| 1Šiitä Iisussan luo tuli Jerusalimista farisseita ta sakonanopaštajie. | 1Then Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem, saying, |
| 2Hyö kyšyttih: «Mintäh Šiun opaššettavat rikotah tuattoloilta perittyjä tapoja? Hyöhän ei šyömäh ruvetešša peššä käsieh*a.» | 2“Why do your disciples disobey the tradition of the elders? For they don’t wash their hands when they eat bread.” |
| 3Iisussa vaštasi heilä: «Mintähpä työ iče omilla perintötavoilla rikotta Jumalan käškyö? | 3He answered them, “Why do you also disobey the commandment of God because of your tradition? |
| 4Onhan Jumala käšken: ‘Kunnivoita tuattuoš ta muamuoš’ ta ‘Ken kironnou tuattuoh tahi muamuoh, še šuakah kuritukšekši kuoloman’. | 4 For God commanded, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.’ |
| 5A työ opaššatta, jotta kun ken šanonou omalla tuatolla tahi muamolla: ‘Mitä šiun piti miušta šuaha, šen olen luvannun uhrilahjakši’, | 5 But you say, ‘Whoever may tell his father or his mother, “Whatever help you might otherwise have gotten from me is a gift devoted to God,” |
| 6šilloin hänen ei tarviče enämpi auttua tuattuoh tahi muamuoh. Tällä keinoin työ omalla perintötavalla šaita tyhjäkši Jumalan käšyn. | 6 he shall not honor his father or mother.’ You have made the commandment of God void because of your tradition. |
| 7Työ pyhiksi luatiutujat! Oikein še Jumalan viessintuoja Isaija einušti teistä. Šiinä einuššukšešša ollah nämä Jumalan šanat: | 7 You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying, |
| 8 – Tämä kanša kunnivoittau Milma huulillah ta kiittäy Milma kielelläh, no šen šytän on loittuona Miušta. | 8 ‘These people draw near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. |
| 9Tyhjäh hyö Miula kumarrellah, kun opaššetah omie opaššukšie, ihmisien kekšimie käškyjä.» | 9 And in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrine rules made by men.’ ” |
| 10Iisussa kučču ihmisjoukon luokšeh ta šano: «Kuunnelkua ta malttakkua. | 10He summoned the multitude, and said to them, “Hear, and understand. |
| 11Ei ihmistä šua pakanakši še, mi mänöy šuušta šiämeh. Še ihmisen šuau pakanakši, mi tulou hänen šuušta uloš.» | 11 That which enters into the mouth doesn’t defile the man; but that which proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.” |
| 12Šilloin opaššettavat tultih Iisussan luo ta šanottih: «Tiijätkö, jotta farisseit šiännyttih Šiun piällä, kun pakasit noin?» | 12Then the disciples came, and said to him, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?” |
| 13Hiän vaštasi: «Joka taimi, mi ei ole Miun Taivahaisen Tuaton issuttama, kisotah juurineh pois. | 13But he answered, “Every plant which my heavenly Father didn’t plant will be uprooted. |
| 14Elkyä välittäkkyä farisseiloista, hyö ollah šokeita šokeijen kulettajie. Kun šokie kulettau šokieta, niin molommat lanketah hautah.» | 14 Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. If the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.” |
| 15Petri šano Hänellä: «Šelitä meilä, mitä merkitäh ne šanat, mistä farisseit šiännyttih». | 15Peter answered him, “Explain the parable to us.” |
| 16Iisussa vaštasi: «Noin tolkuttomieko työki vielä oletta? | 16So Jesus said, “Do you also still not understand? |
| 17Ettäkö malta, jotta mi mänöy šuušta šiämeh, še šolahtau vaččah, ta šieltä še uloštuu? | 17 Don’t you understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the belly, and then out of the body? |
| 18Ka mi šuušta tulou, še on lähten šytämeštä ta še šuau ihmisen pakanakši. | 18 But the things which proceed out of the mouth come out of the heart, and they defile the man. |
| 19Juštih šytämeštä lähetäh pahat ajatukšet, tappamiset, parikuntapettämini ta muu huoruinta, varaššukšet, viärät tovissukšet ta pahat pakinat toisista. | 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies. |
| 20Tämä kaikki šuau ihmisen pakanakši, vain ei pešömättömillä käsillä šyömini.» | 20 These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands doesn’t defile the man.” |
