Chapter 4

Chapter 4

Iisus tuli müös opastamah järven rannale. Hänes ümbäri kerävüi muga äijü rahvastu, ga Hänel pidi mennä veneheh. Häi istui venehes järvel, a rahvasjoukko oli rannal.1Again he began to teach by the seaside. A great multitude was gathered to him, so that he entered into a boat in the sea, and sat down. All the multitude were on the land by the sea.
Häi opasti heidü äijäh dieloh arbaituspaginoin vuoh.Opastajes Häi sanoi heile nenga:2He taught them many things in parables, and told them in his teaching,
«Kuulkua! Mies lähti külvämäh.3 “Listen! Behold, the farmer went out to sow,
Konzu häi külvi, erähät siemenis kirvottih dorogupieleh, i linnut tuldih da süödih jüvät.4 and as he sowed, some seed fell by the road, and the birds came and devoured it.
Erähät kirvottih kivikkökohtah, kus oli vähä muadu. Terväh net nostih orahale, ku ei olluh muadu muga süväh.5 Others fell on the rocky ground, where it had little soil, and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of soil.
No konzu nouzi päiväine, se polti orahat, i net n'äivistüttih, ku niilöil ei olluh juurii.6 When the sun had risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
Erähät kirvottih ohtoloin keskeh, ohtoit kazvettih da salvattih orahat, ei niilöis suadu sualistu.7 Others fell among the thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
No erähät jüvis kirvottih hüväh muah. Net nostih orahale, kazvettih i annettih sualis, kudai kolmekümmen, kudai kuuzikümmen, kudai sada jüviä.»8 Others fell into the good ground, and yielded fruit, growing up and increasing. Some produced thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times as much.”
I Häi sanoi: «Kel on korvat, se kuulkah!»
He said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear.”
Konzu Iisus jäi üksinäh, kaksitostu opastujua da muut Hänenke olijat küzüttih nämih arbaituspaginoih näh.10When he was alone, those who were around him with the twelve asked him about the parables.
Häi sanoi heile: «Teile on annettu tiediä Jumalan valdukunnan peittodielo, no toizile, ulgopuolizile, kai tulou arbaituspaginoin kauti,11He said to them, “To you is given the mystery of God’s Kingdom, but to those who are outside, all things are done in parables,

