсь: "Азор, тонь зрнянь ярмакцень касфтыне кемоньксть". | 16 The first came before him, saying, ‘Lord, your mina has made ten more minas.’ |
| 17Азорсь мярьгсь тейнза: "Пара, цебярят покодись. Сяс мес тонь лангозт ульсь кода надиямс ёмла тевса, сяфть эсь вятемацень алу кемонь ошт". | 17 “He said to him, ‘Well done, you good servant! Because you were found faithful with very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.’ |
| 18Сась омбоцесь и мярьгсь: "Азор, тонь зрнянь ярмакцень касфтыне ветексть". | 18 “The second came, saying, ‘Your mina, Lord, has made five minas.’ |
| 19Сянди азорсь мярьгсь: "Ульхть вете ошень вятикс". | 19 “So he said to him, ‘And you are to be over five cities.’ |
| 20Сась колмоцесь и мярьгсь: "Азор, вов тонь ярмакце, мон ванфтыне сонь руцяня потмоса. | 20 Another came, saying, ‘Lord, behold, your mina, which I kept laid away in a handkerchief, |
| 21Мон пелень эздот, сяс мес тон ломанць казямат: сяват, мезе ашеть путне; нуят, мезе ашеть виде". | 21 for I feared you, because you are an exacting man. You take up that which you didn’t lay down, and reap that which you didn’t sow.’ |
| 22Азороц мярьгсь тейнза: "Кальдяв покоди! Эсь валсот карман судендамот. Тон содайть, мон ломанць казяман, сяван, мезе ашень путне; нуян, мезе ашень виде. | 22 “He said to him, ‘Out of your own mouth I will judge you, you wicked servant! You knew that I am an exacting man, taking up that which I didn’t lay down, and reaping that which I didn’t sow. |
| 23Мес ина тон ашить макса монь ярмакозень полафнема вастс? Эста мрдамдон меле мон сяволине эсь ярмакозень касфтфста". | 23 Then why didn’t you deposit my money in the bank, and at my coming, I might have earned interest on it?’ |
| 24Азорсь мярьгсь вакссонза ащихненди: "Сявость кядьстонза зрнянь ярмакть и максость сянди, кинь кемонь ярмактонза". | 24 He said to those who stood by, ‘Take the mina away from him and give it to him who has the ten minas.’ |
| 25Тейнза мярьгсть: "Азор, сянь ни ули кемонь зрнянь ярмакоц". | 25 “They said to him, ‘Lord, he has ten minas!’ |
| 26"Мон корхтан тейнть, – мярьгсь оцязорсь, – эрти, кинь ули, нинге максови, а кинь аш, сянь кядьста сявови сявок, мезец ули. | 26 ‘For I tell you that to everyone who has, will more be given; but from him who doesn’t have, even that which he has will be taken away from him. |
| 27А монь аф кельгинень, кит ашезь ёра монь оцязоркс арамазень, вятесть сей и сельминголен шавость"». | 27 But bring those enemies of mine who didn’t want me to reign over them here, and kill them before me.’ ” |
| 28Валвеляфксть азондомда меле Иисус поладозе кинц Иерусалиму. | 28Having said these things, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. |
| 29Мзярда Сон пачкодсь Виффагия и Вифания велетнень малас, тона пандти, кона лемневсь Вайшуфта панда, Сон кучезень кафта тонафниензон, | 29When he came near to Bethsphage and Bethany, at the mountain that is called Olivet, he sent two of his disciples, |
| 30мярьгсь тейст: «Арда каршек ащи велети, эзонза сувамста няйхтяда сотнеф од осёл, конань лангса нинге кивок ашезь арне; юксость сонь и вятесть сей. | 30saying, “Go your way into the village on the other side, in which, as you enter, you will find a colt tied, which no man had ever sat upon. Untie it and bring it. |
| 31Кизефтендярятядязь кивок: "Мезенди юкссесасть?", – каршезонза мярьгода тяфта: "Сон эряви Азорти"». | 31 If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ say to him: ‘The Lord needs it.’ ” |
| 32Кучфне тусть и музь семботь стане, кода Иисус мярьгсь тейст. | 32Those who were sent went away, and found things just as he had told them. |
| 33Мзярда синь кармасть осёлть юксомонза, азоронза мярьгсть тейст: «Мезенди юкссесасть од осёлть?» | 33As they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, “Why are you untying the colt?” |
| 34Синь каршезост: «Сон эряви Азорти». | 34They said, “The Lord needs it.” |
| 35Вятезь сонь Иисусонди; лаподезь осёлть лангс щамснон и озафтозь лангозонза Иисусонь. | 35Then they brought it to Jesus. They threw their cloaks on the colt, and sat Jesus on them. |

| 37Пачкодемок ся вастти, коса кись туй алу Вайшуфта пандста, сембе ламодонга лама тонафниенза ушедсть кенярдезь вярьгак вайгяльхть шнамонза Шкайть сембе дивань тефнень инкса, конатнень синь няезь. | 37As he was now getting near, at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen, |
| 38Синь корхнесть: «Бславаф Оцязорсь, кона сай Азорть лемса! Сетьмоши менельса и шнама Инь Вярдень Шкайти!»*б | 38saying, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest!” |
| 39Ломаттнень ёткста кона-кона фарисейхне мярьгсть Иисусонди: «Тонафты, кардайть тонафнихнень». | 39Some of the Pharisees from the multitude said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” |
| 40Но Сон каршезост мярьгсь: «Корхтан тейнть, лоткандяряйхть синь, эста ювадезевихть кефне». | 40He answered them, “I tell you that if these were silent, the stones would cry out.” |
| 41Мзярда маладсь Иерусалимти, ошть лангс ваномста Иисус аварьгодсь инксонза. | 41When he came near, he saw the city and wept over it, |
| 42Сон мярьгсь: «Вай, хуш тячиень шиня тонга содалить, мезсь канды тейть сетьмоши и идема! Аньцек тяни тя кяшф сельмодот; | 42saying, “If you, even you, had known today the things which belong to your peace! But now, they are hidden from your eyes. |
| 43вдь сайхть тейть шит, мзярда душматтне маратядязь модань перяфксса, перятядязь и люпштатядязь сембе ширде. | 43 For the days will come on you, when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, surround you, hem you in on every side, |
| 44Синь машфттядязь тинь и тинь шабантень, кев лангса кевга аф кадыхть – и сембе тя сянкса, мес тон ашить сода ся пингть, мзярда Шкайсь сашендсь максомс тейть идема». | 44 and will dash you and your children within you to the ground. They will not leave in you one stone on another, because you didn’t know the time of your visitation.” |
| 45Шкайкудонь пирьфи сувамста Иисус ушедсь панцемост тоста мишендихнень и рамсихнень. | 45He entered into the temple, and began to drive out those who bought and sold in it, |
| 46Корхтась тейст: «Сёрматфксса азф: "Монь кудозе – озондомань куд*в, а тинь тиесть сонь салаень-шавиень пизокс"*г». | 46saying to them, “It is written, ‘My house is a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of robbers’!” |
| 47Эрь шиня Сон тонафтсь Шкаень кудса. Озксвятиень оцюнятне, койти тонафтыхне и ломаньтналонь оцюнятне вешсть туфтал машфтомс Сонь. | 47He was teaching daily in the temple, but the chief priests, the scribes, and the leading men among the people sought to destroy him. |
| 48Но синь ашезь сода, кода тиемс тянь, сяс мес перьфканза фалу ульсть ломатть, конат кулхцондозь Сонь. | 48They couldn’t find what they might do, for all the people hung on to every word that he said. |
