EVANGELII JOANNAN MÖDHE | John |
Chapter 8 | Chapter 8 |
| 1no Iisus mäni Voipunmägele. | 1but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. |
| 2Aigoiš homendesel Iisus möst tuli pühäkodihe. Hänenno kerazihe äi rahvast, i hän ištuihe i openzi heid. | 2Now very early in the morning, he came again into the temple, and all the people came to him. He sat down and taught them. |
| 3Siloi käskištonopendajad i farisejad toiba hänennoks akan, kudamb tabatihe, konz hän magazi verhan mužikanke. Hö seižutiba händast keskele | 3The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman taken in adultery. Having set her in the middle, |
| 4i sanuiba Iisusale: «Opendai, nece ak tabatihe, konz hän magazi verhan mužikanke. | 4they told him, “Teacher, we found this woman in adultery, in the very act. |
| 5Moisei käski meile tacelta mugomihe kivil surmhasai. Midä sinä sanud?» | 5Now in our law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. What then do you say about her?” |
| 6Hö pagižiba muga, miše kodvda Iisusad i miše mil-ni väritada händast. No Iisus kumarzihe i kirjuti sormel maha kacmata heihe. | 6They said this testing him, that they might have something to accuse him of. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with his finger. |
| 7I ku hö hätken küzeliba händast, hän oigenzihe i sanui: «Se teišpäi, ken om grähkätoi, ezmäine tackaha hänehe kivi.» | 7But when they continued asking him, he looked up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw the first stone at her.” |
| 8Hän kumarzihe möst i kirjutaškanzi maha. | 8Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground with his finger. |
| 9Kulištades Iisusan sanad hö lähteškanziba toine toižen jäl'ghe, vanhembišpäi jäl'gmäižehesai, sikš ku südäimes hö teziba, miše oma grähkhižed. Sinna jäi vaiše Iisus i keskel seižui ak. | 9They, when they heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning from the oldest, even to the last. Jesus was left alone with the woman where she was, in the middle. |
| 10Iisus lendi pän i ku ei nägištand nikeda, vaiše akan, ka küzui: «Naine, kus oma sinun väritajad? Ei-ik niken sudind sindai?» | 10Jesus, standing up, saw her and said, “Woman, where are your accusers? Did no one condemn you?” |
| 11«Niken, hüvä mez'», ak sanui. Iisus sanui: «Minä-ki en sudiškande. Mäne, ala tege grähkid enambad.» | 11She said, “No one, Lord.” Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go your way. From now on, sin no more.” |
| 12Iisus pagiži möst rahvahanke i sanui: «Minä olen mirun lämoi. Ken astub minunke, se ei käveleškande pimedas, a hänel om elon lämoi.» | 12Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.” |
| 13Siloi farisejad sanuiba hänele: «Sinä iče todištad ičeiž polhe, sinun todištuz ei ole mugoine arvokaz.» | 13The Pharisees therefore said to him, “You testify about yourself. Your testimony is not valid.” |
| 14Iisus sanui: «Hot' minä todištan iče ičein polhe, minun todištuz om arvokaz, sikš ku minä tedan, kuspäi minä olen tulnu i kuna mänen. A tö et tekoi, kugalaine minä olen i kuna mänen. | 14Jesus answered them, “Even if I testify about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from, and where I am going; but you don’t know where I came from, or where I am going. |
| 15Tö sudit mehiden kartte, minä en sudi nikeda. | 15 You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one. |
| 16I ku sudin-ki, ka minun sud om oiged, sikš ku minä en ole üksnäin, a minunke om Tat, kudamb om mindai oigendanu. | 16 Even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent me. |
| 17Ved' teiden käskištos-ki om sanutud, miše kahten mehen todištuz om arvokaz. | 17 It’s also written in your law that the testimony of two people is valid. |
