EZMÄINE KIRJEINE KORINFALAIŽILE | 1 Corinthians |
Chapter 10 | Chapter 10 |
| 1Velled, tahtoižin johtutada teile: kaik meiden tatad oliba pil'ven al, i kaik hö mäniba meres läbi. | 1Now I would not have you ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; |
| 2Heid kaikid valatadihe pil'ves da meres Moisejan mehikš. | 2and were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea; |
| 3Hö kaik söiba sidä-žo üht hengelišt sömäd | 3and all ate the same spiritual food; |
| 4da joiba sidä-žo üht hengelišt jomad. Ved' hö joiba siš hengeližes kal'l'os, kudamb oli heidenke; i nece kal'l' oli Hristos. | 4and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ. |
| 5No enambad heišpäi ei olnugoi Jumalale mel'he, sikš saiba surman rahvahatomas mas. | 5However with most of them, God was not well pleased, for they were overthrown in the wilderness. |
| 6Nece tegihe meile ozuteseks: meile ei pida navedida pahad, muga kut hö tegiba. | 6Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. |
| 7Algat kumarkatoiš tühjile jumaloile, kut tegiba necen erased meiden ezitatoišpäi. Ved' om kirjutadud: «Hö ištuihe sömha da jomha, a sid' libuiba kargaidamha ümbri ičeze jumaloiš.» | 7Don’t be idolaters, as some of them were. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.” |
| 8Meile ei pidaiži eläda vedeluzelod, kut eliba erased heišpäi; heid koli ühtel päiväl kaks'kümne koume tuhad henged. | 8Let’s not commit sexual immorality, as some of them committed, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell. |
| 9Meile ei pida mugažo kodvda Hristosan tirpandad, kut tegiba erased heišpäi, a sid' koliba küiden kokaidusihe. | 9Let’s not test Christ, as some of them tested, and perished by the serpents. |
| 10Algat äjad buraikoi, kut buraižiba erased heišpäi; heid rikoi surman angel. | 10Don’t grumble, as some of them also grumbled, and perished by the destroyer. |
| 11Kaik, midä tegihe heile, om kuti ozutez, i om kirjutadud openduseks meile; ved' mö eläm jäl'gmäšt aigad. | 11Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come. |
| 12Se, ken uskob, miše seižub vahvas, ka pidägahas, miše ei langeta! | 12Therefore let him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn’t fall. |
| 13Konz teid manitadas, ka muštkat, muga manitadas kaikid rahvahid. No Jumalale voib uskta, hän ei anda manitada teid ülimärašti. Ühtes manitusidenke hän ozutab teile päzundan-ki, i muga tö voit tirpta. | 13No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. |
| 14Armhad velled, olgat eriži tühjiš jumaloišpäi. | 14Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. |
| 15Pagižen teile, kut melekahile mehile. Meletagat iče, miš pagižen. | 15I speak as to wise men. Judge what I say. |
| 16Ei-ik pühän ehtlongin mal'l', kudambas mö kitäm Jumalad, ühtenzoita meid Hristosaha hänen veres? I ei-ik leib, kudambad mö lohkaidam, ühtenzoita meid Hristosan hibjaha? | 16The cup of blessing which we bless, isn’t it a sharing of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, isn’t it a sharing of the body of Christ? |
| 17Leib om üks', ka mö-ki olem üks' hibj, hot' meid om äi, sikš ku mö kaik lohkaidam necidä üht leibäd. | 17Because there is one loaf of bread, we, who are many, are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf of bread. |
| 18Kackat Izrail'an rahvahaze! Ei-ik nene, ked söba altarile pandud žertvlihad, ühtenzoitasoiš Jumalaha? | 18Consider Israel according to the flesh. Don’t those who eat the sacrifices participate in the altar? |
| 19Ka midä tahtoin sanuda? Sidä-k, miše žertvlihan panend altarile vai nene tühjad jumalad midä-se znamoičeba? | 19What am I saying then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything? |
| 20Ei, azj om siš, miše tühjiden jumaloiden kumardelijad toba žertvoid pahoile hengile, a ei Jumalale, a minä en tahtoi, miše tö oližit ühtes pahoiden hengidenke. | 20But I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God, and I don’t desire that you would have fellowship with demons. |
| 21Tö et voigoi joda Ižandan mal'l'aspäi da pahoiden hengiden mal'l'aspäi: et voigoi olda sen-žo ühten aigan Ižandan sömlaudan taga da pahoiden hengiden sömlaudan taga. | 21You can’t both drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You can’t both partake of the table of the Lord and of the table of demons. |
| 22Vai tahtoim-ik käregoitta Ižandad? Jose mö olem händast vägevambad? | 22Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he? |
| 23«Kaikehe minai om vald», — no ei kaik ole hüvä. «Kaikehe minai om vald», — no ei kaik vahvišta. | 23“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are profitable. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things build up. |
| 24Algha niken eckoi ičeleze hüväd, a kaikutte eckaha sidä, mi om hüvä toižile. | 24Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good. |
| 25Sögat kaiked, midä lihalaukoiš mödas, algat küzelkoi sen lihan polhe nimidä, ka et mängoi ičetoi henged vasthapäi. | 25Whatever is sold in the butcher shop, eat, asking no question for the sake of conscience, |
| 26«Ižandan om ma i kaik, midä sil om.» | 26for “the earth is the Lord’s, and its fullness.” |
| 27Ku ken-ni, kudamb ei usko, kucub teid adivoihe, i tö tahtoit sinna mända, ka algat küzelkoi ičtatoi, sögat kaiked, midä teile anttas. | 27But if one of those who don’t believe invites you to a meal, and you are inclined to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no questions for the sake of conscience. |
| 28No ku ken-ni sanub teile: «Nece om žertvliha tühjile jumaloile», algat sögoi sidä hänen tagut, ken necen sanui, da hengen tagut. Ved' Ižandan om ma i kaik, midä sil om. | 28But if anyone says to you, “This was offered to idols,” don’t eat it for the sake of the one who told you, and for the sake of conscience. For “the earth is the Lord’s, with all its fullness.” |
| 29En pagiže teiden henges, a sen toižen, kudamb muga sanui. Ka mikš toižen mehen hengele pidaiži märita minun valdad? | 29Conscience, I say, not your own, but the other’s conscience. For why is my liberty judged by another conscience? |
| 30Ku minä kitän Jumalad sömäs, mikš mindai lajiškatas siš, miš minä kitän? | 30If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced for something I give thanks for? |
| 31Ved' tö söt i jot, i teget völ midä-ni, ka tehkat kaik Jumalan ülenzoituseks. | 31Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. |
| 32Elägat muga, miše ei abidoitta evrejalaižid, grekalaižid i Jumalan uskondkundad. | 32Give no occasion for stumbling, whether to Jews, or to Greeks, or to the assembly of God; |
| 33Minä-ki opendamoi kožudas kaikidenke kaikiš azjoiš, en eci ičelein hüväd, a ecin toižile, miše hö päzuižiba grähkišpäi. | 33even as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of the many, that they may be saved. |
