Chapter 13

Chapter 13

Äipäivän praznik oli jo läheli, i Iisus tezi, miše om tulnu se aig, konz hänele tarbiž lähtta neciš miruspäi Tatannoks. Hän oli kaiken armastanu nenid, ked oliba neciš mirus hänen, i ani lophusai armasti heid.1Now before the feast of the Passover, Jesus, knowing that his time had come that he would depart from this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.
Hö oliba ehtlongičemas, konz lemboi oli jo pannu Juda Iskariotale, Simonan poigale, südäimehe meletusen, miše hän möiži Iisusad.2During supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him,
Iisus tezi, miše Tat oli andnu kaiken hänen käzihe i miše hän oli tulnu Jumalannopäi i nügüd' pidi pörtas hänennoks.3Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came from God, and was going to God,
Muga hän libui sömäspäi, heiti pälembaižen soban i sidoi vösijale pölvasižen käzipaikan.4arose from supper, and laid aside his outer garments. He took a towel and wrapped a towel around his waist.
Sid' hän valoi vet pezuastijaha i pezeškanzi openikoiden jaugad i pühki ned pölvasižel käzipaikal, kudamb oli sidotud vösijale.5Then he poured water into the basin, and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him.
Konz Iisus tuli Simon Petran kohtale, Petr sanui: «Ižand, ka jose sinä pezeškanded minun jaugad?»6Then he came to Simon Peter. He said to him, “Lord, do you wash my feet?”
Iisus vastsi: «Necidä, midä minä nügüd' tegen, sinä ed völ el'genda, no möhemba sen tedaškanded.»7Jesus answered him, “You don’t know what I am doing now, but you will understand later.”
Petr sanui hänele: «Sinä igäs ed pezeškande minun jaugoid!» Iisus sanui: «Ku minä en peze sindai, sinei ei sa olda minunke.»8Peter said to him, “You will never wash my feet!” Jesus answered him, “If I don’t wash you, you have no part with me.”
Siloi Simon Petr sanui: «Ižand, ala peze vaiše jaugoid, peze mugažo käded i pä.»9Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!”
Neche Iisus sanui: «Sille, kudamb om jo peznus, tarbiž pesta vaiše jaugad. I muga hän linneb kaik puhtaz. I tö olet-ki puhthad, no et kaik.»10Jesus said to him, “Someone who has bathed only needs to have his feet washed, but is completely clean. You are clean, but not all of you.”
Iisus tezi, ken händast möb, i sikš hän sanui: «Tö et olgoi kaik puhthad.»11For he knew him who would betray him, therefore he said, “You are not all clean.”
Konz Iisus oli peznu heiden jaugad i pannu päle soban, hän ištuihe möst ehtlongičemha. Hän sanui heile: «El'gendat-ik tö, midä teile tegin?12So when he had washed their feet, put his outer garment back on, and sat down again, he said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you?
Tö kucut mindai opendajaks i Ižandaks, i oikti teget: minä olen-ki se.13 You call me, ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord.’ You say so correctly, for so I am.
Ku minä, teiden Ižand i Opendai, olen peznu teiden jaugad, ka teile-ki tarbiž pesta jaugad toine toižel.14 If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
Minä ozutin teile, miše tö-ki tegižit muga, kut minä olen tehnu teile.15 For I have given you an example, that you should also do as I have done to you.
Todest tozi sanun teile: ei ole käskabunik suremb ičeze ižandad, i oigetud ei ole suremb ičeze oigendajad.16 Most certainly I tell you, a servant is not greater than his lord, neither is one who is sent greater than he who sent him.
Ku tö necen tedat i tegeškandet muga, tö olet ozavad.17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.
Minä en sanu necidä teiš kaikiš. Minä tedan, keda valičin. No necile Pühiden Kirjutusiden sanale tarbiž todenzuda: ‘Mez', kudamb söb minunke, om lendnu käden minun päle.’18 I don’t speak concerning all of you. I know whom I have chosen. But that the Scripture may be fulfilled, ‘He who eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me.’
Minä sanun necen teile jo nügüd', edel ku se todenzub, miše siloi, konz se todenzub, tö uskoižit: nece olen minä.19 From now on, I tell you before it happens, that when it happens, you may believe that I am he.
