Chapter 6

Chapter 6

Lapsed, kundelkat ičetoi kazvatajid Ižandan täht, nece om teiden velg.1Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
«Ole hüvä ičeiž tatale da mamale,» — se om ezmäine käsk, kudambanke om anttud toivotuz:2“Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with a promise:
«siloi sinei linneb hüvä i void hätken eläda mal.»3“that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.”
A tö, tatad, algat rändütagoi ičetoi lapsid, a kazvatagat heid opeten da nevoden Ižandan tahton mödhe.
You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
Orjad, kundelkat ičetoi maižid ižandoid. Varaikat da arvostagat heid puhthal südäimel, kut Hristosad.5Servants, be obedient to those who according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ,
Tehkat nece ei vaiše heiden aigan i sikš, miše olda heile mel'he, a tehkat kut Hristosan orjad, ked puhthas südäimespäi tegeba Jumalan tahton mödhe.6not in the way of service only when eyes are on you, as men pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,
Služigat kaikes südäimespäi, kuti Ižandale, a ei kuti toižile mehile.7with good will doing service as to the Lord, and not to men,
Muštkat: jogahine, ken tegeb midä-ni hüväd, sab Ižandaspäi siš rados paukan, olgha hän orj vai valdakaz.8knowing that whatever good thing each one does, he will receive the same good again from the Lord, whether he is bound or free.
Muga tö-ki, ižandad, pidägat ningažo ičetoi orjid, algat olgoi heile lujas kovad. Ved' tö tedat, miše teil i heil om taivhas üks' Ižand, hän ei valiče mehiden keskes.
You masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with him.
I lopuks sanun teile, minun velled: vahvištugat Ižandas, vägestugat hänen sures vägespäi.10Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.
Pangat päle kaik Jumalan tora-azeged, miše voižit vastustada kaik lemboin manitused.11Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
I ved' mö em torakoi mehidenke, a nägumatomiden valdoidenke da vägidenke, necen pimedan mirun valdanpidäjidenke da taivhanaluižiden pahoiden hengvaldoidenke.12For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Sikš otkat kaik Jumalan tora-azeged, miše jügedan päivän tö oližit vaumhed vastustamha pahad da jäižit seižmaha, konz kaik om tehtud.13Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Seiškat vahvas! Pangat vöks tozi da päle tozioiktusen raudpaid,14Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
a kengikš — taht mända sanelemha hüväd vestid kožmusen polhe.15and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace,
A ezmäi kaiked, otkat kaičimeks uskond, sen abul voit sambutada pahuden palajad noled.16above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.
Pangat pähä šlemaks päzutand i otkat kädehe Hengen sur' veič — Jumalan sana.17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
Tehkat kaik nece loičendanke. Loičkat kaiken aigan Hengel anttud vägel. Olgat herkhil i loičkat väzumata kaikiden jumalanuskojiden polhe.18with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints:
Loičkat mugažo minun-ki polhe, miše minei tuližiba oiktad sanad mel'he, konz pagižeškanden. Loičkat, miše voižin rohktas sanelda hüvän vestin peitazjoid.19on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the Good News,
Hüvän vestin sanelendale mindai om oigendanu Hristos, a nügüd' sen tagut olen türmas. Loičkat, miše voižin pagišta varaidmata, kut minei pidab-ki.
for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
A miše tö-ki tedaižit, kut minun azjad oma i midä minä radan, teidennoks tuleb Tihik, minun armaz uskondvel'l' da Ižandan uskoline käskabunik. Hän starinoičeb teile kaiken.21But that you also may know my affairs, how I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful servant in the Lord, will make known to you all things.
Oigendan händast teidennoks sen täht, miše hän sanuiži, kut meiden azjad oma, da tüništoitaiži teid.22I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know our state and that he may comfort your hearts.
Mirud, armastust i uskondad vellile Tataspäi Jumalaspäi da Ižandaspäi Iisusas Hristosaspäi!23Peace be to the brothers, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Armoid Jumalaspäi nenile, ked armastaba meiden Ižandad Iisusad Hristosad igähižel armastusel! Amin'.24Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love. Amen.