| 18Minä iče todištan ičein polhe, i minun polhe todištab Tat, kudamb om mindai oigendanu.» | 18 I am one who testifies about myself, and the Father who sent me testifies about me.” |
| 19«Kus sinun Tat om?» hö küzuiba. Iisus sanui: «Tö et tuntkoi mindai, et tuntkoi minun Tatad-ki. Ku tundižit mindai, ka tundižit minun Tatad-ki.» | 19They said therefore to him, “Where is your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither me nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father also.” |
| 20Necen pagiži Iisus, konz openzi rahvast pühäkodiš, läz rahalipast. Niken ei tabadand händast, sikš ku hänen aig völ ei tulend. | 20Jesus spoke these words in the treasury, as he taught in the temple. Yet no one arrested him, because his hour had not yet come. |
| 21Iisus sanui möst rahvahale: «Minä lähten tägäpäi. Tö eciškandet mindai, no kolet ičetoi grähkihe. Kuna minä lähten, sinna tö et voigoi putta.» | 21Jesus said therefore again to them, “I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sins. Where I go, you can’t come.” |
| 22Evrejalaižiden pämehed čududelihe: «Tahtoib-ik hän rikta ičtaze, ku sanub: ‘Kuna minä lähten, sinna tö et voigoi putta’?» | 22The Jews therefore said, “Will he kill himself, because he says, ‘Where I am going, you can’t come’?” |
| 23Iisus sanui heile: «Teiden kodi om alahan, minun om ülähän. Tö olet neciš miruspäi, a minä en ole neciš miruspäi. | 23He said to them, “You are from beneath. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world. |
| 24Sikš sanuin teile, miše tö kolet ičetoi grähkihe. I ku tö et uskkoi, miše nece olen minä, ka tö kolet ičetoi grähkihe.» | 24 I said therefore to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.” |
| 25Siloi hö küzuiba: «Ken sinä oled?» Iisus sanui heile: «Minä sanuin ezmässai teile, ken minä olen. | 25They said therefore to him, “Who are you?” Jesus said to them, “Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning. |
| 26Minä äjan voižin sanuda teiden polhe i äjiš azjoiš voižin teid sudida. No minun Oigendai pagižeb tot, i midä olen kulnu hänespäi, sidä minä sanun mirule.» | 26 I have many things to speak and to judge concerning you. However he who sent me is true; and the things which I heard from him, these I say to the world.” |
| 27Hö ei el'gendanugoi, miše Iisus pagiži Tatan polhe. | 27They didn’t understand that he spoke to them about the Father. |
| 28I Iisus sanui heile: «Konz tö libutat Mehen Poigan, tö el'gendaškandet, miše nece olen minä i minä en tege nimidä ičein päspäi, a pagižen muga, kut Tat om opendanu mindai. | 28Jesus therefore said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and I do nothing of myself, but as my Father taught me, I say these things. |
| 29Minun Oigendai om minunke. Tat ei jätand mindai üksnäin, ved' minä kaiken tegen muga, kut om hänele mel'he.» | 29 He who sent me is with me. The Father hasn’t left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to him.” |
| 30Konz Iisus pagiži muga, äjad uskoškanziba hänehe. | 30As he spoke these things, many believed in him. |
| 31Nenile evrejalaižile, kudambad nügüd' uskoiba hänehe, Iisus sanui: «Ku tö elät minun sanoiden mödhe, ka todeks olet minun openikad. | 31Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. |
| 32Tö tedištat, mi om tozi, i tozi pästab teid valdale.» | 32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” |
| 33Hö sanuiba hänele: «Mö olem Avraaman heimokundaspäi, mö nikonz em olnugoi nikenen orjin. Kut void sanuda, miše mö päzum valdale?» | 33They answered him, “We are Abraham’s offspring, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How do you say, ‘You will be made free’?” |
| 34Iisus virki: «Todest tozi sanun teile: kaikutte, kudamb tegeb grähkid, om grähkän orj. | 34Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin. |