Todest tozi sanun teile: ken otab ičezennoks sen, kudamban minä oigendan, ka otab ičezennoks mindai, i ken otab ičezennoks mindai, ka otab ičezennoks minun Oigendajan.»
Most certainly I tell you, he who receives whomever I send, receives me; and he who receives me, receives him who sent me.”
Muga Iisus pagiži. Südäintuskiš hän sanui heile: «Todest tozi sanun teile: üks' teišpäi möb mindai.»21When Jesus had said this, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, “Most certainly I tell you that one of you will betray me.”
Openikad kacuiba toine toižhe tedmata, kenen polhe hän pagiži.22The disciples looked at one another, perplexed about whom he spoke.
Üks' openikoišpäi, kudambad Iisus armasti, ehtlongiči hänen rindal.23One of his disciples, whom Jesus loved, was at the table, leaning against Jesus’ breast.
Simon Petr ozuti sille, miše hän küzuiži Iisusal, kenen polhe oli pagin.24Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, and said to him, “Tell us who it is of whom he speaks.”
Openik sirdihe lähemba Iisusannoks, kändihe hänehepäi i küzui: «Ižand, ken hän om?»25He, leaning back, as he was, on Jesus’ breast, asked him, “Lord, who is it?”
Iisus sanui: «Se, kenele andan necen leibsupalan.» Sid' hän painoi supalan padaha i andoi sen Juda Iskariotale, Simonan poigale.26Jesus therefore answered, “It is he to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it.” So when he had dipped the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.
Siloi, sen supalan jäl'ghe soton mäni Judaha. Iisus sanui hänele: «Midä teget, tege teramba!»27After the piece of bread, then Satan entered into him. Then Jesus said to him, “What you do, do quickly.”
Niken, ken oli ehtlongičemas, ei el'gendand, mikš Iisus sanui hänele muga.28Now nobody at the table knew why he said this to him.
Sikš miše Judal oli ühthine kukor, erased meletiba, miše Iisus käski hänele ostta midä-ni praznikaks vai antta midä-ni gollile.29For some thought, because Judas had the money box, that Jesus said to him, “Buy what things we need for the feast,” or that he should give something to the poor.
Juda oti necen supalan i sid'-žo läksi. Oli ö.
Therefore having received that morsel, he went out immediately. It was night.
Konz Juda läksi, Iisus sanui: «Nügüd' Mehen Poigan korged arv om tulnu sil'mnägubale i Jumalan korged arv om tulnu sil'mnägubale hänes.31When he had gone out, Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man has been glorified, and God has been glorified in him.
I ku Jumalan korged arv tuleb sil'mnägubale hänes, ka Jumal-ki ozutab hänen korktan arvon ičesaze, i Jumal tegeb necen jo teravas.32 If God has been glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and he will glorify him immediately.
Lapsed! Minei om jänu vähän aigad olda teidenke. Tö eciškandet mindai, no minä sanun nügüd' teile sen-žo, midä sanuin evrejalaižile: kuna minä mänen, sinna tö et voigoi putta.33 Little children, I will be with you a little while longer. You will seek me, and as I said to the Jews, ‘Where I am going, you can’t come,’ so now I tell you.
Minä andan teile uden käskön: armastagat toine tošt! Muga kut minä olen armastanu teid, armastagat tö-ki toine tošt.34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another.
Kaik tundištaba teiš minun openikoid, ku tö armastat toine tošt.»35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
«Ižand, kuna sinä mäned?» küzui Simon Petr. Iisus sanui: «Kuna minä mänen, sinä ed voi nügüd' tulda minunke, a möhemba tuled.»36Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, where are you going?” Jesus answered, “Where I am going, you can’t follow now, but you will follow afterwards.”
Petr sanui hänele: «Ižand, mikš en voi nügüd' lähtta sinunke? Minä andan ičein hengen sinun täht.»37Peter said to him, “Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.”
Iisus sanui: «Andad-ik sinä ičeiž hengen minun täht? Todest tozi sanun sinei: ei ehti kukoi launda, kut sinä koumašti sanud, miše ed tunde mindai.»
Jesus answered him, “Will you lay down your life for me? Most certainly I tell you, the rooster won’t crow until you have denied me three times.
