| 1Aikaseh huomenekšella ylipapit neuvoteltih rahvahan vanhimpien, sakonanopaštajien ta koko Neuvokunnan kera. Hyö šivottih Iisussa riimuloih, vietih Hänet ta annettih muaherra Pilatilla. | 1Immediately in the morning the chief priests, with the elders and scribes, and the whole council, held a consultation, bound Jesus, carried him away, and delivered him up to Pilate. |
| 2Pilatti kyšy Iisussalta: «Oletko Šie jevreijen Čuari?» Iisussa vaštasi: «Šie šen šanoit». | 2Pilate asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” He answered, “So you say.” |
| 3Ylipapit viäritettih Iisussua monešta as's'ašta. | 3The chief priests accused him of many things. |
| 4Pilatti tuaš kyšy Häneltä: «Etkö Šie meinua vaššata? Kuulethan Šie, mištä kaikešta hyö Šilma viäritetäh.» | 4Pilate again asked him, “Have you no answer? See how many things they testify against you!” |

| 14Pilatti kyšy: «Mitä pahua Hiän on ruatan?» Hyö vain karjuttih vielä lujempah: «Nuakliče Hänet ristih!» | 14Pilate said to them, “Why, what evil has he done?” But they cried out exceedingly, “Crucify him!” |
| 15Pilatti tahto ruatua rahvahalla mieliksi, ta niin hiän piäšti Varavvan tyrmäštä, a Iisussan anto saltatoilla ruošittavakši ta ristih nuaklittavakši. | 15Pilate, wishing to please the multitude, released Barabbas to them, and handed over Jesus, when he had flogged him, to be crucified. |

| 19Hyö lyötih Häntä kepillä piäh, šylettih Häneh, heittäyvyttih polvusillah ta kumarrettih Hänellä. | 19They struck his head with a reed, and spat on him, and bowing their knees, did homage to him. |
| 20Kun hyö oli näin ivual'tu Iisussua, hyö otettih Hänen piältä purppurasviitka, šuoritettih Hänet omih vuatteih ta lähettih viemäh ristih nuaklittavakši. | 20When they had mocked him, they took the purple off him, and put his own garments on him. They led him out to crucify him. |

| 32Šolahtakkah nyt rissiltä, Hristossa, Israelin Čuari! Šen kun niämmä, šiitä ušomma Häneh.» Neki, ket oli yheššä Hänen kera nuaklittu ristih, ivual'tih Häntä. | 32Let the Christ, the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, that we may see and believe him.” Those who were crucified with him also insulted him. |

| 34Yhekšännellä tunnilla Iisussa karju lujašti: «Eloi, eloi, lama šavahfani?» Kiännettynä še on: Jumalani, Jumalani, mintäh Šie Miut jätit? | 34At the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is, being interpreted, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” |

Let’s see whether Elijah comes to take him down.” |
| 37Šiitä Iisussa karjahti lujašti ta anto henkeh. | 37Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and gave up the spirit. |
| 38Šiinä šamašša jumalankojin saviessa repisi kahekši, ylähyätä alahuakši šuate. | 38The veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom. |
| 39Rissin vaštapiätä šeiso šuan saltatan piälikkö. He boldly went in to Pilate, and asked for Jesus’ body. |
