Chapter 13

Chapter 13

Äijänpäivän pruazniekku oli tulos, i Iisus tiezi, se aigu oli tulluh, konzu Hänel pidi siirdüö täs muailmaspäi Tuatan luo. Iisus oli ainos suvainnuh niilöi, ket oldih Hänen täs muailmas, i loppuh suate suvaičči heidü.1Now before the feast of the Passover, Jesus, knowing that his time had come that he would depart from this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.
Hüö kerävüttih ildazele, i pahalaine jo oli pannuh Juudu Iskariotale, Simonan poijale, südämeh duuman menettiä Iisussua.2During supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him,
Iisus tiezi: Tuatto andoi kai Hänen valdah da Häi on tulluh Jumalan luopäi da nügöi menöü Hänen luo.3Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came from God, and was going to God,
Iisus nouzi stolas, jaksoi piällüssovan, otti pelvahahizen käzipaikan i sidoi sen vüöle.4arose from supper, and laid aside his outer garments. He took a towel and wrapped a towel around his waist.
Sit Häi kuadoi vettü pezoastieh, i rubei pezemäh opastujien jalgoi da pühkimäh niilöi kuivakse vüöl olijal käzipaikal.5Then he poured water into the basin, and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him.
Konzu Iisus tuli Simon-Pedrin luo, se sanoi: «Ižändü, Sinägo pezet minun jallat?»6Then he came to Simon Peter. He said to him, “Lord, do you wash my feet?”
Iisus vastai: «Sidä, midä minä nügöi ruan, sinä et vie ellendä, no müöhembi sinä sen ellendät.»7Jesus answered him, “You don’t know what I am doing now, but you will understand later.”
Pedri sanoi Hänele: «Sinul igänäh ei sua pestä minun jalgoi!» Iisus vastai: «Minä ku en pesse sinuu, sinul ei ole minunke nimidä ühtehistü.»8Peter said to him, “You will never wash my feet!” Jesus answered him, “If I don’t wash you, you have no part with me.”
Sit Simon-Pedri sanoi: «Ižändü, älä peze vai üksii jalgoi, peze i käit da piä.»9Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!”
Täh Iisus vastai: «Se, ken on pezevünnüh, on jo puhtas. Hänel ei pie pestäkseh paiči jalgoi. I tüö oletto puhtahat, vai etto kaikin.»10Jesus said to him, “Someone who has bathed only needs to have his feet washed, but is completely clean. You are clean, but not all of you.”
Iisus, näit, tiezi, ken heis on Hänen menettäi, i sendäh Häi sanoi: «Tüö etto kaikin ole puhtahat.»11For he knew him who would betray him, therefore he said, “You are not all clean.”
Konzu Iisus oli pessüh heijän jallat, pannuh piäle piällüssovan, da istunuhes uvvessah ildazele, Häi sanoi heile: «Ellendättögo tüö, midä minä teile luajiin?12So when he had washed their feet, put his outer garment back on, and sat down again, he said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you?
Tüö kučutto minuu Opastajakse da Ižändäkse, hüvin i luajitto: sehäi minä olengi.13 You call me, ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord.’ You say so correctly, for so I am.
I ku nügoi minä, teijän Ižändü da Opastai, olen pessüh teijän jallat, teilgi pidäü pestä toine toizen jallat.14 If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
Minä luajiin tämän teile, ku ozuttua, kui teil pidäü luadie.15 For I have given you an example, that you should also do as I have done to you.
Toven, toven sanon teile: ei käsküläine ole suurembi omua ižändiä, eigo tüöttü suurembi tüöndäjiä.16 Most certainly I tell you, a servant is not greater than his lord, neither is one who is sent greater than he who sent him.
Ku tämän tiijättö da sen mugah elättö, oletto ozakkahat.17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.
Minä en sano tädä kaikkih teih näh: tiijän kedä olen vallinnuh. No täl Pühän Kirjutuksen sanal pidäü stuaniekseh: 'Mies, kudai süöü Minunke leibiä, roih Minun vastustajakse.'18 I don’t speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen. But that the Scripture may be fulfilled, ‘He who eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me.’
Enne ku ennustus stuanih, minä sanon tämän teile, ku sen stuanivujes tüö uskozitto – minä olen se, ken olen.19 From now on, I tell you before it happens, that when it happens, you may believe that I am he.
