APOSTOLOIDEN TEGOD | Acts |
Chapter 8 | Chapter 8 |
| 1Saul lugi oiktaks, miše Stefan riktihe. Siš päiväspäi lujas kükseškatihe Jerusaliman uskojid, i hö kaik pageniba erazvuiččihe Samarian i Judejan polihe. Jäiba vaiše apostolad. | 1Saul was consenting to his death. A great persecution arose against the assembly which was in Jerusalem in that day. They were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except for the apostles. |
| 2Erased jumalahižed mužikad mahapaniba Stefanan i lujas voikiba hänes. | 2Devout men buried Stephen and lamented greatly over him. |
| 3No Saul tahtoi tehta lopun uskondkundale. Hän käveli pertišpäi pert'he, küksi mužikoid i akoid irdale i käski tacta heid türmha. | 3But Saul ravaged the assembly, entering into every house and dragged both men and women off to prison. |
| 4Ned, kudambad oliba erigandenuded, käveliba tahospäi tahoze i saneliba hüväd vestid. | 4Therefore those who were scattered abroad went around preaching the word. |
| 5Filip tuli Samarian lidnaha i saneli sen eläjile vestid Messian polhe. | 5Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and proclaimed to them the Christ. |
| 6Konz rahvaz kulišti hänen paginan i nägišti ned tundmuztegod, kudambid hän tehli, ka tarkas kundli, midä hän sanui. | 6The multitudes listened with one accord to the things that were spoken by Philip when they heard and saw the signs which he did. |
| 7Äjad päzuiba paganoiš hengišpäi, kudambad lähtliba heišpäi kidastaden komedal änel, äjad ičeze kibul läžujad i rambičijad tegihe tervhikš. | 7For unclean spirits came out of many of those who had them. They came out, crying with a loud voice. Many who had been paralyzed and lame were healed. |
| 8Lidn oli täuz' ilod i ihastust. | 8There was great joy in that city. |
| 9Neciš-žo lidnas eli eraz mez', kudamb kuctihe Simonaks i kudamb hätken jo noidui i čududeli Samarian rahvast. Hän iče-ki lugi ičtaze miččeks-se sureks meheks. | 9But there was a certain man, Simon by name, who used to practice sorcery in the city and amazed the people of Samaria, making himself out to be some great one, |
| 10Kaik mehed, penespäi surhesai, kundliba händast i saneliba: «Hän om sur' Jumalan vägi.» | 10to whom they all listened, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is that great power of God.” |
| 11Händast kundeltihe, sikš ku hän jo hätken noidundal čududeli kaikid. | 11They listened to him, because for a long time he had amazed them with his sorceries. |
| 12Konz necen lidnan eläjad zavodiba uskta Filippale, kudamb saneli hüväd vestid Jumalan valdkundan polhe i Iisusan Hristosan nimen polhe, ka heid valatadihe, kut mužikoid muga akoid-ki. | 12But when they believed Philip preaching good news concerning God’s Kingdom and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. |
| 13Simon iče-ki uskoškanzi, i händast valatadihe. Hän kaiken pidelihe Filippanke, i konz nägišti tundmuztegoid i surid čudoid, hän lujas čududelihe. | 13Simon himself also believed. Being baptized, he continued with Philip. Seeing signs and great miracles occurring, he was amazed. |
| 14Konz apostolad Jerusalimas kulištiba, miše samarialaižed oliba otnuded südäimehe Jumalan sanan, hö oigenziba Petran i Joannan heidennoks. | 14Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, |
| 15Tuldes sinna hö loičiba Samarian uskojiden polhe, miše hö saižiba Pühän Hengen. | 15who, when they had come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit; |
| 16Ved' Heng ei olend völ lasknus nikenehe heišpäi, heid vaiše valatadihe Ižandan Iisusan nimehe. | 16for as yet he had fallen on none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of Christ Jesus. |
| 17Sid' Petr i Joan paniba käded heiden päle, i hö saiba Pühän Hengen. | 17Then they laid their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. |
| 18Konz Simon nägišti, miše se, kenen päle apostolad panliba käded, sai Pühän Hengen, hän tariči heile dengoid | 18Now when Simon saw that the Holy Spirit was given through the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money, |
| 19i sanui: «Antkat minei-ki mugoine vald, miše kenen päle panen käded, ka se sab Pühän Hengen.» | 19saying, “Give me also this power, that whomever I lay my hands on may receive the Holy Spirit.” |
| 20No Petr sanui hänele: «Kadogaha sinun dengad ühtes sinunke adhu, ku sinä meletad, miše void dengoile ostta Jumalan lahj! | 20But Peter said to him, “May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money! |
| 21Nece azj ei ole sinun täht, sikš ku sinun südäin ei ole oiged Jumalan edes. | 21You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for your heart isn’t right before God. |
