| 16Iisus sanoi hänele: «Mene kuču tänne ukkuodas.» | 16Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.” |
| 17«Ei minul ole ukkuo», vastai naine. Iisus sanoi: «Toven sanoit: ei sinul ole ukkuo. | 17The woman answered, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You said well, ‘I have no husband,’ |
| 18Viizi ukkuo sinul oli, i se, kudamanke nügöi elät, ei ole sinun ukko. Täs pagizit tottu.» | 18 for you have had five husbands; and he whom you now have is not your husband. This you have said truly.” |
| 19Naine sanoi: «Hüvä ristikanzu, minä näin, sinä olet Jumalan iänenkandai. | 19The woman said to him, “Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet. |
| 20Meijän tuatat kumardeltihes da molittihes Jumalale täl mäil, a tüö, jevreit, sanotto: Jerusalimas on se kohtu, kus pidäü moliekseh.» | 20Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.” |
| 21Iisus vastai: «Usko minuu, naine, tulou aigu, konzu tüö etto molei Tuatale täl mäil, ettogo Jerusalimas. | 21Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour comes, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, will you worship the Father. |
| 22Tüö kumardelettokseh moizele, kudamua iče etto tunne. Müö kumardelemmokseh Hänele, kudaman tunnemmo, kačo, ku piäzendü tulou jevreilöispäi. | 22 You worship that which you don’t know. We worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews. |

| 25Naine sanoi: «Messii tulou, sen minä tiijän.» – Messii se on Hristos. – «Konzu Häi tulou, Häi sanou meile kaiken.» | 25The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah comes, he who is called Christ. When he has come, he will declare to us all things.” |
| 26Iisus sanoi: «Minä se olen, minä, kudai pagizen sinunke täs.» | 26Jesus said to her, “I am he, the one who speaks to you.” |

| 30Rahvas lähtiettih linnaspäi i tuldih Iisusan luo. | 30They went out of the city, and were coming to him. |
| 31Sil välil opastujat sanottih Iisusale: «Ravvi, tule süömäh.» | 31In the meanwhile, the disciples urged him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.” |

| 37Täh pädöü sanondu: 'Üksi külväü, toine leikkuau.' | 37 For in this the saying is true, ‘One sows, and another reaps.’ |
| 38Minä tüönnin teidü leikkuamah sidä, min täh tüö etto nähnüh vaivua. Toizet ruattih ruado, no tüö piäzettö leikkuamah sualistu, kudaman kazvattajes hüö nähtih vaivua.» | 38 I sent you to reap that for which you haven’t labored. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.” |
| 39Äijät sen samarielazen linnan eläjis uskottih Iisussah, ku kuultih naizen sanat: «Häi saneli minule kai, midä minä olen ruadanuh.» | 39From that city many of the Samaritans believed in him because of the word of the woman, who testified, “He told me everything that I did.” |
| 40Konzu samarielazet tuldih Iisusan luo, hüö pokoroittihes Hänele jiähä heijän luo, i Häi jäi sinne kahtekse päiviä. | 40So when the Samaritans came to him, they begged him to stay with them. He stayed there two days. |
