APOSTOLOIN RUAVOT

Acts

Chapter 6

Chapter 6

Niilöih aigoih opastujien joukko ainos vai kazvoi. Gretsienkielizet jevreit ruvettih kiistämäh jevreinkielizienke, buite heijän leskinaizii vuarrettih jogapäivällistü abuu jagajes.1Now in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, a complaint arose from the Hellenists against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily service.
Sit net kaksitostu apostolua kučuttih ühteh kogo opastujien joukko i sanottih heile: «Ei ole hüvä, ku müö, apostolat einehen jagamizen täh jätämmö bokkah Jumalan sanan.2The twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, “It is not appropriate for us to forsake the word of God and serve tables.
Vallikkua, vellet, teijän keskes seiččie miestü, kudamih näh kaikin sanotah vai hüviä da kudamat ollah tävvet Hengie da mielevüttü, heidü müö panemmo täh ruadoh.3Therefore select from among you, brothers, seven men of good report, full of the Holy Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.
A sit müö voimmo anduakseh malitule da Jumalan sanan jagamizele.»4But we will continue steadfastly in prayer and in the ministry of the word.”
Tämä pagin oli mieldü müö kogo joukole. Hüö vallittih Stefan – mies, kudai oli täüzi uskuo da Pühiä Hengie, Hilippü, Prohoru, Nikanor, Timon, Parmen da Miikul, jevreilöin vieroh kiändünüh antiohielaine.5These words pleased the whole multitude. They chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolaus, a proselyte of Antioch;
Heidü tuodih apostoloin edeh, i apostolat molittihes da pandih käit heijän piäle.6whom they set before the apostles. When they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.
Jumalan sana ainos vai levii muadu müö. Opastujien joukko ruttoh liženi Jerusalimas, da monet papitgi roittihes uskon kuundelijoikse.
The word of God increased and the number of the disciples greatly multiplied in Jerusalem. A great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
Stefan oli täüzi hüvüttü da vägie, häi luadii suurii kummii da tunnusruadoloi rahvahan keskes.8Stephen, full of faith and power, performed great wonders and signs among the people.
Sit erähät miehet ruvettih kiistämäh hänenke; ühtet heis kuuluttih, kui sanotah, välläle piästettülöin*a kirineilazien da alek sandrialazien sinagougah, toizet oldih Kilikiespäi da Aaziespäi.9But some of those who were of the synagogue called “The Libertines”, and of the Cyrenians, of the Alexandrians, and of those of Cilicia and Asia arose, disputing with Stephen.
No hüö ei voidu vastustua sidä mielevüttü da Hengen vägie, kudamal pagizi Stefan.10They weren’t able to withstand the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke.
Sit hüö peitoči kuhkutettih erähii miehii sanomah: «Olemmo kuulluh händü pagizemas pahua Moiseih da Jumalah näh.»11Then they secretly induced men to say, “We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God.”
Hüö üllütettih rahvastu, rahvahan vahnimii, zakonanopastajii, sit tuldih käzin Stefanah da viettih händü N'evvokunnan edeh.12They stirred up the people, the elders, and the scribes, and came against him and seized him, then brought him in to the council,
Sinne hüö tuodih miehii, kudamat oigevuolleh viäritettih Stefanua. Hüö sanottih: «Tämä mies heittelemättäh pagizou tädä pühiä kohtua da Zakonua vastah.13and set up false witnesses who said, “This man never stops speaking blasphemous words against this holy place and the law.
Müö kuulimmo, gu häi sanoi, buite Iisus, se Nazariettalaine, hävittäü tämän kohtan da muuttau eländütavat, kudamat Moisei on meile andanuh.»14For we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place, and will change the customs which Moses delivered to us.”
Kaikin, ket istuttih N'evvokunnas, nostettih silmät Stefanah, i hänen rožat ozutettihes heile anhelin nägözekse.
All who sat in the council, fastening their eyes on him, saw his face like it was the face of an angel.
