| 1Сяда меле састь Иисусти Иерусалимста фарисейхть и койти тонафтыхть, корхтайхть: | 1Then Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem, saying, |
| 2«Мес Тонь тонафнихне колсесазь атянь-атяньконь обуцяснон? Синь ярхцамда инголе аф штакшнесазь кядьснон». | 2“Why do your disciples disobey the tradition of the elders? For they don’t wash their hands when they eat bread.” |
| 3Сон пшкядсь каршезост: «А мес тинь колсесасть Шкайть кошардомвалонц эсь обуцянтень инкса? | 3He answered them, “Why do you also disobey the commandment of God because of your tradition? |
| 4Вдь Шкайсь кошардсь: "Ванк аляцень и тядяцень мяльснон" и "Кие сялдсы алянц али тядянц, ся улеза максф куломас". | 4 For God commanded, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.’ |
| 5А тинь тонафттада: "Кда кие мярьги алянцты али тядянцты: 'Сянь, мезе эряволь максомс тейть, максса Шкайти', | 5 But you say, ‘Whoever may tell his father or his mother, “Whatever help you might otherwise have gotten from me is a gift devoted to God,” |
| 6эста сянди аф эряви ни ванондомс алянц мяленц". Тяфта тинь колсесасть Шкайть кошардомвалонц эсь обуцянтень инкса. | 6 he shall not honor his father or mother.’ You have made the commandment of God void because of your tradition. |
| 7Шамафксонь каннихть! Лац тинь колгант пророчендась Исаия пророксь, мзярда мярьгсь: | 7 You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying, |
| 8 "Ня ломаттне аньцек валса ванцазь Монь мялезень, синь седисна ичкозет эздон; | 8 ‘These people draw near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. |
| 9но синь шавоста сюконякшнихть Тейне, сяс мес синь тонафтомасна – тя ломанень кошардомат"*а». | 9 And in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrine rules made by men.’ ” |
| 10Иисус тердезень ломаттнень и мярьгсь: «Кулхцондода и шарьхкодесть: | 10He summoned the multitude, and said to them, “Hear, and understand. |
| 11ломанть аф арукс тиендьсы аф ся, мезсь сувай кургозонза, а ся, мезсь лиси тоста». | 11 That which enters into the mouth doesn’t defile the man; but that which proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.” |
| 12Эста тонафниенза маладсть Тейнза и мярьгсть: «Содасак, Тонь валхне кяжияфтозь фарисейхнень?» | 12Then the disciples came, and said to him, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?” |
| 13Сон мярьгсь каршезост: «Эрь касыкссь, конань озафтозе аф Монь Менелень Алязе, ули таргаф юрнек. | 13But he answered, “Every plant which my heavenly Father didn’t plant will be uprooted. |
| 14Тяда пичеде фарисейхнень инкса, синь – сокоронь вяти сокорхт; а кда сокорсь вяти сокор, эста кафцьке прайхть лоткс». | 14 Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. If the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.” |
| 15Пётр каршезонза мярьгсь: «Панчк тейнек тя валвеляфксть смузенц». | 15Peter answered him, “Explain the parable to us.” |
| 16Иисус мярьгсь: «Кали тейнтьке нинге аф шарьхкодеви? | 16So Jesus said, “Do you also still not understand? |
| 17Дяряй тинь нинге ашесть шарьхкоде: сембось, мезсь сувай ломанть кургова, пови пекс и тоста лихтеви? | 17 Don’t you understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the belly, and then out of the body? |
| 18А мезсь лиси кургста, ся лиси седиста; и тя тиендьсы ломанть аф арукс. | 18 But the things which proceed out of the mouth come out of the heart, and they defile the man. |
| 19Сяс мес ломанень седиста лисихть кальдяв мяльхне-арьсематне, шавоматне, полань полафтоматне, усксевоматне, саламатне, лиянь лангс васькафнематне и сялдоматне. | 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies. |
| 20Сембось тя тиендьсы ломанть аф арукс, а апак штак кятть ярхцамась – ломанть аф арукс аф тиендьсы». | 20 These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands doesn’t defile the man.” |
| 21Иисус лиссь тоста и тусь Тиронь и Сидононь аймакненди. | 21Jesus went out from there, and withdrew into the region of Tyre and Sidon. |
