JEVANGELII IIVANAN MUGAH | John |
Chapter 8 | Chapter 8 |
| 1a Iisus meni Voipuumäile. | 1but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. |
| 2Aijoi huondeksel Iisus tuli tuaste jumalankodih. Hänes ümbäri rahvastu kerävüi suurin joukkoloin, i Häi istuihes da opasti heidü. | 2Now very early in the morning, he came again into the temple, and all the people came to him. He sat down and taught them. |
| 3Silkeskie zakonanopastajat da fariseit tuodih Hänen luo naine, kudai tavattih vierahan mužikanke maguamas. Hüö pandih händü kaikkien nägevih | 3The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman taken in adultery. Having set her in the middle, |
| 4i sanottih Iisusale: «Opastai, tämä naine tavattih vierahan mužikanke maguamas. | 4they told him, “Teacher, we found this woman in adultery, in the very act. |
| 5Moisei on Zakonas andanuh meile käskün: tämänmoizii pidäü kivittiä surmah suate. Midäbo sinä sanot?» | 5Now in our law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. What then do you say about her?” |
| 6Hüö paistih nenga, ku tahtottih oppie Iisusan mielii da löüdiä midätahto, mis viärittiä Händü.No Iisus kumardui da kirjutti sormel muah. | 6They said this testing him, that they might have something to accuse him of. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with his finger. |
| 7Konzu hüö prižmittih Hänes vastavustu, Häi oigeni i sanoi: «Se teis, ken ei luadinuh riähkiä, lükäkkäh enzimäzen kiven.» | 7But when they continued asking him, he looked up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw the first stone at her.” |
| 8Häi uvvessah kumardui da kirjutti muah. | 8Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground with his finger. |
| 9Ku viärittäjät kuultih Iisusan sanat, hüö lähtiettih iäres toine toizen jälles, vahnimat enzimäzinnü [, ku südämeči tunnustettih oma viärüs]. Sih jäi vai Iisus da naine. | 9They, when they heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning from the oldest, even to the last. Jesus was left alone with the woman where she was, in the middle. |
| 10Iisus oigeni da küzüi hänel: «Naine, kusbo ollah sinun viärittäjät? Eigo niken suudinuh sinuu?» | 10Jesus, standing up, saw her and said, “Woman, where are your accusers? Did no one condemn you?” |
| 11«Ižändü, ei niken», vastai naine. Iisus sanoi: «En minägi suudi sinuu. Mene da enämbi älä luaji riähkiä.»] | 11She said, “No one, Lord.” Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go your way. From now on, sin no more.” |
| 12Iisus tuaste pagizi rahvahanke da sanoi: «Minä olen muailman valgei. Ken noudau minuu, se ei astu pimies, hänel on eloksen valgei.» | 12Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.” |
| 13Fariseit sanottih Hänele: «Sinä iče tovestat iččeh näh, ei sinun sanat olla pädijät.» | 13The Pharisees therefore said to him, “You testify about yourself. Your testimony is not valid.” |
| 14Iisus vastai: «Hos minä iče tovestan iččeh näh, minun sanat ollah tovet, ku tiijän, kuspäi olen tulluh da kunne menen. A tüö etto tiijä, kuspäi minä tulen da kunne menen. | 14Jesus answered them, “Even if I testify about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from, and where I am going; but you don’t know where I came from, or where I am going. |
| 15Tüö suuditto kui ristikanzat, minä en suudi nikedä. | 15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one. |
| 16A ku suudinen, minun suudo on oigei, enhäi minä ole üksin, minunke on Tuatto, kudai minuu tüöndi. | 16 Even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent me. |
| 17Sanotahhäi teijän Zakonasgi, kahten hengen tovestus on pädii. | 17 It’s also written in your law that the testimony of two people is valid. |
| 18Minä sanon toven iččeh näh, dai Tuatto, kudai tüöndi minuu, sanou toven minuh näh.» | 18 I am one who testifies about myself, and the Father who sent me testifies about me.” |
| 19«Kusbo sinun Tuattas on?» küzüttih hüö. Iisus vastai: «Tüö etto tunne minuu, ettogo minun Tuattua. Ku tundizitto minuu, tundizitto Tuatangi.» | 19They said therefore to him, “Where is your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither me nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father also.” |
| 20Tämän paginan Iisus pidi konzu opasti rahvastu jumalankoin pihal d'engankeriändülippahan luo. Niken ei ottanuh Händü kiini, ku Hänen aigu ei vie tulluh. | 20Jesus spoke these words in the treasury, as he taught in the temple. Yet no one arrested him, because his hour had not yet come. |
