KIRJEINE RIMALAIŽILE | Romans |
Chapter 3 | Chapter 3 |
| 1Midä hüväd om olda evrejalaižen, da mittušt ližad tob ümbrileiktuz? | 1Then what advantage does the Jew have? Or what is the profit of circumcision? |
| 2Äjan da erazvuittušt! Ezmäi kaiked sidä, miše Jumal om andnu ičeze sanan heiden holihe. | 2Much in every way! Because first of all, they were entrusted with the revelations of God. |
| 3No hot' erased heišpäi ei usknugoi, znamoičeb-ik nece, miše Jumalale ei voi uskta? | 3For what if some were without faith? Will their lack of faith nullify the faithfulness of God? |
| 4Ka ei! Olgha hot' kaik mehed kelastajad, Jumal üks'kaik ei kelasta. Ved' om sanutud Pühiš Kirjutusiš: — Sinä linned oiged kaikiš ičeiž sanoiš, i sad vägestusen sudas. | 4May it never be! Yes, let God be found true, but every man a liar. As it is written, “that you might be justified in your words, and might prevail when you come into judgment.” |
| 5No ku meiden värhuz' ozutab Jumalan oiktusen, midä sid' meile sanuda? Om-ik Jumal vär — pagižen nügüd' kuti mehed — konz oigendab vihan meiden päle? | 5But if our unrighteousness commends the righteousness of God, what will we say? Is God unrighteous who inflicts wrath? I speak like men do. |
| 6Ka ei! Kutak hän sid' voiži sudida mirud? | 6May it never be! For then how will God judge the world? |
| 7No ku minun kelastusen kal't Jumalan tozi näguškandeb paremba da tob hänele korktad arvod, mikš sid' mindai pidaiži sudida kut grähkhišt? | 7For if the truth of God through my lie abounded to his glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner? |
| 8Ka jose meile pidaiži tehta pahad, miše tuliži hüvä, kut meiden päle erašti kelastadas i sanutas, miše mö muga opendam-ki? Naku hö saba-ki oiktan sudan. | 8Why not (as we are slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say), “Let’s do evil, that good may come?” Those who say so are justly condemned. |
| 9I kutak sid'? Olem-ik mö, evrejalaižed, Jumalan edes parembal sijal? Ka nikut. Minä olen jo ozutanu, miše kut evrejalaižed, muga grekalaižed-ki oma grähkän valdas. | 9What then? Are we better than they? No, in no way. For we previously warned both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin. |
| 10Ved' om sanutud Pühiš Kirjutusiš: — Ei ole tozioiktad, ni üht, | 10As it is written, “There is no one righteous; no, not one. |
| 11ei ole el'gendajad, nikeda, ken ecib Jumalad. | 11There is no one who understands. There is no one who seeks after God. |
| 12Kaik oma käraudanus tespäi i tehnus kožutomikš. Ei ole nikeda, ni üht, ken tegeb hüväd. | 12They have all turned away. They have together become unprofitable. There is no one who does good, no, not so much as one.” |
| 13Heiden kurk om avoin kaum, kelel hö manitaba, heiden huliden taga om kün jad, | 13“Their throat is an open tomb. With their tongues they have used deceit.” “The poison of vipers is under their lips.” |
| 14heiden su om täuz' sapid i pahut. | 14“Their mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.” |
| 15Hö rigehtiden rigehtiba pästta vert, | 15“Their feet are swift to shed blood. |
| 16murenduz i gol'l'uz' jäba heiden jäl'ghe. | 16Destruction and misery are in their ways. |
| 17Kožmusen te heile ei ole tetab, | 17The way of peace, they haven’t known.” |
| 18heiden sil'miš ei ole Jumalan varaidust. | 18“There is no fear of God before their eyes.” |
| 19Mö tedam: midä käskišt sanub, sidä se sanub nenile, ked oma käskišton valdas, miše niken ei rohtiži avaita sud i kaik mir oliži vär Jumalan edes. | 19Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God. |
| 20Ved' ni üks' mez' ei tehte tozioiktaks Jumalan edes eläden käskišton mödhe. Käskišton kal't mez' tedištab, miše hän om grähkhine. | 20Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin. |
| 21No nügüd käskištoho kacmata Jumal om avaidanu ten tozioiktusehe, kudamban polhe todištaba käskišt i Jumalan sanankandajad. | 21But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets; |
| 22Nece Jumalan tozioiktuz' tuleb uskondan kal't Iisusaha Hristosaha kaikile i kaikiden täht, ked uskoba. Kaik oma ühtejiččed, | 22even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction, |
| 23sikš ku kaik oma tehnuded grähkid i heiš ei ole Jumalan korktad arvod. | 23for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; |
| 24Ani muite, hänen armoiden kal't hö tegesoiš tozioiktoikš, sikš ku Hristos Iisus om pästnu heid valdale. | 24being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus; |
| 25Jumal pani händast žertvaks grähkiš. Hänen veri pästab grähkäd nenile, ked uskoba. Jumal om ozutanu ičeze tozioiktusen muga, miše pästi männuden aigan grähkäd opendamata niiš. | 25whom God sent to be an atoning sacrifice, through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness through the passing over of prior sins, in God’s forbearance; |
| 26Hän om tirpnu i tehnu necen, miše ozutada nügüd' ičeze tozioiktusen: hän iče om tozioiged i tegeb tozioiktoikš nenid, ked uskoba Iisusaha. | 26to demonstrate his righteousness at this present time; that he might himself be just, and the justifier of him who has faith in Jesus. |
| 27Om-ik sid' mil ülendeldas? Ei ole. Sil ei ole pohjad. Mitte käskišt om lükäidanu sen pohjan? Ei-ik se, kudamb käskeb eläda sen mödhe? Ka ei, a se, kudamb käskeb uskta. | 27Where then is the boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith. |
| 28Mö vahvištoitam sen, miše mez' tegese tozioiktaks, ku hän uskob, a ei muga, konz hän tegeb sidä, midä tarbiž käskišton mödhe. | 28We maintain therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law. |
| 29Jose Jumal om vaiše evrejalaižiden Jumal? Ei-ik hän ole toižiden-ki rahvahiden Jumal? Ka om toižiden-ki, | 29Or is God the God of Jews only? Isn’t he the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, |
| 30ved' Jumal om vaiše üks' i sikš hän tegeb tozioiktoikš nenid, ked uskoba — ümbrileiktud i mugažo ümbrileikmatomad. | 30since indeed there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith, and the uncircumcised through faith. |
| 31Murendam-ik mö käskištod uskondal? Ka em, mö vastkarin vahvištoitam sidä, midä käskišt sanub. | 31Do we then nullify the law through faith? May it never be! No, we establish the law. |
