| 1Moniehan päivän piäštä Iisussa tuaš mäni Kapernaumih. Ihmiset kuultih, jotta Hiän on koissa. | 1When he entered again into Capernaum after some days, it was heard that he was in the house. |

| 17Iisussa kuuli šen ta šano: «Eihän tervehet tarvita liäkärie, vain läsijät. En Mie tullun kuččumah oikiemielisie, vain riähkähisie, jotta hyö jätettäis riähäššä elämini ta kiännyttäis Jumalan puoleh.» | 17When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” |

| 19Iisussa vaštasi heilä: «Voijahkoš hiävierahat pyhittyä, konša šulhani vielä on hiän kera? Kuni šulhani on hiän kera, niin ei hyö voija pyhittyä. | 19Jesus said to them, “Can the groomsmen fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they can’t fast. |
| 20Ka vielä tullah päivät, konša šulhani otetah heiltä pois. Šilloin, niinä päivinä, hyö pyhitetäh. | 20 But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast in that day. |
| 21Kenkänä ei ompele vanhah vuattieh paikkua uuvvešta kankahašta. Uuši paikkahan, konša kučistuu, revittäy vanhan vuattien, ta reikä tulou entistä šuuremmakši. | 21 No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, or else the patch shrinks and the new tears away from the old, and a worse hole is made. |
| 22Eikä kenkänä pane uutta viinua käymäh vanhoih nahkavärččilöih, šentäh kun nuori viina revittäy ne. Šiitä viina valuu muah ta värčit pilauvutah. Uuši viina pitäy kuatua uuših värččilöih.» | 22 No one puts new wine into old wineskins, or else the new wine will burst the skins, and the wine pours out, and the skins will be destroyed; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins.” |
| 23Kerran šuovattana Iisussa käveli vil'l'apellon poikki. Hänen opaššettavat ruvettih matatešša katkomah tähkie. | 23He was going on the Sabbath day through the grain fields, and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of grain. |
| 24Šiitä farisseit šanottih Iisussalla: «Kačo nyt! Mintähpä Šiun opaššettavat ruatah šemmoista, mitä šuovattana ei šua ruatua?» | 24The Pharisees said to him, “Behold, why do they do that which is not lawful on the Sabbath day?” |