| 21Toizen kerran rahvahanke paistes Iisus sanoi: «Minä lähten iäre. Sit tüö ečittö minuu, no kuoletto omih riähkih. Kunne minä menen, sinne tüö etto piäze.» | 21Jesus said therefore again to them, “I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sins. Where I go, you can’t come.” |
| 22Jevreilöin vahnimat diivuittihes: «Ei taki häi šuorie iččiedäh tappamah, ku sanou: 'Kunne minä menen, sinne tüö etto piäze'?» | 22The Jews therefore said, “Will he kill himself, because he says, ‘Where I am going, you can’t come’?” |
| 23Iisus sanoi heile: «Tüö oletto lähtenüh alahanpäi, minä – ülähänpäi. Tüö kuulutto täh muailmah, no minä en kuulu täh muailmah. | 23He said to them, “You are from beneath. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world. |
| 24Sendäh sanoin teile: tüö kuoletto omih riähkih. Minä olen se, ken olen*a – ku etto uskone, kuoletto omih riähkih.» | 24 I said therefore to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.” |
| 25«Kenbo sit olet?» küzüttih hüö. Iisus vastai: «Se, kenekse teile olen sanonuh iččie alguu müö. | 25They said therefore to him, “Who are you?” Jesus said to them, “Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning. |
| 26Minul on teis äijü sanottavua da suudittavua. No minun Tüöndäi pagizou tottu, a minä vai sanon muailmale sen, min minä olen kuulluh Hänespäi.» | 26 I have many things to speak and to judge concerning you. However he who sent me is true; and the things which I heard from him, these I say to the world.” |
| 27Iisus pagizi Tuattah näh, ga hüö ei ellendettü. | 27They didn’t understand that he spoke to them about the Father. |
| 28Sikse Iisus jatkoi: «Konzu tüö ülendättö Ristikanzan Poijan, sit tüö ellendättö – minä olen se, ken olen, engo nimidä luaji omas ičespäi, a pagizen muga, kui Tuatto on opastannuh minuu. | 28Jesus therefore said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and I do nothing of myself, but as my Father taught me, I say these things. |
| 29Häi, kudai tüöndi minuu, on minunke. Häi ei jättänüh minuu üksin, ku minä luajin kai Hänen mieldü müö.» | 29 He who sent me is with me. The Father hasn’t left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to him.” |
| 30Konzu Iisus nenga pagizi, äijät uskottih Häneh. | 30As he spoke these things, many believed in him. |
| 31Niilöile jevreilöile, kudamat uskottih nügöi Häneh, Iisus sanoi: «Ku püzünettö minun sanas, tüö toven oletto minun opastujat. | 31Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. |
| 32Tüö opastutto tundemah toven, i tozi piästäü teidü välläle.» | 32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” |
| 33Hüö vastattih Hänele: «Müö olemmo Avraaman jälgeläzet, emmo nikonzu olluh nikenen orjannu. Kuibo sinä voit sanuo: 'Tüö piäzettö välläle'?» | 33They answered him, “We are Abraham’s offspring, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How do you say, ‘You will be made free’?” |
| 34Iisus vastai: «Toven, toven sanon teile: jogahine, ken luadiu riähkiä, se on riähkän orju. | 34Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin. |
| 35Orju ei püzü talois ilmastu igiä, a poigu püzüü. | 35 A bondservant doesn’t live in the house forever. A son remains forever. |
| 36Ku Poigu piästäü teijät, tüö oletto tovessah välläl. | 36 If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. |
| 37Minä tiijän – tüö oletto Avraaman jälgeläzet. I üksikai tüö tahtotto tappua minuu, ku minun sana ei sua teis sijua. | 37 I know that you are Abraham’s offspring, yet you seek to kill me, because my word finds no place in you. |
| 38Minä pagizen sidä, midä olen nähnüh Tuatan luo – a tüö luajitto sidä, midä omas tuatas tiijokse saitto.» | 38 I say the things which I have seen with my Father; and you also do the things which you have seen with your father.” |
| 39Hüö vastattih Iisusale: «Meijän tuatto on Avraam.» Iisus sanoi: «Ku olizitto Avraaman lapset, tüö ruadazitto Avraaman ruadoloi. | 39They answered him, “Our father is Abraham.” Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham. |
| 40No nügöi tüö tahtotto tappua minuu, miestü, kudai teile sanoi toven, sen, min Jumalas kuuli. Avraam ei luadinuh muga. | 40 But now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham didn’t do this. |
