JEVANGELII IIVANAN MUGAH | John |
Chapter 7 | Chapter 7 |
| 1Tämän jälles Iisus käveli eri puolil Galilein muadu. Juudien mual Häi ei tahtonuh kävellä, ku jevreit tahtottih tappua Händü. | 1After these things, Jesus was walking in Galilee, for he wouldn’t walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him. |
| 2Jevreilöin Lehtikovan pruazniekku oli lähäl. | 2Now the feast of the Jews, the Feast of Booths, was at hand. |
| 3Iisusan vellet sanottih Hänele: «Mene Juudieh, sit sinun opastujatgi suahah nähtä, mittumii ruadoloi sinä ruat. | 3His brothers therefore said to him, “Depart from here and go into Judea, that your disciples also may see your works which you do. |
| 4Eihäi niken pie peitos omii ruadoloi, ku tahtonou iče olla nägevis. Kerran on n'eruo nengozeh, ozuta muailmale mi miehii olet.» | 4For no one does anything in secret while he seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, reveal yourself to the world.” |
| 5Velletgi ei uskottu Häneh. | 5For even his brothers didn’t believe in him. |
| 6Iisus sanoi heile: «Nügöi vie ei ole minun aigu – a teile pädöü mi aigoi i olgah. | 6Jesus therefore said to them, “My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready. |
| 7Teidü muailmu ei voi vihata, a minuu se vihuau, ku minä tovestan – sen ruavot ollah pahat. | 7 The world can’t hate you, but it hates me, because I testify about it, that its works are evil. |
| 8Mengiä vai tüö pruazniekale. Minä en vie lähte tälle pruazniekale, ku minun aigu ei vie tulluh.» | 8 You go up to the feast. I am not yet going up to this feast, because my time is not yet fulfilled.” |
| 9Nenga Häi sanoi i jäi Galileih. | 9Having said these things to them, he stayed in Galilee. |
| 10No konzu vellet lähtiettih pruazniekale, Iisusgi lähti sinne, ei rahvahan nähten, a peitoči. | 10But when his brothers had gone up to the feast, then he also went up, not publicly, but as it were in secret. |
| 11Pruazniekan aigua jevreilöin vahnimat ečittih Händü i küzeltih: «Kusbo se mies on?» | 11The Jews therefore sought him at the feast, and said, “Where is he?” |
| 12Rahvahan keskes oli äijü kiistua Häneh näh. Ühtet sanottih: «Häi on hüvä mies», toizet sanottih: «Ei ole, häi smuttiu rahvastu.» | 12There was much murmuring among the multitudes concerning him. Some said, “He is a good man.” Others said, “Not so, but he leads the multitude astray.” |
| 13Silmis niken ei ruohtinuh paista Häneh näh, ku kaikin varattih jevreilöin vahnimii. | 13Yet no one spoke openly of him for fear of the Jews. |
| 14Konzu pruazniekku oli puolivälis, Iisus nouzi jumalankodih i rubei opastamah. | 14But when it was now the middle of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple and taught. |
| 15Jevreilöin vahnimat diivittihes i sanottih: «Kuibo tai opastumatoi mies voibi tiediä Pühät Kirjutukset?» | 15The Jews therefore marveled, saying, “How does this man know letters, having never been educated?” |
| 16Iisus sanoi heile: «Se, mih minä opastan, ei ole minus lähtenüh, a on Hänes lähtenüh, kudai tüöndi minuu. | 16Jesus therefore answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me. |
| 17Ken tahtou noudua Hänen tahtuo, se piäzöü perile, ongo minun opastus Jumalas lähtenüh vai pagizengo omas ičespäi. | 17 If anyone desires to do his will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is from God, or if I am speaking from myself. |
| 18Se, ken sanou omii duumii, tahtou ičelleh kunnivuo. No se, ken tahtou kunnivuo omale tüöndäjäle, pagizou tottu, hänen sanois ei ole kielastustu. | 18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. |