| 21Iisussa läksi šieltä ta mäni Tiiran ta Sidonin šeutuloilla. | 21Jesus went out from there, and withdrew into the region of Tyre and Sidon. |
| 22Šielä tuli eryäš hananilaini naini, šen šeuvun eläjä, ta karju: «Hospoti, Tuavitan Poika, armaha milma! Piessa muokkuau lujašti miun tytärtä.» | 22Behold, a Canaanite woman came out from those borders, and cried, saying, “Have mercy on me, Lord, you son of David! My daughter is severely possessed by a demon!” |
| 23Iisussa ei vaššannun naisella mitänä.Opaššettavat tultih Iisussan luo ta šanottih: «Toimita hänet pois. Hiän aštuu miän jäleššä ta karjuu.» | 23But he answered her not a word. His disciples came and begged him, saying, “Send her away; for she cries after us.” |
| 24Iisussa vaštasi: «Ei Milma työnnetty muijen kuin Israelin rahvahan katonehien lampahien luo». | 24But he answered, “I wasn’t sent to anyone but the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” |
| 25Kuitenki naini tuli lähemmäkši, heittäyty muah Iisussan eteh ta šano: «Hospoti, auta milma!» | 25But she came and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, help me.” |
| 26Vain Iisussa šano hänellä: «Ei ole oikein ottua lapšilta leipä ta luuvva še koiranpentuloilla». | 26But he answered, “It is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” |
| 27Naini vaštasi: «Oikiešša olet Hospoti, no ka šuahah še koiratki šyyvvä murusie, mit kirvotah isännän stolalta». | 27But she said, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.” |
| 28Šilloin Iisussa šano hänellä: «Šuuri on šiun uško, naini! Käykäh šiula niin kuin tahot.» Šiitä šuate tytär oli terveh. | 28Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, great is your faith! Be it done to you even as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that hour. |
| 29Iisussa läksi šieltä, aštu Galileijanjärven rantua ta nousi vuaralla. Konša Hiän istu šielä, | 29Jesus departed from there, and came near to the sea of Galilee; and he went up into the mountain, and sat there. |
| 30Hänen luo tuli rahvašta šuurin joukkoloin. Heilä oli matašša rampoja, šokeita, vaivasie, mykkie ta äijän muita kipiehisie. | 32Iisussa kučču opaššettavat luokšeh ta šano: «Miula on suali näitä ihmisie. Hyö on oltu Miun luona jo kolme päivyä eikä heilä ole mitänä šyötävyä. En taho työntyä heitä tiältä näläššä, jotta hyö ei vaivuttais matalla.» | 32Jesus summoned his disciples and said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I don’t want to send them away fasting, or they might faint on the way.” |
| 33Opaššettavat šanottih Hänellä: «Mistä myö tiälä elämättömäššä muašša šuamma niin äijän leipyä, jotta voisima ruokkie tämmösen rahvašjoukon?» | 33The disciples said to him, “Where should we get so many loaves in a deserted place as to satisfy so great a multitude?” |
| 34«Montako leipyä teilä on?» Iisussa kyšy. «Šeiččemen ta monieš kalanmotti», hyö vaššattih. | 34Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven, and a few small fish.” |
| 35Iisussa käški rahvahan istuutuo muah. | 35He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground; |
| 36Šiitä Hiän otti ne šeiččemen leipyä ta kalat, passipoitti Jumalua, katkuali leivät ta anto palat opaššettavilla. Opaššettavat juattih ne ihmisillä. | 36and he took the seven loaves and the fish. He gave thanks and broke them, and gave to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes. |
| 37Kaikin šyötih kyllitellein, ta loppusie paloja kerättih šeiččemen täyttä vakkua. | 37They all ate, and were filled. They took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces that were left over. |
| 38Šyömäššä oli nellätuhatta mieštä, ta vielä naisie ta lapšie. | 38Those who ate were four thousand men, in addition to women and children. |
| 39Šiitä Iisussa toimitti rahvašjoukon matkah, aštu veneheh ta tuli Magdalan šeuvulla. | 39Then he sent away the multitudes, got into the boat, and came into the borders of Magdala. |
*a 15:2 Farisseiloilla ta sakonanopaštajilla oli Iisussan aikah äijän uškonnollisie pešuja, ta toisie hyö niise pakotettih niitä täyttämäh. Ne ei kuitenki oltu Jumalan käškyjä.
