| 1Vellet, himottais, jotta työ tietäsijä toven Pyhän Henken lahjoista. | 1Now concerning spiritual things, brothers, I don’t want you to be ignorant. |
| 2Työ muissatta, jotta konša vielä olija toisenvierosie, teitä niin kuin väkisin ois vetän mykkien valehjumalien luo. | 2You know that when you were heathen, you were led away to those mute idols, however you might be led. |
| 3Šentäh tietäkkyä, jotta ei kenkänä, ken pakajau Jumalan Henken vallašša, voi šanuo: «Iisussa on kirottu». Šamoin kenkänä ei voi šanuo: «Iisussa on Hospoti», muitein kun vain Pyhän Henken vallašša. | 3Therefore I make known to you that no man speaking by God’s Spirit says, “Jesus is accursed.” No one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” but by the Holy Spirit. |

| 6Tiän henkelliset lahjat ollah monenmoiset, vain Jumala, ken meissä kaikissa kaiken vaikuttau, on šama. | 6There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all. |
| 7Hiän antau Henken jiäviytyö jokahisešša eri tapah, kuitenki yhtehisekši hyövykši. | 7But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all. |
| 8Henki antau yhellä viisahuonšanat, toisella tiijonšanat. | 8For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; |
| 9Eryähällä še šama Henki antau erityisen ušon, toisella parentamisen lahjat. | 9to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the same Spirit; |
| 10Yksi šuau voiman luatie ihmehruatoja, toini tuou viestijä Jumalalta. Eryähällä on lahja erottua, mi on Jumalan Henkeštä lähtösin ta mi ei. | 14Eihän runkuo ole luajittu yheštä ošašta vain monešta. | 14For the body is not one member, but many. |
| 15Vaikka jalka šanois: «Kun kerran en ole käsi, en kuulu runkoh», niin eikö še kuiteski kuulu runkoh? | 15If the foot would say, “Because I’m not the hand, I’m not part of the body,” it is not therefore not part of the body. |
| 16Ta kun korva šanois: «Kun kerran en ole šilmä, en kuulu runkoh», niin eikö še kuiteski kuulu runkoh? | 16If the ear would say, “Because I’m not the eye, I’m not part of the body,” it’s not therefore not part of the body. |
| 17Kun koko runko ois vain yksistäh šilmä, niin milläpä še kuulis? Tahi još še ois yksistäh korva, niin milläpä nuuhella? | 17If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the smelling be? |
| 18Jumala kumminki ašetti runkoh kaikki eri ošat, niin kuin Hiän tahto. | 18But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body, just as he desired. |
| 19Kun kaikki ois yhtä ta šamua ošua, niin oisko šilloin olomašša mitänä runkuo? | 19If they were all one member, where would the body be? |
| 20Runkon ošie on kuitenki monta, a runko on vain yksi. | 20But now they are many members, but one body. |
| 21Ei šilmä voi šanuo kiällä: «Mie en tarviče šilma». Yhellä keinoin piä ei voi šanuo jaloilla: «Mie en tarviče teitä». | 21The eye can’t tell the hand, “I have no need for you,” or again the head to the feet, “I have no need for you.” |
| 22Myö emmä voi elyä ilmain niitä runkonošie, mit näytetäh muita vähäväkisemmiltä. | 22No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. |
| 23Ta niitä runkonošie, kumpasie emmä pie kovuan arvošša, myö peitämmä hyvin. | 23Those parts of the body which we think to be less honorable, on those we bestow more abundant honor; and our unpresentable parts have more abundant propriety; |
| 24A niitä miän ošie, kumpasie on huikie näyttyä, myö peitämmä vielä paremmin. Niitä runkonošie, kumpasie emmä häpiele, ei tarviče peittyä. Kun Jumala yhisti ošat runkokši, Hiän anto vähempiarvosilla ošilla šuuremman kunnivon. | 24whereas our presentable parts have no such need. But God composed the body together, giving more abundant honor to the inferior part, |
| 25Šilloin runkošša ei šynny riitoja, a šen ošat yheššä huolehitah toini toisešta. | 25that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. |
| 26Kun yksi runkonoša käršiy, šen kera käršitäh kaikki muutki. Ta kun yksi oša šuau kunnivuo, šen kera iluol'l'ah kaikki muutki. | 26When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. When one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. |
| 27Työ oletta Hristossan runko, ta jokahini teistä on tämän runkon oša. | 27Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. |
| 28Jumala pani uškojakuntah enšistäh yksie apostoliloiksi, toisie pani viessintuojiksi, kolmanšie pani opaštajiksi. | 30Ei kaikilla ole parentamisen lahjoja. Ta ei kaikki paissa tuntomattomilla kielillä, eikä jokahini voi šelittyä näitä pakinoja. | 30Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with various languages? Do all interpret? |
| 31Staraikua šuaha ičellänä kaikista šuurimpie lahjoja! A nyt mie näytän teilä kaikista parahimman tien. | 31But earnestly desire the best gifts. Moreover, I show a most excellent way to you. |
