KIRJEINE GALATALAIŽILE | Galatians |
Chapter 5 | Chapter 5 |
| 1Hristos pästi meid valdale, i nügüd' mö olem valdal. Ka olgat vahvad, algat antkoi udes sidoda ičtatoi orjan čapihe. | 1Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. |
| 2Kundelkat! Minä, Pavel, sanun teile: ku andat ičtatoi ümbrileikata, ka Hristosaspäi teile ei linne nimidä ližad. | 2Behold, I, Paul, tell you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will profit you nothing. |
| 3Todištan völ kerdan kaikuččele, ken andab ičtaze ümbrileikata, ka hänele pidab tarkas eläda käskišton mödhe. | 3Yes, I testify again to every man who receives circumcision that he is a debtor to do the whole law. |
| 4Tö, ked tahtoit tehtas tozioiktoikš eläden käskišton mödhe, ka tö et olgoi jo Hristosanke, tö eriganzit hänen armoišpäi. | 4You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace. |
| 5No mö hengel varastam i nadeimoiš, miše Jumal andab meile tozioiktusen. | 5For we, through the Spirit, by faith wait for the hope of righteousness. |
| 6Ku mez' eläb Hristosas Iisusas, ka ei ole erod, om-ik hän ümbrileiktud vai ei. Arvokaz om vaiše uskond, kudamb nägub armastuses. | 6For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love. |
| 7Tö olit männuded muga hüvin, ka kenak teid seižuti, miše tö et kundelkoi toden sanad? | 7You were running well! Who interfered with you that you should not obey the truth? |
| 8Ved' nece ei tule Jumalaspäi, kudamb teid kucub. | 8This persuasion is not from him who calls you. |
| 9Muštkat: «Pen' näpine muigotest muigenzoitab kaiken taignan.» | 9A little yeast grows through the whole lump. |
| 10Ižandaha uskten minä olen mugošt mel't, miše tö-ki meletaškandet mugažo kut minä. No se, ken om segoitanu teiden meletusid, sab Jumalan sudan, olgha hän hot' ken taht. | 10I have confidence toward you in the Lord that you will think no other way. But he who troubles you will bear his judgment, whoever he is. |
| 11Velled, ku minä edeleze-ki oližin ümbrileiktusen polel, ka mikš mindai kükstas? Ka siloi minun paginad ristan polhe enamba nikeda ei satataiži. | 11But I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been removed. |
| 12A nene teiden hus'utajad iče ičtaze tegetagha! | 12I wish that those who disturb you would cut themselves off. |
| 13Teid, velled, kuctihe elämaha valdal. No algat valdan nimel pästkoi valdale ičetoi grähkhišt tabad. | 13For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another. |
| 14Kaik käskišt om sid' ühtes käskös: «Armasta ičeiž lähembašt, kut ičtaiž.» | 14For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” |
| 15No ku tö ridlet da puret toine tošt, ka varaikat, miše et surmitaiži toine tošt lophusai. | 15But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don’t consume one another. |
| 16Minä sanun: elägat kut Heng käskeb, ka siloi tö et tegeškakoi, midä teiden grähkhine taba tahtoib. | 16But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh. |
| 17Grähkhine taba tahtoib tošt mi Heng, a Heng tošt mi grähkhine taba. Ned oma toine tošt vasthapäi, i sikš tö et voigoi tehta sidä, midä tahtoižit. | 17For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire. |
| 18No ku Heng vedäb teid, ka tö et olgoi käskišton valdan al. | 18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. |
| 19Grähkhižen taban radod oma sil'mnägubal. Ned oma: vedeluzelo, paganrad, kebn elo, | 19Now the deeds of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, |
| 20tühjile jumaloile kumardelend, noiduz, viha, ridad, mužikan i akan toižehe sidond, käregzoituz, ridlend, erimeližuz', [manitused] i gruppihe jagand, | 20idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, |
| 21kadehuz', rikond, humaloičend, ülimäraine praznuičend i äi mugošt. Sanun nügüd', kut olen sanunu edel-ki: ken tegeb mugošt, ka hän ei sa jäl'gestust Jumalan valdkundaspäi. | 21envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom. |
| 22Heng kazvatab meiš armastust, ihastust, kožmust, tirpandad, hüvämeližut, hüvüt, uskondad, | 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, |
| 23laskvut da ičeze käziš pidändad. Käskišt ei ole sidä vasthapäi. | 23gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. |
| 24Nene, ked oma Hristosan, oma nagloičenuded ristha ičeze grähkhižen taban sen himoidenke da tahtoidenke. | 24Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. |
| 25Ku mö eläm Hengel, ka antkam Hengele meid vedäda-ki. | 25If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit. |
| 26Meile ei pida ecta ičelemoi korktad sijad, ärdutada toine tošt da kadehtida toine toižele. | 26Let’s not become conceited, provoking one another, and envying one another. |
