Chapter 17

Chapter 17

Kuvven päivän mendüü Iisus otti kerale Pedrin da Juakoin da tämän vellen Iivanan da vedi heidü üksii korgiele mäile.1After six days, Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John his brother, and brought them up into a high mountain by themselves.
Sie Häi muutui heijän silmien ies: Hänen rožat ruvettih läpettämäh ku päiväine, i Hänen sovat roittih valgiembakse valgiedu.2He was changed before them. His face shone like the sun, and his garments became as white as the light.
Sit heijän edeh jiävittihes Moisei da Il'l'u, kudamat paistih Iisusanke.3Behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them talking with him.
Pedri sanoi Iisusale: «Ižändü, hüvä on meile täs olla. Ku tahtonet, minä luajin täh kolme lehtikodua: Sinule, Moiseile da Il'l'ale.»4Peter answered, and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you want, let’s make three tents here: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
Vie Pedrin paistes, valgei läpettäi pilvi katoi heidü, i pilves kuului iäni: «Tämä on Minun armas Poigu, kudamah olen mieldünüh. Kuunnelkua Händü!»5While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. Behold, a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.”
Konzu opastujat kuultih iäni, hüö pöllästüttih da langettih muale očin.6When the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces, and were very afraid.
No Iisus tuli heijän rinnale, kosketti heidü da sanoi: «Noskua, älgiä varakkua.»7Jesus came and touched them and said, “Get up, and don’t be afraid.”
Konzu hüö nostettih piät, ei nähtü nikedä muudu, vai ühtü Iisussua.8Lifting up their eyes, they saw no one, except Jesus alone.
Konzu hüö heitüttih mäilpäi, Iisus sanoi heile: «Älgiä sanelkua nikelle tädä nägüü, kuni Ristikanzan Poigua ei ole nostatettu kuollielois.»9As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, “Don’t tell anyone what you saw, until the Son of Man has risen from the dead.”
Opastujat küzüttih Hänel: «Mindäh zakonanopastajat sanotah, buite enzimäi pidäü tulla Il'l'al?»10His disciples asked him, saying, “Then why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
«Il'l'u i tulou», sanoi Iisus, «da panou kai omile sijoile.11Jesus answered them, “Elijah indeed comes first, and will restore all things,
A minä sanon teile: Il'l'u on jo tulluh. Rahvas vai ei tundiettu händü, i ruattih hänele, midä tahtottih. Muga Ristikanzan Poijalgi pidäü tirpua muokat heijän käzis.»12 but I tell you that Elijah has come already, and they didn’t recognize him, but did to him whatever they wanted to. Even so the Son of Man will also suffer by them.”
Sit opastujat ellendettih: Häi pagizou Iivan Ristijäs.
Then the disciples understood that he spoke to them of John the Baptizer.
Konzu hüö tuldih järilleh rahvahan luo, Iisusan luo tuli mies, heitüi polvilleh Hänen edeh14When they came to the multitude, a man came to him, kneeling down to him, and saying,
da sanoi: «Ižändü, žiälöiče minun poigua! Häi on langeilii, äijäl muokkuahes, langeilou libo tuleh, libo vedeh.15“Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is epileptic, and suffers grievously; for he often falls into the fire, and often into the water.
Minä toin händü Sinun opastujien luo, ga hüö ei voidu piästiä händü.»16So I brought him to your disciples, and they could not cure him.”
Sit Iisus sanoi: «Oi sinä uskomatoi da pahakse heittünüh polvi! Hätkigo minul vie pidäü olla teijänke? Hätkigo vie pidäü tirpua teidü? Tuogua brihačču tänne minun luo.»17Jesus answered, “Faithless and perverse generation! How long will I be with you? How long will I bear with you? Bring him here to me.”
Iisus kovah käski karule lähtie brihačus, i se lähti. Brihačču kerras rodih terveh.18Jesus rebuked him, the demon went out of him, and the boy was cured from that hour.
Müöhembi, konzu nikedä ei olluh lähäl, opastujat mendih Iisusan luo da küzüttih: «Mindähbo müö emmo voinnuh ajua karuu brihačus?»19Then the disciples came to Jesus privately, and said, “Why weren’t we able to cast it out?”
«Sendäh, ku teijän usko on ülen pieni», vastai Iisus. «Toven sanon teile: ku teijän usko olis hos gorčitsan siemenen suurus, tüö voizitto sanuo tälle mäile: 'Siirrü tiäpäi tuane', i se siirdüs. I ei olis mostu ruaduo, midä tüö etto vois ruadua. [20He said to them, “Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
Nengoine karu ei lähte muul, vai malitul da pühitändäl.]»
But this kind doesn’t go out except by prayer and fasting.”
I konzu hüö ühtes käveltih Galilein muadu müöte, Iisus sanoi opastujile: «Ristikanzan Poigu annetah rahvahien käzih,22While they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be delivered up into the hands of men,
i hüö tapetah Händü, no kolmandennu päivännü Händü nostatetah kuollielois.» Sit heile rodih ülen paha mieles.
and they will kill him, and the third day he will be raised up.” They were exceedingly sorry.
Konzu hüö tuldih Kapernaumah, Pedrin luo tuldih jumalankoin maksunkeriäjät da sanottih: «Maksaugo teijän opastai jumalankoin maksun vai ei?»24When they had come to Capernaum, those who collected the didrachma coins came to Peter, and said, “Doesn’t your teacher pay the didrachma?”
«Maksau», häi vastai. Konzu häi meni pertih, Iisus ennitti küzüö hänel: «Midä mieldü olet, Simon? Kes muailman suarit kerätäh maksuloi, omis vai vierahis?»25He said, “Yes.” When he came into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, “What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth receive toll or tribute? From their children, or from strangers?”
«Vierahis», vastai Pedri. Sit Iisus sanoi hänele: «Omat sit ollah välläl.26Peter said to him, “From strangers.” Jesus said to him, “Therefore the children are exempt.
No mikse suututtua heidü? Mene järvele da lükkiä ongi vedeh. Ota enzimäine kala, kudaman tabuat, da avua sil suu. Sie lövvät hobjud'engan. Ota se da maksa heile minus dai ičes tuači.»27 But, lest we cause them to stumble, go to the sea, cast a hook, and take up the first fish that comes up. When you have opened its mouth, you will find a stater coin. Take that, and give it to them for me and you.”
