| 1Tö, meletomad galatalaižed, ken om noidunu teid, miše tö vastustat tot? Ved' teiden sil'miden edehe oli sel'ktas todud ristha nagloitud Iisus Hristos! | 1Foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you not to obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly portrayed among you as crucified? |
| 2Sanugat minei vaiše üks': sait-ik tö Hengen sil, miše elit käskišton mödhe, vai sil, miše kundlit hüväd vestid da uskoit sihe? | 2I just want to learn this from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith? |
| 3Olet-ik mugoižed meletomad, miše zavodit Hengen abul, a nügüd' tahtoit sada satusid mehen vägel? | 3Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now completed in the flesh? |
| 4Jose olet tirpnuded nenid jügedusid tühjan? Ka ei! | 4Did you suffer so many things in vain, if it is indeed in vain? |
| 5Jose Jumal andab teile Hengen i sädab surid tegoid teiden keskes sil, miše tö elät käskišton mödhe, a ei sil, miše uskot hüvähä vestihe, kudamban kulet? | 5He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you and does miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith? |
| 6Johtutam hot' Avraaman: «Hän uskoi Jumalale, i Jumal lugi hänen uskondan hänele tozioiktuseks.» | 6Even as Abraham “believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness.” |

Ned-žo Kirjutused edelpäi toiba Avraamale hüvän vestin: «Sinun kal't saba blahoslovindan kaik rahvahad.» | 8The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the Good News beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you all the nations will be blessed.” |

For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who doesn’t continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them.” |
| 11Om sel'ged, miše niken ei tehte Jumalan sil'miš tozioiktaks eläden käskišton mödhe, sikš ku «tozioiged eläb uskondal.» | 11Now that no man is justified by the law before God is evident, for, “The righteous will live by faith.” |

For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,” |

| 18Ku jäl'gestusen samine ripuiži käskištospäi, ka se ei voiži pohjištuda toivotushe. No Jumal om sen andnu Avraamale, ku oli edelpäi toivotanu. | 18For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise; but God has granted it to Abraham by promise. |

It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise has been made. It was ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator. |

| 21Om-ik sid' käskišt Jumalan toivotust vasthapäi? Ka ei! Ku oliži anttud käskišt, kudamb voiži antta elod, ka mez' tozi-ki tegižihe tozioiktaks, ku eläiži käskišton mödhe. | 21Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could make alive, most certainly righteousness would have been of the law. |
| 22No Pühäd Kirjutused sanuba, miše kaik mehed oma grähkän čapiš, miše se, mi om toivotadud, oliži anttud uskondas Iisusaha Hristosaha — hänehe uskojile. | 22But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. |
| 23No edel uskondan tulendad käskišt varjoiči meid luklon taga sihesai, kuni uskond avaidaižihe. | 23But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, confined for the faith which should afterwards be revealed. |
| 24Muga käskišt om tehnus meiden kacujaks Hristosan tulendahasai, miše mö tegižimoiš tozioiktoikš necil uskondal. | 24So that the law has become our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. |
| 25A nügüd', ku om tulnu uskondan aig, mö em olgoi enamb sen kacujan valdas. | 25But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. |
| 26Tö kaik olet Jumalan lapsed, ku uskot Hristosaha Iisusaha. | 26For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus. |
| 27Kaik tö, keda valatadihe Hristosan nimehe, olet sobnus Hristosaha. | 27For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. |

| 29I ku tö olet Hristosan, ka olet Avraaman jäl'gnikad i sat toivotadud jäl'gestusen. | 29If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring and heirs according to promise. |