ku hüö kaččojen kačottas,
no ei nähtäs,
kuunnelten kuultas,
no ei ellendettäs,
da ku hüö ei kiännüttäs Jumalan puoleh
da ei suadas prosken'n'ua.»
that ‘seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest perhaps they should turn again, and their sins should be forgiven them.’ ”
Sit Iisus sanoi: «Ku tüö etto ellendä tädä arbaituspaginua, ga voittogo ellendiä toizet arbaituspaginat?13He said to them, “Don’t you understand this parable? How will you understand all of the parables?
Külväi külväü sanan.14 The farmer sows the word.
Dorogupieleh külvettü siemen on rahvahah näh, kudamat kuultah sana, no tulou sattan da koppuau sen, mi heih oli külvettü.15 The ones by the road are the ones where the word is sown; and when they have heard, immediately Satan comes, and takes away the word which has been sown in them.
Külvö kivikkökohtah on niilöih näh, kudamat sanan kuultuu kerras otetah se vastah hüväl mielel.16 These in the same way are those who are sown on the rocky places, who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with joy.
No heis ei ole juurdu ičes, sendäh hüö kestetäh vai kodvaine, a ku tulou ahtistus libo painandu sanan täh, sit hüö kerras hüllätäh se sana.17 They have no root in themselves, but are short-lived. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they stumble.
Sit on siemen, kudai külvettih ohtoloin keskeh. Se on niilöih näh, kudamat kuultah sana,18 Others are those who are sown among the thorns. These are those who have heard the word,
no kudamis sana ei tuo andimii, ku tämän muailman huolet, eloloin suvaičendu da muut mielitahtot heijän südämeh puuttuhuu täpätäh sana.19 and the cares of this age, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
A hüväh muah külvämine on ristikanzoih näh, kudamat kuultah sana da otetah se vastah. Hüö annetah hüvä sualis, kudai kolmenkümmenen-, kudai kuvvenkümmenen-, kudai suankerdaine.»
Those which were sown on the good ground are those who hear the word, and accept it, and bear fruit, some thirty times, some sixty times, and some one hundred times.”
Iisus sanoi: «Eihäi lampua tuvva pertih vakan libo magavosijan alle pandavakse? Nägevihhäi se pannah!21He said to them, “Is the lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Isn’t it put on a stand?
Ku mi ollou peitos, ga vai sikse, ku jiäviekseh. Ku mi ollou peitettü, ga vai sikse, ku tulla nägevih.22 For there is nothing hidden, except that it should be made known; neither was anything made secret, but that it should come to light.
Kel on korvat, se kuulkah!»23 If any man has ears to hear, let him hear.”
Vie Häi sanoi heile: «Otakkua vardeh, midä kuuletto. Mittumal miäräl tüö miäriättö, moizel miärätäh teile da vie ližätäh.24He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you, and more will be given to you who hear.
Kel on, sille annetah, kel ei ole, sil otetah segi, mi hänel on.»
For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he who doesn’t have, even that which he has will be taken away from him.”
Iisus sanoi: «Tämänmoine on Jumalan valdu. Mies külväü siemenen muah.26He said, “God’s Kingdom is as if a man should cast seed on the earth,
Häi üöl maguau, a päiväl nouzou, a siemen orastau da kazvau, a häi ni tiijä ei, kui.27 and should sleep and rise night and day, and the seed should spring up and grow, though he doesn’t know how.
Mua andau sualehen ičessäh, enzimäi korren, sit tähkän, sit tävven jüvän tähkäh.28 For the earth bears fruit: first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.
Konzu vil'l'u on sualistunnuh, kerras häi tüöndäü leikkuajat, ku leikkuanduaigu on tulluh.»
But when the fruit is ripe, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”
Sit Iisus sanoi: «Mih vie müö voizimmo verrata Jumalan valdua? Mittumal arbaituspaginal voizimmo sanella sih näh?30He said, “How will we liken God’s Kingdom? Or with what parable will we illustrate it?
Se on ku gorčitsan siemen. Konzu gorčitsan siemen külvetäh muah, se on muailman siemenis kaikis pienin,31 It’s like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, though it is less than all the seeds that are on the earth,
no muah puuttuhuu, se nouzou da kazvau kaikkii kodipellon kazvoksii suurembakse. Sit kazvetah moizet suuret oksat, ga taivahan linduzet voijah luadie pezii niilöin pilvekseh.»32 yet when it is sown, grows up, and becomes greater than all the herbs, and puts out great branches, so that the birds of the sky can lodge under its shadow.”
Äijil nengomil arbaituspaginoil Häi pagizi rahvahanke sen verran, min hüö voidih kuunnella.33With many such parables he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear it.
Arbaituspaginoittah Häi ei paissuh heijänke, no omile opastujile sellitti kai, konzu hüö oldih keskenäh.
Without a parable he didn’t speak to them; but privately to his own disciples he explained everything.
Illan tulduu sennü päivännü Iisus sanoi opastujile: «Lähtekkiämmö toizele rannale.»35On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, “Let’s go over to the other side.”
Opastujat jätettih rahvasjoukko, a iče mendih veneheh. Iisus jo istui venehes. Heijänke lähtiettih toizetgi venehet.36Leaving the multitude, they took him with them, even as he was, in the boat. Other small boats were also with him.
Järvel nouzi suuri bauhu, allot perrettihes veneheh, i se oli jo täüttümäs viel.37A big wind storm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so much that the boat was already filled.
A Iisus magai venehen peräs, pielus piänpohjis. Opastujat nostatettih Händü i sanottih: «Opastai, etgo ni huoles ole, müö uppuommo!»38He himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion, and they woke him up, and told him, “Teacher, don’t you care that we are dying?”
Iisus nouzi, kieldi tuuldu da sanoi järvele: «Azetu, ole hil'l'ah!» Tuuli hil'l'eni, i rodih ihan tüüni.39He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” The wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Iisus sanoi heile: «Miksebo oletto nengozet varačut? Eigo teil viegi ole uskuo?»40He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? How is it that you have no faith?”
Suuri varavo otti heidü valdah, i hüö küzeltih toine toizel: «Mibo miehii tämä on, ku Händü kuunnellah tuuli dai allot?»41They were greatly afraid, and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
