| 1Воннэзӧ, тійӧ ─ вежа отир, енӧжись Енӧн корӧммез*а. Видзӧтӧ Енлӧн Ыстӧм вылӧ, миян Аркирей Кристос Исус вылӧ, Кӧдалӧ мийӧ веритам. | 1Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession: Jesus, |
| 2Сія быдӧсын кывзісис Сійӧ Аркирейнас Сувтӧтісьсӧ, кыдз и Моисейыс «Ен керкуын быдӧс керис Сы сьӧрті». | 2who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also Moses was in all his house. |
| 3Исуссӧ колӧ ошкыны Моисейӧсся ӧддьӧнжык. Керку лэбтісьсӧ эд керкуыс сьӧрті ӧддьӧнжык ошкӧны. | 3For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, because he who built the house has more honor than the house. |
| 4Быд керкулӧн эм керку керись, а Еныс ─ быдӧс Керисьыс. | 4For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God. |
| 5Моисейыс «Енлӧн керкуас быдӧсын вӧлі надейнӧй кысъялісьӧн». Сылӧн кысъялӧмыс мыччаліс сійӧ, мый Еныс мӧдіс висьтавны одзланься кадӧ. | 5Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken, |
| 6А Кристосыс ─ Зон. Сія веськӧтлӧ Енлӧн керкунас. Сылӧн керкуыс ─ мийӧ, медбӧрӧдз вермам кӧ овны повтӧг да надейтчӧмнаным, кӧдӧн ӧні ошшасям. | 6but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house. We are his house, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end. |
| 7Сійӧн, Вежа Лолыс сідз баитӧ: ─ Талун, Сылісь шысӧ кывтӧн, | 7Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you will hear his voice, |
| 8эд чорзьӧтӧ сьӧлӧммезнытӧ, кыдз вӧлі кушмуӧт мунікӧ, Ме вылӧ лэбтісьӧм коста Менӧ лӧгӧтлікӧ. | 8don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness, |
| 9Тіян айезныт нёльдас во*в сьӧрна адззылісӧ Менчим уджӧс. Асьныс тай лӧгӧтлісӧ, ылӧтлісӧ Менӧ. | 9where your fathers tested me and tried me, and saw my deeds for forty years. |
| 10Сійӧн Ме лӧгаси эта увтыр вылӧ, висьталі: «Нія пыр мӧдӧрӧ ылалӧны. Нія озӧ тӧдӧ Менчим туйезӧс». | 10Therefore I was displeased with that generation, and said, ‘They always err in their heart, but they didn’t know my ways.’ |
| 11Сійӧн Ме лӧгувьям кыв сетӧмӧн*г висьталі: «Нія озӧ пырӧ шоччисянінас, кӧдӧ Ме лӧсьӧті». | 11As I swore in my wrath, ‘They will not enter into my rest.’ ” |
| 12Воннэзӧ, видзӧтӧ, медбы тіян коласісь некин эз вӧв вериттӧм мортӧн да эз вӧв сьӧлӧм выланыт лӧгыс. Тіян коласісь ась некин оз янсав ловья Еныс дынісь. | 12Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God; |
| 13Вынсьӧтӧ ӧтамӧднытӧ быд лун, кытчӧдз кадсӧ позьӧ шуны «талун». Ась некин тіян коласісь оз бӧбась умӧльсӧ керны да сысянь оз чорзьӧт сьӧлӧмсӧ. | 13but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called “today”, lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. |
| 14Кристослӧ лӧсьӧтӧм пайыс*д дӧнзяс и миянлӧ, пондам кӧ бура веритны медбӧрӧдз, кыдз и пондім. | 14For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end, |
| 15Эта йылісь висьталӧм: ─ Талун, кӧр кылат Сылісь шысӧ, эд чорзьӧтӧ сьӧлӧммезнытӧ, кыдз вӧлі Ме вылӧ лэбтісьӧм коста. | 15while it is said, “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion.” |
| 16Енлісь шысӧ кыліссез коласісь мукӧдыс лэбтісьӧмась паныт, но абу быдӧнныс, кӧдна петісӧ Моисейыскӧт Египетсис. | 16For who, when they heard, rebelled? Wasn’t it all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses? |
| 17Кин вылӧ Сылӧн петӧм лӧгыс нёльдас во сьӧрна? Эз я умӧльсӧ кериссес вылӧ, кӧдналӧн лыэс*е кольччӧмась кушмуас? | 17With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? |
| 18Кин йылісь кыв сетӧмӧн висьталӧм: озӧ пӧ пырӧ Сы шоччисянінӧ? Сідз висьталіс кывзісьтӧммес йылісь. | 18To whom did he swear that they wouldn’t enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient? |
| 19Мийӧ адззам, нія эзӧ вермӧ пырны Енлӧн шоччисянінӧ, эзӧ веритӧ да. | 19We see that they weren’t able to enter in because of unbelief. |
