| 1Исусыс висьталiс нылö: «Былись баита тiянлö: эмöсь эстöн сулалiссез коласын нiя, кöдна кувтöдззаныс адззыласö Енлiсь вынöн локтан ыждалöмсö». | 1He said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste death until they see God’s Kingdom come with power.” |
| 2Квать лун бöртi Исусыс босьтiс сьöрас Петраöс, Яковöс да Иванöс. Сiя ныкöт öтнаныскöт кайис вылын керöсö. Сэтчин сiя вежсис ны одзын. | 2After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John, and brought them up onto a high mountain privately by themselves, and he was changed into another form in front of them. |
| 3Сылöн паськöмыс пондiс дзардны, лоис чочкомся-чочком, кыдз му вылын некин оз вермы чочкомтыны. | 3His clothing became glistening, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them. |
| 4Ны одзö мыччисис Мосейкöт Илля. Нiя баитiсö Исусыскöт. | 4Elijah and Moses appeared to them, and they were talking with Jesus. |
| 5Петраыс висьталiс Исусыслö: «Велöтiсь, бур миянлö татöн. Керам куим чом: öтiкö тэныт, öтiкö Мосейыслö да öтiкö Илляыслö». | 5Peter answered Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let’s make three tents: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” |
| 6Петраыс эз тöд, мый баитны, эд велöтчиссес öддьöн повзисö. | 6For he didn’t know what to say, for they were very afraid. |
| 7Мыччисис кымöр, вевттис быдöннысö, и сэтчинсянь кылiс шы: «Эта менам муса Зон. Сiйö кывзö». | 7A cloud came, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, “This is my beloved Son. Listen to him.” |
| 8Сэк жö велöтчиссес видзöтiсö гöгöр, но некинöс Исусысся эз казялö. | 8Suddenly looking around, they saw no one with them any more, except Jesus only. |
| 9Керöсiсь лэдзчытöн Исусыс эз тшöкты висьтасьны некинлö адззылöмыс йылiсь сэтчöдз. кытчöдз Мортлöн Зон оз ловзьы кулöммезiсь. | 9As they were coming down from the mountain, he commanded them that they should tell no one what things they had seen, until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead. |
| 10Нiя сiдз керисö, но юасисö öтамöдныслiсь: «Кыдз вежöртны – «ловзьыны кулöммезiсь»?» | 10They kept this saying to themselves, questioning what the “rising from the dead” meant. |
| 11Велöтчиссес юалiсö Исусыслiсь: «Мыля Енлöн гижöтö велöтiссес баитöны, Иллялö пö колö локны одзжык?» | 11They asked him, saying, “Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?” |
| 12Сiя шуис нылö: «Былись, Илляыслö ковсяс локны одзжык да быдöс лöсьöтны. А мыля гижöм, мый Мортлöн Зонлö ковсяс уна мырсьыны-пессьыны да лоны ёрдöмöн? | 12He said to them, “Elijah indeed comes first, and restores all things. How is it written about the Son of Man, that he should suffer many things and be despised? |
| 13Ме висьтала тiянлö: Илляыс локтiс ни, сылö керисö кöсйöмныс сьöртi. Сiдз гижöм сы йылiсь». | 13 But I tell you that Elijah has come, and they have also done to him whatever they wanted to, even as it is written about him.” |
| 14Исусыс, Петраыс, Яковыс да Иваныс локтiсö мöдiк велöтчиссес дынö, казялiсö ны дынiсь уна отирöс да Енлöн гижöтö велöтiссезöс, кöдна етшасисö ныкöт. | 14Coming to the disciples, he saw a great multitude around them, and scribes questioning them. |
| 15Кöр отирыс казялiсö Исуссö, чуймисö да перыта сибöтчисö баитны сыкöт. | 15Immediately all the multitude, when they saw him, were greatly amazed, and running to him, greeted him. |
| 16Исусыс юалiс: «Мый йылiсь етшасят?» | 16He asked the scribes, “What are you asking them?” |
| 17Отирыс коласiсь öтiк морт висьталiс паныт: «Велöтiсь, ме вайöтi тэ дынö ассим зонöс, кöдö видзö кывтöм лёк лов. | 17One of the multitude answered, “Teacher, I brought to you my son, who has a mute spirit; |