| 41Tüö luajitto juuri muga, kui teijän tuatto.»Hüö sanottih: «Müö emmo ole äbärehet. Meil on üksi tuatto, Jumal.» | 41 You do the works of your father.” They said to him, “We were not born of sexual immorality. We have one Father, God.” |
| 42Iisus vastai: «Ku Jumal olis teijän Tuatto, tüö suvaiččizitto minuu, ku olen lähtenüh Jumalaspäi da tulluh tänne. En minä omal himol ole tulluh, a Häi tüöndi minuu. | 42Therefore Jesus said to them, “If God were your father, you would love me, for I came out and have come from God. For I haven’t come of myself, but he sent me. |
| 43Miksebo tüö etto ellendä minun paginua? Sendäh, ku etto voi ni kuunnella, midä minä sanon. | 43 Why don’t you understand my speech? Because you can’t hear my word. |
| 44Tüö oletto lähtenüh pahalazespäi. Häi on teijän tuatto, i hänen mieldü müö tüö tahtotto ruadua. Sattan on alguu müö olluh piäniekku. Häi on loitton tovespäi, sidä häi ei tunne. Konzu häi kielastelou, häi luadiu omua iččie müö, ku on kielastelii da kielastuksen tuatto. | 44 You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and the father of lies. |
| 45No minuu tüö etto usko, ku minä pagizen tottu. | 45 But because I tell the truth, you don’t believe me. |
| 46Olengo minä luadinuh riähkiä? Voibigo ken teis sen ozuttua? A ku paissen tottu, miksebo etto usko minuu? | 46 Which of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me? |
| 47Se, ken on Jumalaspäi, kuulou midä Jumal pagizou. Tüö etto kuule, ku etto ole Jumalaspäi.» | 47 He who is of God hears the words of God. For this cause you don’t hear, because you are not of God.” |
| 48Jevreit sanottih Iisusale: «Emmogo müö tottu pagize, ku sanommo: sinä olet samarielaine, i sinus on karu. Eigo muga olla dielot?» | 48Then the Jews answered him, “Don’t we say well that you are a Samaritan, and have a demon?” |
| 49Iisus vastai: «Ei minus ole karuu. Pien kunnivos Tuattua, a tüö huiguatto minuu. | 49Jesus answered, “I don’t have a demon, but I honor my Father and you dishonor me. |
| 50En eči kunnivuo ičele, no on toine, kudai eččiü da suudiu. | 50 But I don’t seek my own glory. There is one who seeks and judges. |
| 51Toven, toven sanon teile: ken noudau minun sanua, se ni igänäh ei näi surmua.» | 51 Most certainly, I tell you, if a person keeps my word, he will never see death.” |
| 52Jevreit sanottih Hänele: «Nügöi müö näimmö: sinus on karu. Avraam on kuolluh, dai Jumalan iänenkandajat, a sinä sanot: 'Ken noudau minun sanua, sille ni igänäh ei tule surmu vastah.' | 52Then the Jews said to him, “Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham died, as did the prophets; and you say, ‘If a man keeps my word, he will never taste of death.’ |
| 53Sinägo sit olet suurembi kui meijän Avraam-tuatto? Häi on kuolluh, kuolluot ollah i Jumalan iänenkandajat. Kenennübo sit iččie piet?» | 53Are you greater than our father, Abraham, who died? The prophets died. Who do you make yourself out to be?” |
| 54Iisus vastai: «Ku minä iče ülendännen omua kunnivuo, se kunnivo ei ole nimittumas hinnas. No minun kunnivuo ülendäü Tuatto, Häi, kudamua tüö sanotto omakse Jumalakse. | 54Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say that he is our God. |
| 55Tüö etto ole opastunnuh Händü tiedämäh, a minä tiijän Händü. Ku sanozin: 'En tiijä Händü', olizin kielastelii kui tüö. No minä tiijän Händü da novvan Hänen sanua. | 55 You have not known him, but I know him. If I said, ‘I don’t know him,’ I would be like you, a liar. But I know him and keep his word. |
| 56Teijän tuatto, Avraam, oli ihastuksis, ku roihes nägemäh minun päivän. Häi nägi sen i ihastelih.» | 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day. He saw it, and was glad.” |
| 57Jevreit sanottih Hänele: «Et ole ni viijenkümmenen vuvven igäine, a buiteku olet nähnüh Avraamua!» | 57The Jews therefore said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old! Have you seen Abraham?” |
| 58Iisus vastai: «Toven, toven sanon teile: enne ku Avraam tuli täh muailmah, minä jo olin.» | 58Jesus said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, before Abraham came into existence, I AM. |
| 59Sit hüö allettih kerätä kivii, ku tahtottih lükkie Häneh, no Iisus vältüi heijän silmispäi i lähti jumalankoispäi. | 59Therefore they took up stones to throw at him, but Jesus was hidden, and went out of the temple, having gone through the middle of them, and so passed by. |