Toven, toven sanon teile: ken ottau sen, kenen minä tüönnän, se ottau minun, i ken ottau minun, ottau Hänen, kudai tüöndi minuu.»
Most certainly I tell you, he who receives whomever I send, receives me; and he who receives me, receives him who sent me.”
Nenga pagizi Iisus. Süväintuskis Häi sanoi heile: «Toven, toven sanon teile: üksi teis menettäü minuu.»21When Jesus had said this, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, “Most certainly I tell you that one of you will betray me.”
Opastujat kačottih toine toizeh, ei tiettü, keh näh Häi pagizi.22The disciples looked at one another, perplexed about whom he spoke.
Üksi opastujis, se kudamua Iisus suvaičči, oli ildazel Hänen rinnal.23One of his disciples, whom Jesus loved, was at the table, leaning against Jesus’ breast.
Simon-Pedri vihjai sille opastujale, anna küzüü Iisusal, keh näh Häi pagizou.24Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, and said to him, “Tell us who it is of whom he speaks.”
Opastui painui Iisusan ründähii vaste, i küzüi: «Ižändü, kenbo se on?»25He, leaning back, as he was, on Jesus’ breast, asked him, “Lord, who is it?”
Iisus vastai: «Se on se, kelle painahuu annan tämän leibüpalazen.» Leibüpalazen painahuu Häi andoi sen Juudale, Simon-Iskariotan poijale.26Jesus therefore answered, “It is he to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it.” So when he had dipped the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.
Hedi ku Juudu oli sen suannuh, sattan meni häneh. Iisus sanoi Juudale: «Midä tahtot ruadua, rua teriämbi!»27After the piece of bread, then Satan entered into him. Then Jesus said to him, “What you do, do quickly.”
No niken ildazel olijois ei ellendännüh, mikse Iisus nenga sanoi hänele.28Now nobody at the table knew why he said this to him.
Ku Juudan käzis oli ühtehine kukkaro, erähät duumaittih, Iisus käski hänele ostua midätahto pruazniekakse libo andua köühile.29For some thought, because Judas had the money box, that Jesus said to him, “Buy what things we need for the feast,” or that he should give something to the poor.
Leibüpalan ottahuu Juudu kerras lähti pihale. Oli üö.
Therefore having received that morsel, he went out immediately. It was night.
Konzu Juudu lähti, Iisus sanoi: «Nügöi Ristikanzan Poigu on ülendettü, i Jumal on ülendettü Hänes.31When he had gone out, Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man has been glorified, and God has been glorified in him.
I ku kerran Jumal on ülendettü Hänes, sit i Jumal ülendäü Händü omas ičes, ülendäü Händü ülen terväh.32 If God has been glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and he will glorify him immediately.
Lapset, minul ei hätkie tule olla teijänke. Tüö ečittö minuu, no nügöi minä sanon teile sen, midä minä olen sanonuh jevreilöile: kunne minä menen, sinne tüö etto piäze.33 Little children, I will be with you a little while longer. You will seek me, and as I said to the Jews, ‘Where I am going, you can’t come,’ so now I tell you.
Minä annan teile uvven käskün: suvaikkua toine tostu. Muga kui minä suvaičin teidü, tüö suvaikkua toine tostu.34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another.
Kaikin pietäh teidü minun opastujinnu, ku tüö suvainnetto toine tostu.»35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
«Ižändü, kunnebo Sinä lähtet?» küzüi Simon-Pedri. Iisus vastai: «Kunne minä lähten, sinne sinä minunke et voi nügöi lähtie, no müöhembi tulet.»36Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, where are you going?” Jesus answered, “Where I am going, you can’t follow now, but you will follow afterwards.”
Pedri sanoi: «Ižändü, miksebo nügöi en voi lähtie Sinunke? Minä hengengi annan Sinun puoles.»37Peter said to him, “Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.”
Iisus sanoi hänele: «Sinägo annat hengen minun puoles? Toven, toven sanon sinule: kukoi ei laula enne, ku sinä kolmeh kerdah kieldävüt minus.»
Jesus answered him, “Will you lay down your life for me? Most certainly I tell you, the rooster won’t crow until you have denied me three times.
