Chapter 5

Chapter 5

Jogahine, ken uskou sen, gu Iisus on Hristos, se on rodinuhes Jumalaspäi, i jogahine, ken suvaiččou lapsen vahnembua, se suvaiččou lastugi.1Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God. Whoever loves the Father also loves the child who is born of him.
Sit müö tiijämmö, müö suvaičemmo Jumalan lapsii, gu suvaičemmo Jumalua da novvammo Hänen käskülöi.2By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments.
Sehäi ongi Jumalan suvaičendu, gu müö novvammo Hänen käskülöi. I Hänen käsküt ei olla jügiet,3For this is loving God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous.
gu jogahine, ken on rodinuhes Jumalaspäi, voittau muailman. A se voitto on meijän usko, se voitti muailman.4For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.
Ken vie voibi voittua muailman, gu ei se, kudai uskou: Iisus on Jumalan Poigu. Ken?
Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
Häi, Iisus Hristos, tuli vien da veren kauti, i tuli ei vai ühten vien, a vien da veren kauti. I Hengi on tovendajannu, sikse gu Hengi on tozi.6This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
Kolme on tovendajua [taivahas: Tuatto, Sana da Pühä Hengi, i net kolme ollah üksi.7For there are three who testify:
I kolme on tovendajua mual]: Hengi, vezi da veri, i net kolme sanotah ühtü.8the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and the three agree as one.
Müö uskommo rahvahan tovenduksen, a äijiä lujembi on Jumalan tovendus, sendäh gu se on Jumalan tovendus, i Häi tovendi omah Poigah näh.9If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is God’s testimony which he has testified concerning his Son.
Ken uskou Jumalan Poigah, sil on tovendus omas ičes. No ken ei usko Jumalan tovendustu, luadiu Hänes kielastajan, sendäh gu ei usko, midä Jumal tovendi omah Poigah näh.10He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who doesn’t believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son.
I tämä on se tovendus: Jumal andoi meile ilmanigäzen eloksen, i tämä elos on Hänen Poijas.11The testimony is this, that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
Kel on Poigu, sil on elos. Kel ei ole Jumalan Poigua, sil ei ole elostu.
He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life.
Kaiken tämän minä kirjutin teile, kudamat uskotto Jumalan Poijan nimeh, gu tüö tiedäzittö: teil on ilmanigäine elos.13These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
I tämä on se surematoi usko, kudai meil on Häneh: gu küzünemmö midä Hänen tahton mugah, Häi kuulou meidü.14This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.
I ku tiijämmö, Häi kuulou meidü, küzünemmö müö hos midä, tiijämmö, meil on se, midä küzüimmö Hänes.15And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
Gu ken nähnöü vellie luadimas riähkiä, kudai ei vie surmah, anna molihes se, kudai nägi, i Jumal andau sille riähkänluadijale elaijan; minä pagizen niilöis, kenen riähkü ei vie surmah. No on riähkiä, kudai vedäü surmah, i moizes riähkäs minä en kuču molimahes.16If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for those who sin not leading to death. There is a sin leading to death. I don’t say that he should make a request concerning this.
Kai viärüs on riähkü, no on riähkiä, kudamat ei vietä surmah.17All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not leading to death.
Müö tiijämmö: ni üksi Jumalaspäi rodinuhes ei luaji riähkiä. Häi, kudai rodiihes Jumalaspäi, vardoiččou jogahistu heis muga, ga pahalaine ei koskei heih.18We know that whoever is born of God doesn’t sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn’t touch him.
Müö tiijämmö, müö olemmo Jumalaspäi, no kai muailmu on pahalazen vallas.19We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.
Tiijämmö müö i sen: Jumalan Poigu on tulluh da andanuh meile ellendüksen, gu tiijustazimmo Händü, kudai on Tovelline. Täs Tovellizes müö elämmö, gu olemmo Hänen Poijas Iisusas Hristosas. Häi on tozi Jumal da ilmanigäine elos.20We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
Lapsuot, püzükkiä eriže valehjumalois!21Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