| 18Кöр лёк лолыс кутö сiйö да чапкö сiйö му вылö, зонö лэдзö öмсис быг, йирö пиннесö да тувдö. Ме тшöктi тэнат велöтчиссезлö вашöтны лёк ловсö, но нiя эз вермö сiйö вашöтны». | 18and wherever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams at the mouth, and grinds his teeth, and wastes away. I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they weren’t able.” |
| 19Исусыс паныт горöтчис: «О, эскытöм отир! Кытчöдз меным колö лоны тiянкöт? Кытчöдз ме верма видзны тiянöс? Вайöтö зонкасö ме дынö». | 19He answered him, “Unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to me.” |
| 20Сiйö вайöтiсö Исусыс дынö. Кöр лёк лолыс казялiс Исуссö, пыркнитiс зонкасö. Мöдыс усис му вылас, туплясис да лэдзис öмсис быг. | 20They brought him to him, and when he saw him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground, wallowing and foaming at the mouth. |
| 21Исусыс юалiс зонкаыс айлiсь: «Важын я эттшöмыс сыкöт лоис?» Сiя шуис: «Челядькадсянь. | 21He asked his father, “How long has it been since this has come to him?” He said, “From childhood. |
| 22Унаись лёк лолыс чапкалiс зонöс биö да ваö, мед вийны сiйö. Верман кö, сьöлöмсянят отсав миянлö». | 22Often it has cast him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us, and help us.” |
| 23Исусыс висьталiс сылö: «Верман кö! Быдöс позьö керны эскисьлö». | 23Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” |
| 24Сэк жö зонкаыслöн айыс горöтiс: «Эска! Отсав меным эскытöмлö». | 24Immediately the father of the child cried out with tears, “I believe. Help my unbelief!” |
| 25Исусыс казялiс котöрöн чукöртчись отирöс да öлiс лёк ловсö: «Кывтöм да пельтöм лёк лов, ме тшöкта тэнö петны зонкаыс пытшкись. Сэсся эн пыр сы пытшкö». | 25When Jesus saw that a multitude came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again!” |
| 26Лёк лов горöтiс, бура вартiс зонкасö да петiс. Зонкаыс тувдiс. Отирыс шуисö: «Сiя кулiс». | 26After crying out and convulsing him greatly, it came out of him. The boy became like one dead, so much that most of them said, “He is dead.” |
| 27Но Исусыс босьтiс зонкасö киöттяс да лэбтiс, мöдыс чеччис. | 27But Jesus took him by the hand, and raised him up; and he arose. |
| 28Керкуö пырöм бöрын Исусыслöн велöтчиссес юасисö сылiсь аскöттяс: «Мыля мийö эг вермö вашöтны лёк ловсö?» | 28When he had come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we cast it out?” |
| 29Исусыс висьталiс нылö: «Эттшöммесö позьö вашöтны дзир Енлö кеймöмöн». | 29He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing, except by prayer and fasting.” |
| 30Исусыс велöтчиссескöт петiс сэтчинiсь да мунiс Галилей пыр. Сiя кöсйис, мед некин эз тöд сылiсь мунöмсö. | 30They went out from there, and passed through Galilee. He didn’t want anyone to know it. |
| 31Эд сылö колiс велöтны ассис велöтчиссесö. Исусыс висьталiс нылö: «Мортлöн Зон лоас сетöм отир киэзö, нiя виясö сiйö. Сiя кулас, но куим лун бöртi ловзяс». | 31For he was teaching his disciples, and said to them, “The Son of Man is being handed over to the hands of men, and they will kill him; and when he is killed, on the third day he will rise again.” |
| 32Велöтчиссес эз вежöртö висьталöмсö, а юасьны сылiсь полiсö. | 32But they didn’t understand the saying, and were afraid to ask him. |
| 33Нiя локтiсö Капернаум карö. Гортас Исусыс юалiс велöтчиссеслiсь: «Мый йылiсь тiйö баитiт туй вылас?» | 33He came to Capernaum, and when he was in the house he asked them, “What were you arguing among yourselves on the way?” |