| 19Andoihäi Moisei teile Zakonan. No ni üksi teis ei novva sidä. Miksebo tüö tahtotto tappua minuu?» | 19 Didn’t Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill me?” |
| 20Rahvas sanottih: «Sinus on paganhengi. Kenbo sinuu tahtou tappua?» | 20The multitude answered, “You have a demon! Who seeks to kill you?” |
| 21Iisus sanoi vastah: «Minä luajiin vaiku ühten ruavon, i tüö kaikin sidä kummeksitto. | 21Jesus answered them, “I did one work and you all marvel because of it. |
| 22Moisei andoi teile ümbärileikkuandan – tovel sanuo, se ei ole lähtenüh Moiseispäi, a tuattoloin tuattoloispäi – i sen tüö luajitto suovattangi. | 22 Moses has given you circumcision (not that it is of Moses, but of the fathers), and on the Sabbath you circumcise a boy. |
| 23Ku kerran ristikanzale luajitah ümbärileikkavus suovattangi, ku ei rikkuo Moisein Zakonua, ga miksebo sit tüö oletto vihazet minun piäle, ku minä suovattan piästin ristikanzan ünnäh? | 23 If a boy receives circumcision on the Sabbath, that the law of Moses may not be broken, are you angry with me, because I made a man completely healthy on the Sabbath? |
| 24Älgiä suudikkua vai piälpäi kaččojen, a suudikkua oigiel suvvol.» | 24 Don’t judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment.” |
| 25Erähät jerusalimalazet sanottih: «Eigo tämä olle se, kudamua tahtotah tappua? | 25Therefore some of them of Jerusalem said, “Isn’t this he whom they seek to kill? |
| 26Kačokkua, tuas häi pagizou ilmi, i hänele niken nimidä ei sano: oldanehgo valdumiehet toven suadu tiediä häi on Messii? | 26Behold, he speaks openly, and they say nothing to him. Can it be that the rulers indeed know that this is truly the Christ? |
| 27Täh mieheh näh müö tiijämmö, kugalaine häi on. A ku Messii tulou, niken ei tiijä, kugalaine Häi on.» | 27However we know where this man comes from, but when the Christ comes, no one will know where he comes from.” |
| 28Konzu Iisus opasti jumalankois, Häi kirgui: «Tüö tunnetto minuu da tiijättö, kugalaine olen. En tulluh omas tahtos. Minuu tüöndi Häi, kudai on tozi. Tüö etto Händü tunne, | 28Jesus therefore cried out in the temple, teaching and saying, “You both know me, and know where I am from. I have not come of myself, but he who sent me is true, whom you don’t know. |
| 29no minä tunnen Händü, ku olen tulluh Hänen luopäi da ku Häi on tüöndänüh minuu.» | 29 I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me.” |
| 30Piämiehil oli mieli ottua Händü kiini, no niken ei ruohtinuh mennä käzin, ku Hänen aigu ei vie tulluh. | 30They sought therefore to take him; but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come. |
| 31Äijät ristikanzat üksikai uskottih Häneh. Hüö sanottih: «Konzu Messii tulou, luadinougo Häi enämbän tunnusruadoloi, miku tämä on luadinuh?» | 31But of the multitude, many believed in him. They said, “When the Christ comes, he won’t do more signs than those which this man has done, will he?” |
| 32Ku fariseit kuultih rahvastu pagizemas täh luaduh Iisussah näh, hüö da ülimäzet papit tüöttih omii miehii ottamah Händü kiini. | 32The Pharisees heard the multitude murmuring these things concerning him, and the chief priests and the Pharisees sent officers to arrest him. |
| 33Iisus sanoi: «Vähäzen aigua minä vie olen teijänke. Sit menen Hänen luo, kudai tüöndi minuu. | 33Then Jesus said, “I will be with you a little while longer, then I go to him who sent me. |
| 34Tüö ečittö minuu, vai etto lövvä; i tüö etto piäze sinne, kus minä olen.» | 34 You will seek me, and won’t find me. You can’t come where I am.” |
