| 31Iisus sanoi sih: «Eihäi tervehile pie piästäjiä, piästäi pidäü voimattomile. | 31Jesus answered them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do. |
| 32Minä en tulluh kuččumah oigieloi, a tulin kuččumah riähkähizii, anna hüö hüllättäs riähkät da kiännüttäs Jumalan puoleh.» | 32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” |
| 33Iisusale sanottih: «Iivanan opastujat puaksuh pühitetäh da molitahes, mugai fariseiloin opastujat, a Sinun opastujat süvväh da juvvah.» | 33They said to him, “Why do John’s disciples often fast and pray, likewise also the disciples of the Pharisees, but yours eat and drink?” |
| 34Iisus vastai heile arbaituksel: «Etto taki tüö käske svuad'burahvahale pühittiä, kuni sulhaine on heijänke? | 34He said to them, “Can you make the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them? |
| 35A roih vie moine aigu, konzu sulhaine heil otetah iäre. Niilöin päivien aigah hüö pühitetäh.» | 35 But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them. Then they will fast in those days.” |
| 36Vie Iisus saneli heile arbaituspaginan: «Niken ei leikkua paikkua uvves sovas da ombele sidä vahnah sobah, eiga uuzi soba menöü sudre, da ni vahnah sobah ei päi uvves otettu paikku. | 36He also told a parable to them. “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old garment, or else he will tear the new, and also the piece from the new will not match the old. |
| 37I niken ei vala uuttu viinua vahnoih puzuloih, uuzi viinuhäi puhkuau puzut, viinu valuu muah dai puzut mennäh sudre. | 37 No one puts new wine into old wine skins, or else the new wine will burst the skins, and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed. |
| 38Ei, uuzi viinu pidäü valua uuzih puzuloih. | 38 But new wine must be put into fresh wine skins, and both are preserved. |
| 39Niken, ken liennou juonnuh vahnua viinua, ei tahto uuttu. Häi sanou: 'Vahnu on hüvä.'» | 39 No man having drunk old wine immediately desires new, for he says, ‘The old is better.’ ” |
