| 1Kaik maksunkeradajad i toižed grähkhižed tuliba Iisusannoks kundelmaha händast. | 1Now all the tax collectors and sinners were coming close to him to hear him. |
| 2Farisejad i käskištonopendajad buraižiba kesknezoi: «Nece mez' kaiken om grähkhižidenke i eskai söb heidenke.» | 2The Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, “This man welcomes sinners, and eats with them.” |
| 3Siloi Iisus sanui heile ozoitezstarinan: | 3He told them this parable. |
| 4«Ku kenel-se teišpäi om sada lambast i üks' segoib, ka ei-ik hän jäta nenid ühesadkümned ühesad omaluižele rahvahatomha maha i ei-ik lähte ecmaha sidä segoinut, kuni löudab sen? | 4 “Which of you men, if you had one hundred sheep, and lost one of them, wouldn’t leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one that was lost, until he found it? |
| 5Konz hän löudab lambhan, hän ihastusiš otab sen sel'gha, | 5 When he has found it, he carries it on his shoulders, rejoicing. |
| 6i kodihe tuldes hän kucub ičeze sebranikoid i susedoid i sanub heile: ‘Olgat ihastusiš ühtes minunke! Minä löuzin ičein lambhan, kudamb oli segoinu.’ | 6 When he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ |
| 7Minä sanun teile: muga om taivhas-ki. Ühtele grähkhižele, kudamb käraudase grähkišpäi, ihastuba sigä enamban mi ühesalekümnele ühesale hüväle mehele, kudambile ei pida kärautas.» | 7 I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance. |
| 8Naine-ki, kudambal om kümne hobedašt drahm-rahad i ühten hän kadotab, ka ei-ik hän virita lampad i ei-ik pühkiškande lavad i ei-ik eciškande tarkašti sihesai, kuni se raha löudub? | 8 Or what woman, if she had ten drachma coins, if she lost one drachma coin, wouldn’t light a lamp, sweep the house, and seek diligently until she found it? |
| 9I ku hän löudab sen, ka kucub ičeze sebranikoid i susedoid-naižid i sanub: ‘Olgat ihastusiš ühtes minunke! Minä löuzin rahan, kudamban olin kadotanu.’ | 9 When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the drachma which I had lost.’ |
| 10Sanun teile, ühtejiččikš ihastuba Jumalan angelad ühten-ki grähkhižen tagut, kudamb käraudase grähkišpäi.» | 10 Even so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner repenting.” |
| 11Iisus sanui völ:«Ühtel mehel oli kaks' poigad. | 11He said, “A certain man had two sons. |
| 12Noremb sanui tatale: ‘Tat, anda minei minun pala kodielospäi.’ Tat jagoi kodielon poigiden keskes. | 12 The younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of your property.’ He divided his livelihood between them. |
| 13Päliči päiväs-toižes noremb kogozi kaik, midä hänel oli, i läksi edahaks verhiže maihe. Sigä hän pidi kaik ičeze rahad elädes kebnad elod. | 13 Not many days after, the younger son gathered all of this together and traveled into a far country. There he wasted his property with riotous living. |

| 18Ei, nügüd' minä lähten tatannoks i sanun hänele: Tatam, minä olen tehnu grähkid taivast vaste i sindai vaste. | 18 I will get up and go to my father, and will tell him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight. |
| 19Minä en ole jo ningoine arvokaz, miše mindai voiži kucta poigaks. Ota mindai ühteks sinun radnikaks.’ | 19 I am no more worthy to be called your son. Make me as one of your hired servants.” ’ |
| 20Muga hän läksi tatannoks.Konz poig oli völ edahan, tat nägišti händast, i hänele tegihe žal' poigad. Hän joksi vastha poigale, sebazi händast i tervehti. | 20 “He arose, and came to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. |
| 21Poig sanui hänele: ‘Tatam, minä olen tehnu grähkid taivast vaste i sindai vaste. Minä en ole jo ningoine arvokaz, miše mindai voiži kucta sinun poigaks.’ | 21 The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ |
| 22No tat sanui käskabunikoile: ‘Mängat teramba, togat parahimad sädod i sädatagat händast, pangat hänele sormuz sormhe i kengäd jaugha. | 22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe, and put it on him. Put a ring on his hand, and sandals on his feet. |
| 23Togat lihav vaza i rikkat. Nügüd' tarbiž söda i praznuida! | 23 Bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let’s eat, and celebrate; |
| 24Minun poigaine oli kolnu, no eläbzui, hän oli segoinu, no nügüd' löuzihe.’ Muga hö zavodiba praznuida. | 24 for this, my son, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.’ Then they began to celebrate. |
| 25Vanhemb poig oli pöudol. Konz hän tuli läz kodid, hän kulišti pajon, vändon i kargaidusen. | 25 “Now his elder son was in the field. As he came near to the house, he heard music and dancing. |
| 26Hän kucui ičezennoks ühten käskabunikan i küzui: ‘Mi nece om?’ | 26 He called one of the servants to him, and asked what was going on. |
| 27Käskabunik sanui: ‘Sinun vel'l' pördihe kodihe. Tataiž käski rikta lihavan vazan, ku sai poigan tagaze tervhen.’ | 27 He said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and your father has killed the fattened calf, because he has received him back safe and healthy.’ |
| 28Siloi vanhemb vel'l' kurktui i ei tahtoind mända pert'he. No hänen tataze tuli irdale i kucui händast. | 28 But he was angry, and would not go in. Therefore his father came out, and begged him. |
| 29No poig sanui hänele: ‘Kaik nene voded minä radoin vaiše sinun täht i nikonz en jätand sinun käsköd tehmata. A sinä nikonz ed andand minei kozašt-ki, miše minä voižin praznuida sebranikoidenke. | 29 But he answered his father, ‘Behold, these many years I have served you, and I never disobeyed a commandment of yours, but you never gave me a goat, that I might celebrate with my friends. |

| 32No nügüd' tarbiž olda ihastusiš da hüviš meliš. Nece sinun vel'l' oli kolnu, no eläbzui, hän oli kadonu, no nügüd' löuzihe.’» | 32 But it was appropriate to celebrate and be glad, for this, your brother, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.’ ” |