| 35Jevreilöin vahnimat küzeltih toine toizel: «Kunnebo häi tahtou mennä? Kus müö händü emmo vois löüdiä? Šuorinnougo häi lähtemäh meigäläzien luo, kudamat eletäh gretsieläzien keskes? Ruvennougo häi sie opastamah gretsieläzii? | 35The Jews therefore said among themselves, “Where will this man go that we won’t find him? Will he go to the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks? |
| 36Midäbo häi tahtoi sanuo sanoil: 'Tüö ečittö minuu, no etto lövvä', da vie 'Tüö etto piäze sinne, kus minä olen'?» | 36What is this word that he said, ‘You will seek me, and won’t find me;’ and ‘Where I am, you can’t come’?” |
| 37Pruazniekan jälgimäzennü, suurennu päivännü Iisus seizoi da kirgui: «Ku kedä juotatannou, se tulgah minun luo da juogah. | 37Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink! |
| 38Ken uskou minuh, sen südämes, kui on sanottu Pühis Kirjutuksis, ruvetah virduamah elävän vien jovet.» | 38 He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.” |
| 39Tämän Häi sanoi Pühäh Hengeh näh, kudai suadas Häneh uskojat. Pühä Hengi, näit, vie ei olluh tulluh, ku Iisussua vie ei olluh ülendettü. | 39But he said this about the Spirit, which those believing in him were to receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus wasn’t yet glorified. |
| 40Iisusan sanoin kuultuu monet rahvahan keskes sanottih: «Tämä toven on se Jumalan iänenkandai.» | 40Many of the multitude therefore, when they heard these words, said, “This is truly the prophet.” |
| 41Ühtet sanottih: «Häi on Messii.» No toizet arbailtih: «Ei taki Messii Galileispäi tule! | 41Others said, “This is the Christ.” But some said, “What, does the Christ come out of Galilee? |
| 42Pühis Kirjutuksishäi sanotah: Messii on Davidan jälgeläine da tulou Viflejemaspäi, Davidan kodilinnaspäi.» | 42Hasn’t the Scripture said that the Christ comes of the offspring of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was?” |
| 43Nenga rahvas ruvettih kiistelemäh keskenäh Häneh näh. | 43So a division arose in the multitude because of him. |
| 44Erähät tahtottih ottua Händü kiini, no niken ei mennüh Häneh käzin. | 44Some of them would have arrested him, but no one laid hands on him. |
| 45Miehet, kudamat oli tüöttü ottamah kiini Iisussua, tuldih järilleh ülimäzien pappiloin da fariseiloin luo, i net küzüttih: «Miksebo etto tuonnuh händü?» | 45The officers therefore came to the chief priests and Pharisees, and they said to them, “Why didn’t you bring him?” |
| 46Miehet sanottih: «Ni üksi ristikanzu igänäh ei paissuh muga, kui se mies pagizou.» | 46The officers answered, “No man ever spoke like this man!” |
| 47Sit fariseit sanottih: «Annoittogo tüögi vediä iččie üöksüksih? | 47The Pharisees therefore answered them, “You aren’t also led astray, are you? |
| 48Ongo kentahto valdumiehis uskonuh häneh, libo hos üksi farisei? | 48Have any of the rulers believed in him, or of the Pharisees? |
| 49Nuat rahvas ei tietä nimidä Zakonas – kaikin ollah kirotut!» | 49But this multitude that doesn’t know the law is cursed.” |
| 50Sit Nikodim, üksi fariseilois, kudai oli jo enne oli [üöl] käünüh Iisusan luo, sanoi: | 50Nicodemus (he who came to him by night, being one of them) said to them, |
| 51«Eihäi meijän Zakonan mugah nikedä sua suudie, kuni ei küzeltänne händü da ei tiijustetanne, midä häi on ruadanuh.» | 51“Does our law judge a man, unless it first hears from him personally and knows what he does?” |
| 52No toizet sanottih hänele: «Toinah sinägi olet Galileispäi! Luve Pühii Kirjutuksii, sit suat tiediä, Galileispäi ei tule Jumalan iänenkandajua.»[ | 52They answered him, “Are you also from Galilee? Search, and see that no prophet has arisen out of Galilee.” |
| 53Kaikin lähtiettih kodih, | 53Everyone went to his own house, |