| 22Вов, Тейнза маладсь Хананеянь ава, кона ульсь ся ширдень, и пешкодсь: «Азор, Давидть Цёрац, ужяльдемак монь! Стирнязень эса кяжи ваймопожф; и тейнза пяк кальдяв». | 22Behold, a Canaanite woman came out from those borders, and cried, saying, “Have mercy on me, Lord, you son of David! My daughter is severely possessed by a demon!” |
| 23Но Иисус каршезонза валга ашезь аза. Сонь тонафниенза маладсть и мярьгсть Тейнза: «Тик авати, мезе веши, сяс мес сон моли мельганк и юватькшни». | 23But he answered her not a word. His disciples came and begged him, saying, “Send her away; for she cries after us.” |
| 24Иисус каршезост мярьгсь: «Мон кучфан аньцек Израилень ломаньтналти, кона юмаф-араф учань лаца». | 24But he answered, “I wasn’t sent to anyone but the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” |
| 25Авась маладсь, сюконясь Сонь инголенза и мярьгсь: «Азор! Лезтт тейне». | 25But she came and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, help me.” |
| 26Иисус корхтай каршезонза: «Аф пара сявомс кшить шабатнень кядьста и ёрдамс пинетненди». | 26But he answered, “It is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” |
| 27Авась мярьгсь: «Виде, Азор! Но пинетневок ярхцайхть паморькста, конат пяярихть синь азорснон шрастост». | 27But she said, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.” |
| 28Эста Иисус пшкядсь каршезонза: «Вай, ава! Тонь пяк оцю кемамаце; улеза тейть тонь мяльцень коряс». И эстокиге сонь стирец пчкясь. | 28Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, great is your faith! Be it done to you even as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that hour. |
| 29Иисус кадозе ся вастть и сась Галилеянь эрьхке трвати, куцсь пандть лангс и озась тоса. | 29Jesus departed from there, and came near to the sea of Galilee; and he went up into the mountain, and sat there. |
| 30Перьфканза пуромсь лама ломань, вятсть мархтост шаморхт, сокорхт, аф корхтайхть, синнеф-тапаф кядь и пильге мархтот, и эрь кодама урмаса лама лия сярядихть, путнезь синь Иисусть пильгс; и Сон пчкафнезень синь. | 30Great multitudes came to him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others, and they put them down at his feet. He healed them, |
| 31Ломаттне дивандасть, мзярда няезь, кода аф корхтайхне корхтайхть, синнеф-тапаф кядь и пильге мархтотне пчксихть, шаморхне якайхть и сокорхне няихть; и синь шнакшнезь Израилень Шкайть. | 31so that the multitude wondered when they saw the mute speaking, the injured healed, the lame walking, and the blind seeing—and they glorified the God of Israel. |
| 32Иисус тердезень тонафниензон и мярьгсь тейст: «Ужяльхть Тейне ломаттне. Синь колма шит ни мархтон и аш мезьда тейст ярхцамс. Вачеда Мон синь аф нолдасайне, каба афольхть машта вийда ки лангса». | 32Jesus summoned his disciples and said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I don’t want to send them away fasting, or they might faint on the way.” |
| 33Тонафниенза корхтайхть Тейнза: «Коста шавмодаса тейнек сявомс тняра кши, тяшкава лама ломанень андомс?» | 33The disciples said to him, “Where should we get so many loaves in a deserted place as to satisfy so great a multitude?” |
| 34Иисус синь кизефнесыне: «Мзяра тинь кшидонт?» Тонафниенза мярьгсть: «Сисем кшит, и аф лама калня». | 34Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven, and a few small fish.” |
| 35Эста Иисус мярьгсь ломаттненди озсемс модать лангс. | 35He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground; |
| 36Сявозень сисем кшитнень и калхнень, азсь Шкайти сюконяма, синнезень синь и максозень Эсь тонафниензонды, а тонафниенза – ломаттненди. | 36and he took the seven loaves and the fish. He gave thanks and broke them, and gave to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes. |
| 37Сембе ярхцасть и топодсть, и лятф сускомда кочкасть сисем пяшксе кептерьхть. | 37They all ate, and were filled. They took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces that were left over. |
| 38А ярхцайда ульсь ниле тёжятть, тя авада и шабада башка. | 38Those who ate were four thousand men, in addition to women and children. |
| 39Иисус нолдазень ломаттнень, озась венчс и сась Магдала мастору. | 39Then he sent away the multitudes, got into the boat, and came into the borders of Magdala. |
