Chapter 8

Vellet, tahtommo, gu tiedäzittö, mittuman hüvüön Jumal on andanuh uskojien kanzukunnile Makedonies.1Moreover, brothers, we make known to you the grace of God which has been given in the assemblies of Macedonia,
Hos niilöi opittih kaikenjüttümil goril, uskojat oldih muga tävvet iluo, ga süväs köühüösgi oldih ainos valmehet andamah tävvel käil.2how in much proof of affliction, the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded to the riches of their generosity.
Hüö annettih, min voidih da vie enämbängi - sen minä näin. Hüö iče tuldih da3For according to their power, I testify, yes and beyond their power, they gave of their own accord,
kaikelleh pokoroittihes, gu müö olizimmo moizet hüvät da ottazimmo heidü ühtehizeh ruadoh, avvuttamah jumalanuskojii.4begging us with much entreaty to receive this grace and the fellowship in the service to the saints.
Hüö ruattih ei vai sidä, midä müö vuotimmo heis, a annettih iččie Jumalan tahton mugah enzimäzikse Ižändäle da sit meilegi.5This was not as we had expected, but first they gave their own selves to the Lord, and to us through the will of God.
Sikse müö kehitimmö Tiittua jatkamah da vedämäh loppuh suate sen hüvän dielon, kudaman häi algoi teijän keskes.6So we urged Titus, that as he had made a beginning before, so he would also complete in you this grace.
I kui teil on kaikkie kübimänkülläl, on uskuo dai paginn'eruo, tieduo dai rakkahuttu ruadoh, on sidä suvaičustu, kudai meis tuli teih, ga sit annakkuagi tävvel käil.7But as you abound in everything, in faith, utterance, knowledge, all earnestness, and in your love to us, see that you also abound in this grace.
En sano tädä gu käskie. Sanon toizien rad'en'n'ah näh, a sen vuoh tahton tiijustua, suvaičettogo tüö tovel.8I speak not by way of commandment, but as proving through the earnestness of others the sincerity also of your love.
Tüöhäi tiijättö Ižändän Iisusan Hristosan hüvüön: Häi oli bohattu, no rodih köühäkse teijän täh, gu tüö bohattuzitto Hänen köühüöl.9For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.
Annan teile hüvän n'evvon täs dielos. Mulloi tüö olitto enzimäzet, ei vai ruadamah, no tahtomahgi.10I give a judgment in this: for this is expedient for you who were the first to start a year ago, not only to do, but also to be willing.
Ga vedäkkiä se ruado nügöi loppuh suate! Kui palavasti sidä tahtoitto, muga viegiä se agjah suate omii taguzii müö.11But now complete the doing also, that as there was the readiness to be willing, so there may be the completion also out of your ability.
Gu andai tahtou andua, Jumal ottau hüvännü sen, midä andajal on, eigo vuota hänes sidä, midä hänel ei ole.12For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what you have, not according to what you don’t have.
Küzümüs ei ole sit, gu luadie toizile kebjiembi, a teile jügiembi, a ku olis kaikile ühtenverdu.13For this is not that others may be eased and you distressed,
Nügöi teil on külläl, i tüö voitto avvuttua hädähizii, a konzu heil on külläl, hüö voijah avvuttua teidü hiäs, i muga rodieu kaikile ühtenverdu.14but for equality. Your abundance at this present time supplies their lack, that their abundance also may become a supply for your lack; that there may be equality.
Onhäi kirjutettu:
Ken keräi äijän,
sil ei olluh liigua.
Ken keräi vähän,
sil ei olluh hädiä.
As it is written, “He who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack.”
Passibo Jumalale, kudai pani Tiitangi südämeh moizen, kui minul, rakkahuon avvuttua teidü.16But thanks be to God, who puts the same earnest care for you into the heart of Titus.
Häi kuuli minun kehitüksen, no hänes ičesgi on moine suuri rakkahus, ga häi omal himol lähtöü teijän luo.17For he indeed accepted our exhortation, but being himself very earnest, he went out to you of his own accord.
Hänenke tüönnämmö vie ühtü uskovellie, kudamua kaikis uskojien kanzukunnis kiitetäh, sikse gu häi hüväl himol ruadau jevangelien hüväkse.18We have sent together with him the brother whose praise in the Good News is known throughout all the assemblies.
Paiči sidä, kanzukunnatgi vallittih händü meijän matkuvellekse vedämäh sidä lahjua, kudamua müö hommuammo Ižändän kunnivokse da meijän avvutanduhimon merkikse.19Not only so, but he was also appointed by the assemblies to travel with us in this grace, which is served by us to the glory of the Lord himself, and to show our readiness.
I nenga müö vardoičemmokseh, gu emmo puuttus nikenen soimattavakse nämien suurien d'engoin täh, kudamat on uskottu meijän käzih.20We are avoiding this, that any man should blame us concerning this abundance which is administered by us.
Tahtommo, gu kai olis hüvin ei vai Jumalan silmis, no i rahvahien silmis.21Having regard for honorable things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.
Tüönnämmö heijänke matkah vie ühten uskovellen, kudaman ruadohimon müö puaksuh näimmö äijäs kohtas da kudai nügöi vie enämbäl pürgihes ruadoh, gu lujah uskou teih.22We have sent with them our brother, whom we have many times proved earnest in many things, but now much more earnest, by reason of the great confidence which he has in you.
A ku sanuo Tiittah näh, häi on minun ruadovelli, häi ruadau teijän hüvüökse ühtes minunke, a nämä vellet ollah uskojien kanzukunnispäi tüötüt, hüö ollah Hristosan kunnivonnu.23As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker for you. As for our brothers, they are the apostles of the assemblies, the glory of Christ.
Ozutakkua sit, kui tüö suvaičetto heidü, anna uskojien kanzukunnat tiijustetah, müö emmo tühjiä löühkä teis.24Therefore show the proof of your love to them before the assemblies, and of our boasting on your behalf.