| 22Käraute täs sinun grähkäspäi i loiče Jumalale. Voib olda hän prostib sinei sinun meled. | 22Repent therefore of this, your wickedness, and ask God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. |
| 23Minä nägen, miše sinä oled täuz' karktad sapid da oled grähkän sidegiš.» | 23For I see that you are in the poison of bitterness and in the bondage of iniquity.” |
| 24Sid' Simon sanui: «Loičkat minus Ižandale, miše minei ei tegižihe nimidä mugošt, miš tö olet pagižnuded!» | 24Simon answered, “Pray for me to the Lord, that none of the things which you have spoken happen to me.” |
| 25Konz apostolad oliba todištanuded i sanelnuded Ižandan sanad, hö pördihe Jerusalimha. Matkan aigan hö saneliba hüväd vestid äjiš Samarian küliš. | 25They therefore, when they had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the Good News to many villages of the Samaritans. |
| 26Ižandan angel sanui Filippale: «Astu suvehepäi i mäne tele, kudamb veb Jerusalimaspäi Gazaha i kudamb om rahvahatoi.» | 26But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise, and go toward the south to the way that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza. This is a desert.” |
| 27Filip läksi sinna, i hänele vastha putui efiopialaine evnuh, kudamb oli Efiopian kandakial vai kunigaz-naižel korktal sijal i kaiči kaik hänen kal'huded. Hän kävui loičmaha Jerusalimha, | 27He arose and went; and behold, there was a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was over all her treasure, who had come to Jerusalem to worship. |
| 28a nügüd' pördihe tagaze. Išttes ičeze telegas hän lugi Jumalan sanankandajan Isaijan kirjad. | 28He was returning and sitting in his chariot, and was reading the prophet Isaiah. |
| 29Heng sanui Filippale: «Mäne lähemba i astu telegan rindal.» | 29The Spirit said to Philip, “Go near, and join yourself to this chariot.” |
| 30Filip mäni joksten telegannoks i kulištades, kut efiopialaine lugeb Jumalan sanankandajan Isaijan sanoid, küzui: «El'gendad-ik, midä luged?» | 30Philip ran to him, and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” |
| 31Mez' sanui: «Kutak minä voin el'geta, ku minei niken ei nevo?» Hän pakiči Filippad libuda telegaha i išttas rindale. | 31He said, “How can I, unless someone explains it to me?” He begged Philip to come up and sit with him. |
| 32Pühiden Kirjutusiden sija, miččen hän lugi, oli nece: — Muga kut lambaz händast vedas rikmaha, muga kut vodnaz om äneta keričijan edes, hän-ki ei avaida sud. | 32Now the passage of the Scripture which he was reading was this, “He was led as a sheep to the slaughter. As a lamb before his shearer is silent, so he doesn’t open his mouth. |
| 33Händast alenzoittihe, ei suditud oiktal sudal. No ken voib pagišta hänen rodus? Ved' hänen elo nügüd' ottas malpäi. | 33In his humiliation, his judgment was taken away. Who will declare His generation? For his life is taken from the earth.” |
| 34Evnuh küzui Filippad: «Sanu minei, kenen polhe sanankandai sanub, ičeze polhe vai kenen-ni toižen polhe?» | 34The eunuch answered Philip, “Who is the prophet talking about? About himself, or about someone else?” |
| 35Filip pagižeškanzi, zavodi siš Kirjutusiden sijaspäi i saneli mehele hüväd vestid Iisusan polhe. | 35Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture, preached to him about Jesus. |
| 36Hö ajoiba edemba i tuliba vedennoks. Evnuh sanui: «Tägä om vezi. Mi minei telustab valatamhas?» | 36As they went on the way, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “Behold, here is water. What is keeping me from being baptized?” |
| 37Filip sanui hänele: «Ku kaikel südäimel uskod, ka nece voib tehta.» Evnuh sanui: «Minä uskon, miše Iisus Hristos om Jumalan Poig.» | 37 |
| 38Hän käski seižutada telegan, i hö molembad, Filip i evnuh, mäniba vedhe, i Filip valati händast. | 38He commanded the chariot to stand still, and they both went down into the water, both Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him. |
| 39Konz hö läksiba vedespäi, Pühä Heng laskihe evnuhan päle, i Ižandan angel tembaiži Filippan sigäpäi, i enambad evnuh ei nägend händast. Ihastusiš, hän mäni edemba ičeze tedme. | 39When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, and the eunuch didn’t see him any more, for he went on his way rejoicing. |
| 40Filip möhemba nähtihe Azot-lidnas. Hän käveli lidnaspäi lidnaha i saneli hüväd vestid, kuni tuli Kesariaha. | 40But Philip was found at Azotus. Passing through, he preached the Good News to all the cities, until he came to Caesarea. |
