Chapter 6

Midä täh sanuo? Pidäügo meil jatkua riähkänluajindua, gu Jumalan hüvüs sit suurenis?1What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Tiettäväine, ei! Gu kerran riähkäh nähte olemmo kuolluh, ga sit kuibo voizimmo iellehgi eliä riähkäs?2May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?
Vikse tüö etto tiijä, gu meidü kaikkii, kedä ristittih Iisussah Hristossah, ristittih Hänen kuolendah.3Or don’t you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Nenga meidü ristijes annettih surmale, pandih kalmah ühtes Hänenke, gu müögi rubiezimmo elämäh uuttu elaigua, muga kui Hristossua nostatettih kuollielois Tuatan taivahallizen valgien väil.4We were buried therefore with him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
Gu meidü ühtütti Hänenke ühtenjüttüine kuolendu, sit meidü ühtüttäü kuollieloisnouzendugi.5For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection;
Müö tiijämmö: meijän vahnu oma iče on ühtes Hänenke nuaglittu ristah, gu tämä riähkähine rungu menettäs vallan da müö emmo olis enämbi riähkän orjannu.6knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.
Ken kuoli, se piäzi riähkän vallas.7For he who has died has been freed from sin.
A ku kuolimmo Hristosanke, uskommo, voimmo eliägi Hänenke.8But if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him;
Tiijämmö, gu kerran Hristos on nostatettu kuollielois, Häi ei kuole enämbiä, surmal ei ole enämbiä valdua Häneh.9knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over him!
Konzu Hristos kuoli, Häi kuoli ilmazekse ijäkse riähkäh nähte. A ku Häi eläü, Häi eläü Jumalah nähte.10For the death that he died, he died to sin one time; but the life that he lives, he lives to God.
Mugai tüö, piekkiä iččie riähkäh nähte kuolluzinnu, a Jumalah nähte elävinnü Hristosas Iisusas.11Thus consider yourselves also to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Anna sit riähkü ei pie valdua teijän kuolijas rungas, eiga annattokseh sen himoloile.12Therefore don’t let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
Älgiä annakkua oman rungan nimittumua kohtua riähkän valdah luadimah viärüttü! Gu nügöi piäzittö surmas elaigah, annakkua iččie Jumalale, a rungan joga kohtu Hänen valdah luadimah oigieloi ruadoloi!13Also, do not present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
Riähkü ei ole enämbi teijän ižändü, sendäh gu tüö etto ole Zakonan, a oletto armon vallan al.
For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace.
Midäbo sit? Rubiemmogo luadimah riähkiä, gu emmo ole Zakonan, a olemmo armon vallan al? Emmo rubie!15What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under law, but under grace? May it never be!
Tiijättöhäi sen, gu heittünettö kelle orjakse kuundelemah händü, sit oletto juuri sen orjannu, kedä kuundeletto. Tüö libo kuundeletto riähkiä, i se vedäü teidü surmah, libo kuundeletto Jumalua i sil roittokseh oigiekse.16Don’t you know that when you present yourselves as servants and obey someone, you are the servants of whomever you obey; whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?
Passibo Jumalale, gu tüö, kudamat enne olitto riähkän orjannu, nügöi kogo südämel kuundeletto sidä opastustu, kudaman vietettäväkse teidü on annettu.17But thanks be to God, that, whereas you were bondservants of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were delivered.
Teidü piästettih välläle riähkän vallas i tüö rodiittokseh oigien käsküläzekse.18Being made free from sin, you became bondservants of righteousness.
Pagizen jogapäiväzen elaijan kielel, sendäh gu omas ičes tüö oletto vähävägizet. Enne tüö annoitto oman rungan joga kohtazen paganoin da zakonattomien dieloloin orjakse. A nügöi annakkua rungan joga kohtu oigien käsküläzekse ruadamah pühii ruadoloi.19I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh, for as you presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members as servants to righteousness for sanctification.
Konzu olitto riähkän orjannu, tüö etto voinnuh sluužie oigiele.20For when you were servants of sin, you were free from righteousness.
Midä hüviä tüö sit saitto? Kaikkie mostu, midä nügöi huijustattokseh, sikse gu sen agjas on surmu.21What fruit then did you have at that time in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
A nügöi tüö oletto välläl riähkis da rodiittokseh Jumalan käsküläzekse. Se hüvä, midä tüö sit suatto, vedäü teidü pühäh elaigah da lopus tüö suatto ilmanigäzen elaijan.22But now, being made free from sin and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification and the result of eternal life.
Riähkän palku on surmu, a Jumalan lahju on ilmanigäine elaigu Hristosas Iisusas, meijän Ižändäs.23For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
