JEVANGELII IIVANAN MUGAH

John

Chapter 5

Chapter 5

Jälles tädä oli jevreilöin pruazniekku, i Iisus lähti Jerusalimah.1After these things, there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
Jerusalimas Lammasveriälöin lähäl oli kezoikohtu, kudamua jevrein kielel sanotah Vifezdu. Sen rannoil oli viizi pačaskatostu,2Now in Jerusalem by the sheep gate, there is a pool, which is called in Hebrew, “Bethesda”, having five porches.
i sie virui suuri joukko voimattomii: sogieloi, ramboi da hullattuloi [, kudamat vuotettih vien kuohundua.3In these lay a great multitude of those who were sick, blind, lame, or paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water;
Anheli, näit, aijoitellen heitüi kezoikohtah i pani vien kuohumah; i ken enzimäzekse ehtii vien kuohunduaigua mennä sinne, se piäzi tervehekse, olgah häi mittumantahto tavvin vallas].4for an angel went down at certain times into the pool and stirred up the water. Whoever stepped in first after the stirring of the water was healed of whatever disease he had.
Sie oli mies, kudai virui alasijas kolmekümmen kaheksa vuottu.5A certain man was there who had been sick for thirty-eight years.
Iisus dogadii händü sie virumas da tiezi, ku häi on ammui voimattomannu. Iisus küzüi: «Tahtotgo piästä tervehekse?»6When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had been sick for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to be made well?”
Voimatoi sanoi: «Ižändü, minul ei ole nikedä, ken auttas piästä kezoikohtah sil aigua, konzu vezi kuohahtah. Ainos konzu koittelen sinne mennä, kentahto toine ennittäü minuu.»7The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, but while I’m coming, another steps down before me.”
Iisus sanoi hänele: «Nouze, ota magavosija da astu.»8Jesus said to him, “Arise, take up your mat, and walk.”
Mies kerras rodih tervehekse, otti magavosijan da astui. No se oli suovattupäivü.9Immediately, the man was made well, and took up his mat and walked. Now it was the Sabbath on that day.
Sendäh jevreilöin vahnimat sanottih piästetüle: «Tänäpäi on suovattu, sinul ei sua kandua magavosijua.»10So the Jews said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath. It is not lawful for you to carry the mat.”
Mies sanoi heile vastah: «Se, ken luadii minun tervehekse, sanoi minule: 'Ota magavosija da astu.'»11He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your mat and walk.’”
Sit jevreilöin vahnimat küzüttih: «Kenbo on se mies, kudai käski sinule ottua magavosijan da astuo?»12Then they asked him, “Who is the man who said to you, ‘Take up your mat and walk’?”
No tervehekse piässüh ei tiedänüh, ken se oli, ku Iisus oli kavonnuh rahvasjoukon keskeh.13But he who was healed didn’t know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a crowd being in the place.
Jälles sidä se mies tuli Iisusale vastah jumalankois. Iisus sanoi miehele: «Sinä nügöi olet terveh. Älä enämbi luaji riähkiä, ku sinule ei rodies midätahto pahembua.»14Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “Behold, you are made well. Sin no more, so that nothing worse happens to you.”
Mies lähti siepäi i sanoi jevreilöin vahnimile, hänen piästäi oli Iisus.15The man went away, and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.
Tämän täh jevreilöin vahnimat ruvettih kaikelleh painamah Iisussua, ku Häi suovattan luadii nengomua.16For this cause the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill him, because he did these things on the Sabbath.
No Iisus sanoi heile: «Minun Tuatto ainos ruadau, ruan minägi.»17But Jesus answered them, “My Father is still working, so I am working, too.”
Tämä vie enämbäl ližäi heile himuo ottua Iisusal hengi. Häi vet rikoi ei vaiku suovattukäskün, a sen ližäkse sanoi Jumalua omakse Tuatakse da sil luadii iččiedäh Jumalan verdazekse.
For this cause therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill him, because he not only broke the Sabbath, but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
Iisus sanoi jevreilöin vahnimile nenga: «Toven, toven sanon teile: ei Poigu voi nimidä luadie ičessäh, Häi luadiu vai sidä, midä nägöü Tuattua luadimas. Midä Tuatto luadiu, sidä i Poigu luadiu.19Jesus therefore answered them, “Most certainly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father doing. For whatever things he does, these the Son also does likewise.
Tuatto suvaiččou Poigua i ozuttau Hänele kai, midä iče luadiu; Häi ozuttau Poijale vie suurembiigi ruadoloi, moizii, kudamii kummeksitto.20 For the Father has affection for the Son, and shows him all things that he himself does. He will show him greater works than these, that you may marvel.
Kui Tuatto nostau kuolluot da andau heile elaijan, mugai Poigu andau elaijan, kelle Häi tahtou.21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom he desires.
Tuatto ei suudi nikedä, a on andanuh kaiken suvvonvallan Poijale,22 For the Father judges no one, but he has given all judgment to the Son,