| 34Нiя чöлiсö, сiдз кыдз туй вылас баитiсö ас коласаныс, кин медыджыт. | 34But they were silent, for they had disputed with one another on the way about who was the greatest. |
| 35Исусыс пуксис, корис дынас даскык велöтчисьсö да шуис нылö: «Кин кöсйö лоны медодззаöн, ась лоö быдöнныс коласын медбöрьяöн да быдöнныслö отсалiсьöн». | 35He sat down, and called the twelve; and he said to them, “If any man wants to be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all.” |
| 36Сiя босьтiс кага, сувтöтiс сiйö ны шöрö, сывтыртiс сiйö да шуис нылö: | 36He took a little child, and set him in the middle of them. Taking him in his arms, he said to them, |
| 37«Кин босьтö ас дынас эттшöм öтiк кага ме понда, сiя босьтö ас дынас менö. Кин босьтö менö ас дынас, сiя оз босьт менö, босьтö менö ыстiсьöс». | 37 “Whoever receives one such little child in my name, receives me, and whoever receives me, doesn’t receive me, but him who sent me.” |
| 38Иван шуис: «Велöтiсь, мийö адззылiм мортöс, кöда тэнат нимöн вашöтiс лёк ловвесö. Мийö öлiм сiйö, эд миянкöт этiя мортыс оз ветлöт». | 38John said to him, “Teacher, we saw someone who doesn’t follow us casting out demons in your name; and we forbade him, because he doesn’t follow us.” |
| 39Исусыс висьталiс: «Эд öлö сiйö. Некин оз вермы сэк жö лёкöтны менö, керис кö менам нимöн адззывтöмтор. | 39But Jesus said, “Don’t forbid him, for there is no one who will do a mighty work in my name, and be able quickly to speak evil of me. |
| 40Кин абу миянлö паныт, сiя миян дор. | 40 For whoever is not against us is on our side. |
| 41Былись баита тiянлö: оз öшты ассис донсö сiя, кин юкталас тiянöс ваöн, сiдз кыдз тiйö Кристослöн». | 41 For whoever will give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because you are Christ’s, most certainly I tell you, he will in no way lose his reward. |
| 42«Кин грекö воштö меным эскись челядь коласiсь öтiкöс, сылö буржык, öшöтiсö кö голя вылас сылö изын да шупкисö саридзö. | 42 Whoever will cause one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if he were thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around his neck. |
| 43Киыт кö грекö воштö тэнö, керышт сiйö. Буржык тэныт пырны оланас китöг, нежели кык киöн мунны адö, куслытöм биö, | 43 If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having your two hands to go into Gehenna, into the unquenchable fire, |
| 44кытöн «нылöн гагыс оз кув, да биыс оз куслы». | 44 ‘where their worm doesn’t die, and the fire is not quenched.’ |
| 45Кокыт кö грекö воштö тэнö, керышт сiйö. Буржык тэныт пырны оланас коктöг, нежели кык кокöн лоны чапкöмöн адö, | 45 If your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life lame, rather than having your two feet to be cast into Gehenna, into the fire that will never be quenched— |
| 46кытöн «нылöн гагыс оз кув, да биыс оз куслы»). | 46 ‘where their worm doesn’t die, and the fire is not quenched.’ |
| 47Синыт кö грекö воштö тэнö, нетшкöвт сiйö. Буржык тэныт пырны Енлöн ыждалöминö синтöг, нежели кык синöн лоны чапкöмöн адö, | 47 If your eye causes you to stumble, cast it out. It is better for you to enter into God’s Kingdom with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna of fire, |
| 48кытöн «нылöн гагыс оз кув, да биыс оз куслы». | 48 ‘where their worm doesn’t die, and the fire is not quenched.’ |
| 49Быдыс биöн соласяс. | 49 For everyone will be salted with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt. |
| 50Солыс – буртор. Но лоас кö солыс дуб, позьö я сiйö солавны? Мед лоас солыс тiян пытшкын, да лöня олö ас коласаныт». | 50 Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, with what will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.” |
