KIRJEINE GALATALAIŽILE | Galatians |
Chapter 1 | Chapter 1 |
| 1Minä, apostol Pavel, ei mehiden valičendan tagut vai mehen pandud, a apostolaks pani mindai Iisus Hristos da Tat Jumal, kudamb eläbzoiti händast kollijoišpäi, | 1Paul, an apostle—not from men, nor through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead— |
| 2oigendan tervhensanoid uskondkundile Galatiaha. Tervhutesid oigendaba kaik velled-ki, ked oma minunke. | 2and all the brothers who are with me, to the assemblies of Galatia: |
| 3Armoid da mirud teile Jumalaspäi, meiden Tataspäi, da meiden Ižandas Iisusas Hristosaspäi, | 3Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, |
| 4kudamb andoi ičeze hengen meiden grähkiden tagut, miše päzutada meid nügüdläižes pahas miruspäi Jumalan, meiden Tatan, tahton mödhe. | 4who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father— |
| 5Hänen om korged arv kaiken i igäks. Amin'. | 5to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. |
| 6Minä lujas čududelemoi, miše tö muga teravas käraudatoiš sel'gin Jumalaha, kudamb om kucnu teid Hristosan armoil, i kundlet tošt hüväd vestid. | 6I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different “good news”, |
| 7No nimittušt tošt hüväd vestid ei ole-ki. Erased vaiše segoitaba teiden melid da tahtoiba värin sanelda hüväd vestid Hristosan polhe. | 7but there isn’t another “good news.” Only there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the Good News of Christ. |
| 8No hot' vaiše ken-ni — iče mö vai angel taivhaspäi — saneleb teile toinejittušt hüväd vestid, a ei sidä, kudambad mö olem sanelnuded teile, ka olgha hänele anafema. | 8But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any “good news” other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed. |
| 9Sanun völ kerdan, midä olen edel-ki sanunu: ku ken-ni saneleb teile toinejittušt hüväd vestid, a ei sidä, mittušt olet sanuded, olgha hänele anafema. | 9As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any “good news” other than that which you received, let him be cursed. |
| 10Ka midä minä sid' ecin — rahvahan vai Jumalan kitändad? Vai rahvahale tahtoin olda mel'he? Ku minä völ nügüd'-ki tahtoižin olda mel'he rahvahale, ka minä en voiži olda Hristosan käskabunikan. | 10For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn’t be a servant of Christ. |
| 11Velled, minä tahtoižin, miše tö tedaižit: hüvä vest', kudambad minä sanelen, ei ole lähtnu rahvahan melespäi. | 11But I make known to you, brothers, concerning the Good News which was preached by me, that it is not according to man. |
| 12Ved' minä en ole sanu sidä mehilpäi, i niken ei ole opendanu minei sidä, a olen sanu sen, ku Iisus Hristos om avaidanus minei. | 12For I didn’t receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ. |
| 13Tö ved' kulit, kut minä elädes evrejalaižen uskondan mödhe lujas äjan küksin Jumalan uskondkundad da tahtoin panda sen mantazale. | 13For you have heard of my way of living in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the assembly of God and ravaged it. |
| 14Elädes necen uskondan mödhe minä sirdimoi edemba, mi toižed minun ühtenigäižed, i kaikel südäimel olin ezitatoiden uskondveroiden polel. | 14I advanced in the Jews’ religion beyond many of my own age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers. |
| 15No Jumal, kudamb jo maman kohtuspäi valiči i kucui mindai ičeze armoiš, | 15But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through his grace |
| 16kacui hüväks avaita minei ičeze Poigan, miše minä saneližin hüväd vestid hänen polhe Jumalad tundmatomile rahvahile. Siloi minä en ecind nevondoid ni ühtel mehelpäi | 16to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I didn’t immediately confer with flesh and blood, |
| 17dai en lähtend Jerusalimha vastmaha nenid, ked tegihe apostoloikš edel mindai, a sid'-žo mänin Araviaha i pördimoi sigäpäi Damaskaha. | 17nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia. Then I returned to Damascus. |
| 18Möhemba, koumes vodes päliči mänin Jerusalimha tundištamhas Petranke i olin hänenno vižtoštkümne päiväd. | 18Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Peter, and stayed with him fifteen days. |
| 19Nimiččid toižid apostoloid en vasttand, vaiše Ižandan vellen Jakovan. | 19But of the other apostles I saw no one except James, the Lord’s brother. |
| 20Jumalan edes sanun: midä sid' kirjutan teile, se om tozi, minä en kelasta. | 20Now about the things which I write to you, behold, before God, I’m not lying. |
| 21Sid' läksin Siriaha da Kilikiaha. | 21Then I came to the regions of Syria and Cilicia. |
| 22Judejan Hristosan uskojad siloi mindai völ ei tundnugoi. | 22I was still unknown by face to the assemblies of Judea which were in Christ, |
| 23Hö oliba kulnuded vaiše mugoižid paginoid: «Se meiden kükslii nügüd' saneleb sen uskondan polhe, mittušt edel napri panda mantazale.» | 23but they only heard: “He who once persecuted us now preaches the faith that he once tried to destroy.” |
| 24I hö ülenzoitiba Jumalad minun täht. | 24So they glorified God in me. |