ku kaikin kunnivoittas Poigua muga, kui kunnivoijah Tuattua. Ken ei kunnivoiče Poigua, se ei kunnivoiče Tuattuagi, kudai Händü tüöndi.23 that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who doesn’t honor the Son doesn’t honor the Father who sent him.
Toven, toven sanon teile: ken kuundelou minun sanua da uskou minun Tüöndäjäh, sil on ilmanigäine elos. Häi ei rodei suudittavakse, a on jo piässüh surmaspäi elokseh.24 “Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.
Toven, toven sanon teile: roih aigu – i se on jo nügöi – konzu kuolluot kuultah Jumalan Poijan iäni. Net, kudamat kuultah, ruvetah elämäh,25 Most certainly I tell you, the hour comes, and now is, when the dead will hear the Son of God’s voice; and those who hear will live.
sikse gu kui Tuatto on eloksen andai, mugai Poijas luadii eloksen andajan26 For as the Father has life in himself, even so he gave to the Son also to have life in himself.
da andoi Hänele i suvvonvallan, ku Häi on Ristikanzan Poigu.27 He also gave him authority to execute judgment, because he is a son of man.
Älgiä kummeksikkua tädä! Tulou aigu, konzu kaikin kalmoisolijat kuultah Jumalan Poijan iäni28 Don’t marvel at this, for the hour comes in which all who are in the tombs will hear his voice,
da nostah kalmoispäi: hüviä luadinuot – ilmanigäzeh elokseh, pahua luadinuot – suudittavakse.»
and will come out; those who have done good, to the resurrection of life; and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment.
«Omas ičes minä en voi luadie nimidä. Minä suudin sidä müö, midä kuulen, i minun suudo on oigei, ku en aja omua tahtuo, a minun Tüöndäjän tahtuo ajan.30 I can of myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous; because I don’t seek my own will, but the will of my Father who sent me.
Ku iče sanonen toven iččeh näh, minun sanat ei pätä.31 “If I testify about myself, my witness is not valid.
No minuh näh tovendau toine, i minä tiijän: sanat, kudamat Häi sanou minuh näh, pätäh.32 It is another who testifies about me. I know that the testimony which he testifies about me is true.
Tüö tüönnittö miehii Iivanan luo, i häi tovesti minuh näh.33 You have sent to John, and he has testified to the truth.
No en minä ota ristikanzan tovendustu, vai sanon tämän, ku tüö piäzizittö.34 But the testimony which I receive is not from man. However, I say these things that you may be saved.
Iivan oli palai, pastattai lampu, no tüö vai pikoi kodvazen tahtoitto ihastellakseh hänen tulel.35 He was the burning and shining lamp, and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light.
Minul on tovendus, kudai on Iivanan tovendustu tovembi: net ruavot, kudamat Tuatto lepii minule ruattavakse. Nämä ruavot, kudamii minä ruan, tovendetah Tuattua minun Tüöndäjäkse.36 But the testimony which I have is greater than that of John, for the works which the Father gave me to accomplish, the very works that I do, testify about me, that the Father has sent me.
Iče Tuattogi, minun Tüöndäi, tovesti minuh näh. Tüö nikonzu etto kuulluh Hänen iändü, ettogo nähnüh Hänen rožii,37 The Father himself, who sent me, has testified about me. You have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his form.
ei ni Hänen sana püzü teis, ku tüö etto usko Hänen tüöttüh.38 You don’t have his word living in you; because you don’t believe him whom he sent.
Tottu, tüö tarkazeh luvetto Pühii Kirjutuksii, ku duumaičetto löüdiä niilöis ilmanigäzen eloksen – juuri nethäi sanotah toven minuh näh.39 “You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me.
No tüö etto tahto tulla minun luo elostu suamah.40 Yet you will not come to me, that you may have life.
Ei minule pie kunnivuo rahvahaspäi.41 I don’t receive glory from men.
Minä tiijän teidü: tüö etto suvaiče Jumalua.42 But I know you, that you don’t have God’s love in yourselves.
Minä tulin Tuatan nimes, i tüö etto vastua minuu. No ku ken toine tullou omas nimes, händü tüö vastuatto.43 I have come in my Father’s name, and you don’t receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him.
Kuibo tüö voizitto uskuo, ku toine toizespäi vuotatto kunnivuo, a etto eči sidä kunnivuo, kudai tulou ühtes Hänes, kudai on ainavo Jumal!44 How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you don’t seek the glory that comes from the only God?
Älgiä duumaikkua, minä rubien viärittämäh teidü minun Tuatan ies. Teijän viärittäi on Moisei, häi, kudamah tüö piettö nad'oužan.45 “Don’t think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you, even Moses, on whom you have set your hope.
Ku tüö uskozitto Moiseidu, uskozitto minuugi, ku minuh näh häi on kirjutannuh.46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote about me.
No ku tüö etto usko hänen kirjutuksii, kuibo tüö voizitto uskuo minun sanoi!»47 But if you don’t believe his writings, how will you believe my words?”
