Chapter 8

Konzu Vuonu avai seiččemenden pečatin, taivahas kai hil'l'eni, muga oli puolen čuasun verran.1When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
Minä näin seiččie anhelii, kudamat seizottih Jumalan ies. Heile annettih seiččie torvie.2I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
Tuli vie üksi anheli da seizatui altarin rinnale, hänel oli kuldaine kuajinduast'e. Hänele annettih äijü luadanua, gu häi tuos sen ühtes jumalanuskojien malittuloinke altarile prestolan edeh.3Another angel came and stood over the altar, having a golden censer. Much incense was given to him, that he should add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne.
I nouzi kuajindusavvu anhelin käis ühtes jumalanuskojien malittuloinke Jumalan edeh.4The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel’s hand.
Anheli otti kuajinduastien, täütti sen altarispäi otetul tulel da lükkäi sen muale; i jürüü räčkütti, kuului iänii, tuldu iški i mua särizi.5The angel took the censer, and he filled it with the fire of the altar, then threw it on the earth. Thunders, sounds, lightnings, and an earthquake followed.
I net seiččie anhelii, kudamil oli seiččie torvie, varustettihes puhaldamah torvih.6The seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
Enzimäine anheli puhaldi torveh. I tuli raistu da tuldu, verenke segai net oli lükättü muah. Kolmas vuitti muadu paloi, i kolmas vuitti puulois paloi, i paloi kai vihandu heinü.7The first sounded, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. One third of the earth was burned up, and one third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.
Toine anheli puhaldi torveh. I buitegu suuri tulel palai mägi lükättih mereh. Kolmas vuitti meres muutui verekse,8The second angel sounded, and something like a great burning mountain was thrown into the sea. One third of the sea became blood,
i kolmas vuitti kaikis meren elävis kuoli, i kolmas vuitti laivois hävii.9and one third of the living creatures which were in the sea died. One third of the ships were destroyed.
Kolmas anheli puhaldi torveh, - taivahaspäi pakui suuri tiähti palajen gu tulirobl'o. Se pakui kolmandeh vuittih jogilois da vien nouzemile.10The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from the sky, burning like a torch, and it fell on one third of the rivers, and on the springs of the waters.
Sen tiähten nimi oli Kargei heinü, i kolmas vuitti kaikis vezis rodih kargei gu kargei heinü, i äijät rahvas kuoltih vien periä, gu se rodih kargei.11The name of the star is called “Wormwood.” One third of the waters became wormwood. Many people died from the waters, because they were made bitter.
N'elläs anheli puhaldi torveh. Sit hullai kolmanden vuitin päiväzes, kolmanden vuitin kuus da kolmanden vuitin tiähtis. Net pimettih kolmandeksel: kolmas vuitti päiväs oli pimei, muga pimeni i kolmas vuitti üös.12The fourth angel sounded, and one third of the sun was struck, and one third of the moon, and one third of the stars; so that one third of them would be darkened, and the day wouldn’t shine for one third of it, and the night in the same way.
Sit minä näin kotkan, kudai lendi keskitaivahal da kuulin, kui se kirgui kovah: «Gor'a! Gor'a! Gor'a niilöile, kudamat eletäh mual! Midä rodieu, konzu puhaldetah torvih vie kolme anhelii!»13I saw, and I heard an eagle, flying in mid heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe! Woe! Woe for those who dwell on the earth, because of the other voices of the trumpets of the three angels, who are yet to sound!”
