Chapter 3

1Sendäh tüö, pühät uskovellet, kudamii sežo kučui Taivahalline, kačokkua Iisussah, kudamua müö sanommo meijän apostolakse da ülimäzekse papikse.1Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession: Jesus,
2Iisus oli surematoi ruadai sille, kudai Händü ruadoh pani, kui Moisei oli surematoi «kaikes Hänen koin kačondas».2who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also Moses was in all his house.
3No Iisus on suurembas kunnivos piettävü migu Moisei, sidä suurembas, midä suurembas počotas on koin luadii, migu kodi.3For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, because he who built the house has more honor than the house.
4Tiettäväine, joga kodi on kenentahto luajittu, no Jumal on luadinuh kai.4For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
5Moisei oli surematoi kaikes Jumalan koin kačondas, no häi oli vai sen ruadai, oli elävännü merkinnü sit, mih näh Jumalal pidi sanella müöhembi.5Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,
6A Hristos on Poigu, Hänen käzih on annettu Jumalan kogo kodi. A sennü koinnu olemmo müö, gu emmo nikonzu kaimanne rohkevuttu da nad'oužua, kudamah näh löühkämmö.6but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house. We are his house, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.
7On muga, kui sanou Pühä Hengi:
- Tänäpäi, gu kuuletto Hänen iänen,
7Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you will hear his voice,
8älgiä kovendakkua omua süväindü,
kui ruattih teijän tuatat, konzu hüö nostettih käzi Minuu vastah,
opittih Minun mielii elämättömäs muas.
8don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness,
9Sie hüö opittih Minun tirpandua,
hos nähtih Minun ruavot
n'ellänkümmenen vuvven aigua.
9where your fathers tested me and tried me, and saw my deeds for forty years.
10Sikse Minä suutuin heijän piäle da sanoin:
«Ainos hüö ollah südämeči üöksüksis.»
Ei hüö nouttu Minun dorogoi,
10Therefore I was displeased with that generation, and said, ‘They always err in their heart, but they didn’t know my ways.’
11sikse Minä vihas annoin lujan sanan:
«Hüö nikui ei piästä
Minun huogavundukohtah.»
11As I swore in my wrath, ‘They will not enter into my rest.’ ”
12Kačokkua, vellet, gu nikel teis süväin ei olis paha da uskomatoi i tüö etto kieldävüs eläväs Jumalas.12Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
13No avvutakkua toine tostu joga päiviä, kuni voibi sanuo «tänäpäi», gu riähkü ei muanittas nikedä teis da ei kovendas teijän süväindü.13but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called “today”, lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
14Meilhäi roih ühtehine oza Hristosanke, gu vai voinnemmo loppuh suate püzüö sit uskos, kudai meil oli allus.14For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end,
15
Täh niškoi on sanottu nenga:
- Tänäpäi, gu kuuletto Hänen iänen,
älgiä kovendakkua omua süväindü,
kui ruavoitto silloi, konzu
nostitto käin Händü vastah.
15while it is said, “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion.”
16Ketbo luajittih nenga: kuultih, üksikai nostettih käzi Jumalua vastah? Kaikin net, kudamat Moisein vietettävinnü lähtiettih iäre Jegiptaspäi.16For who, when they heard, rebelled? Wasn’t it all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses?
17Kenen piäle Jumal oli vihas n'ellikümmen vuottu? Niilöin piäle, kudamat luajittih riähkiä da kudamien luut jiädih elämättömäh muah.17With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
18Kelle Häi andoi sanan, gu hüö ei piästä Hänen huogavundukohtah? Sanankuulemattomile.18To whom did he swear that they wouldn’t enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
19Sen müö näimmögi: hüö ei voidu piästä sinne, gu ei uskottu.19We see that they weren’t able to enter in because of unbelief.
