Chapter 8

Chapter 8

Konzu Iisus heitüi alah mäilpäi, Hänenke astui suuri rahvasjoukko.1When he came down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
Sit Hänen rinnale tuli mies, kudai oli voimatoi prokuazal. Mies heitüi polvilleh Iisusan edeh da sanoi: «Ižändü, ku tahtozit, Sinä voizit puhtastua minuu.»2Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean.”
Iisus oijendi käin, kosketti miestü da sanoi: «Minä tahton. Puhtastu.» Mies kerras puhtastui prokuazas.3Jesus stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be made clean.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
Iisus sanoi hänele: «Kačo, ku nikelle et sanos tädä. Mene vai ozuttamahes papile da vie lahju, kudaman käski tuvva Moisei, ku kaikin nähtäs sinun puhtastundu.»
Jesus said to him, “See that you tell nobody, but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
Konzu Iisus tuli Kapernaumah, üksi suanpiällikkö tuli Hänen luo da küzüi Hänel abuu.5When he came into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking him,
Häi sanoi: «Ižändü, minun kazakkua hullai. Häi viruu kois da on suuris goris.»6and saying, “Lord, my servant lies in the house paralyzed, grievously tormented.”
Iisus sanoi: «Minä tulen da piästän händü.»7Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”
No suanpiällikkö vastai: «Ižändü, Sinul ei maksa tulla minun taloih. Sano vai sana, i kazakku paranou.8The centurion answered, “Lord, I’m not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
Minä ičegi kuundelen suurembien käskülöi da käsken omile saldatoile. Ku sanon ühtele: 'Mene', häi menöü, libo toizele: 'Tule', häi tulou, libo omale käsküläzele: 'Rua se', i häi ruadau.»9For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and tell another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and tell my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
Tämän kuultuu Iisus diivuiččihes i sanoi rinnal astujile: «Toven sanon teile: nengostu lujua uskuo en ole nähnüh ni ühtel izrail'alazel.10When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to those who followed, “Most certainly I tell you, I haven’t found so great a faith, not even in Israel.
Minä sanon teile, äijät tullah päivännouzu- da päivänlaskupuolespäi, da süvväh ühtes Avraaman, Isakan da Juakoinke*a Taivahallizen valdukunnas.11 I tell you that many will come from the east and the west, and will sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven,
No tämän muan lapsii, kudamil roindua müöte pidänüs piästä sinne, lükätäh pihale pimieh. Sie hüö itkietäh da kridžaitetah hambahii.»12 but the children of the Kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Sit Iisus sanoi suanpiälliköle: «Mene. Roikkah muga, kui sinä uskot.» Sil sanal kazakku parani.
Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way. Let it be done for you as you have believed.” His servant was healed in that hour.
Iisus tuli Pedrin kodih i nägi hänen muatkoidu virumas alasijas suures žuarus.14When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother lying sick with a fever.
Iisus kosketti hänen kättü, i žuaru lähti hänes. Naine nouzi magavosijal da rubei gostittamah Händü.15He touched her hand, and the fever left her. She got up and served him.
A konzu tuli ehtü, Iisusan luo tuodih äijii, kudamat oldih karuloin vallas. Häi ajoi omal sanal heis karut i piästi kai voimattomat.16When evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick;
Muga stuaniihes se, mi on sanottu Jumalan iänenkandajan Isaijan kniigas:
– Häi otti iččeh piäle meijän voimattomuot,
Häi kandoi meijän kivut.
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, “He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.”
Konzu Iisus nägi, mi äijü rahvastu on Hänes ümbäri, käski Häi opastujile mennä toizele rannale.18Now when Jesus saw great multitudes around him, he gave the order to depart to the other side.
Üksi zakonanopastai tuli sit Hänen luo da sanoi: «Opastai, minä novvan Sinuu, kunne vai Sinä et menne.»19A scribe came, and said to him, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”
Iisus vastai hänele: «Reboloil on kolot i taivahan linduzil pezät, a Ristikanzan Poijal ei ole, kunne piädü painua.»20Jesus said to him, “The foxes have holes, and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”
Toine ristikanzu, üksi Hänen opastujis, sanoi Hänele: «Ižändü, minä enzimäi kävüzin tuattua muah panemah.»21Another of his disciples said to him, “Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father.”
No Iisus sanoi hänele: «Astu minule jälles! Anna kuolluot pannah muah omii kuolluzii.»
But Jesus said to him, “Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.”
Iisus astui veneheh i Hänen opastujat mendih Hänele jälles.23When he got into a boat, his disciples followed him.
Sit kerras järvele nouzi suuri bauhu. Allot lüödih piäliči venehen laijois, a Iisus magai.24Behold, a violent storm came up on the sea, so much that the boat was covered with the waves, but he was asleep.
Sit opastujat nostatettih Händü da sanottih: «Ižändü, piästä meidü, müö uppuommo!»25They came to him, and woke him up, saying, “Save us, Lord! We are dying!”
«Miksebo oletto nengozet varačut, tüö vähäuskozet?» sanoi Iisus. Sit Häi nouzi, käski tuulele da aldoloile azettuo, i rodih ihan tüüni.26He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.
Rahvas diivuittihes sidä da sanottih: «Mibo miehii tämä on, ku Händü kuunnellah tuuli dai allot?»
The men marveled, saying, “What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
Konzu Iisus tuli kohturannale, Gadaran muah, Hänele vastah tuli kaksi kalmukololois*b eläjiä miestü, kudamii muokattih karut. Hüö oldih moizet äriet, ga niken ei voinnuh mennä sidä dorogua müöte.28When he came to the other side, into the country of the Gergesenes, two people possessed by demons met him there, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that nobody could pass that way.
Hüö ruvettih kirgumah: «Midä sinä meis tahtot, Jumalan Poigu? Tulitgo tänne muokkuamah meidü enne sanottuu aigua?»29Behold, they cried out, saying, “What do we have to do with you, Jesus, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”
A palazen piäs oli suuri poččikarju niitül.30Now there was a herd of many pigs feeding far away from them.
Karut pokoroittihes Iisusale: «Gu kerran ajat meidü tiäpäi, ga tüönnä sit meidü poččikarjah.»31The demons begged him, saying, “If you cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of pigs.”
«Mengiä!» sanoi Iisus. Sit henget lähtiettih miehispäi da mendih poččiloih, i kai poččikarju karahtih jürkändehelpäi järveh da uppoi.32He said to them, “Go!” They came out, and went into the herd of pigs: and behold, the whole herd of pigs rushed down the cliff into the sea, and died in the water.
Poččiloin paimoit pajettih. Hüö mendih linnah da saneltih sie, midä nähtih da midä rodih niilöin miehienke, kudamii muokattih karut.33Those who fed them fled, and went away into the city, and told everything, including what happened to those who were possessed with demons.
Sit kaikin lähtiettih linnaspäi Iisusale vastah. Hänen nähtüü hüö pokoroittihes, ku Häi menis iäre heijän lohkolpäi.34Behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus. When they saw him, they begged that he would depart from their borders.