| 35No orj ei püžu ižandan pertiš igän, a poig püžub igän. | 35 A bondservant doesn’t live in the house forever. A son remains forever. |
| 36Ku Poig pästab teid valdale, ka tö todeks linnet valdal. | 36 If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. |
| 37Minä tedan, miše tö olet Avraaman heimokundaspäi. No tö tahtoit rikta mindai, sikš miše minun sana ei mülü teihe. | 37 I know that you are Abraham’s offspring, yet you seek to kill me, because my word finds no place in you. |
| 38Minä pagižen, midä olen nähnu minun Tatal — a tö teget muga, midä olet nähnuded ičetoi tatal.» | 38 I say the things which I have seen with my Father; and you also do the things which you have seen with your father.” |
| 39Hö sanuiba Iisusale: «Meiden tat om Avraam.» Iisus sanui: «Ku tö oližit Avraaman lapsed, ka tegižit Avraaman tegoid. | 39They answered him, “Our father is Abraham.” Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham. |
| 40A nügüd' tö tahtoit rikta mindai — mehen, kudamb sanui teile tot, mittušt Jumalaspäi kuli. Avraam mugošt ei tegend. | 40 But now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham didn’t do this. |
| 41Tö teget muga, kut teiden tat.»Hö sanuiba hänele: «Mö em olgoi vedeluznaižen lapsed. Meil om üks' tat, Jumal.» | 41 You do the works of your father.” They said to him, “We were not born of sexual immorality. We have one Father, God.” |
| 42Iisus sanui heile: «Ku Jumal oliži teiden tat, tö armastaižit mindai, sikš ku minä olen lähtnu Jumalaspäi i tulnu tänna. Minä en tulend ičein valdal, no hän om mindai oigendanu. | 42Therefore Jesus said to them, “If God were your father, you would love me, for I came out and have come from God. For I haven’t come of myself, but he sent me. |
| 43Mikš tö et el'gekoi minun paginad? Sikš miše et voigoi kulda, midä minä sanun. | 43 Why don’t you understand my speech? Because you can’t hear my word. |
| 44Teiden tat om lemboi, i tö tahtoit tehta muga, kut hän himoičeb. Ezmässai hän om olnu ristituiden surmitajan, hän ei püžund todes, sikš miše ei ole hänes tot. Konz hän kelastab, hän pagižeb ičeze kelel, sikš ku hän om kelastai i kelastusen tat. | 44 You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and the father of lies. |
| 45No minä pagižen tot, i sen täht tö et uskkoi minei. | 45 But because I tell the truth, you don’t believe me. |
| 46Ken teišpäi voib ozutada, miše minä olen tehnu grähkän? I ku pagižen tot, mikš et uskkoi minei? | 46 Which of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me? |
| 47Ken om Jumalaspäi, se kuleb, midä Jumal pagižeb. Tö et kulgoi, sikš ku et olgoi Jumalaspäi.» | 47 He who is of God hears the words of God. For this cause you don’t hear, because you are not of God.” |
| 48Evrejalaižed sanuiba Iisusale: «Em-ik mö pagiškoi tot, miše sinä oled samarialaine i sinus om paha heng?» | 48Then the Jews answered him, “Don’t we say well that you are a Samaritan, and have a demon?” |
| 49Iisus sanui: «Minus ei ole pahad henged. Minä arvostan ičein Tatad, a tö huigenzoitat mindai. | 49Jesus answered, “I don’t have a demon, but I honor my Father and you dishonor me. |
| 50Minä en eci kitust ičelein, no om se, ken ecib i sudib. | 50 But I don’t seek my own glory. There is one who seeks and judges. |
| 51Todest tozi sanun teile: ken eläb minun sanoiden mödhe, hän igäs ei kole.» | 51 Most certainly, I tell you, if a person keeps my word, he will never see death.” |
| 52Evrejalaižed sanuiba hänele: «Nügüd' meile om sel'ged: sinus om paha heng. Avraam om kolnu, mugažo Jumalan sanankandajad, no sinä sanud: ‘Ken eläb minun sanoiden mödhe, hän igäs ei kole.’ | 52Then the Jews said to him, “Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham died, as did the prophets; and you say, ‘If a man keeps my word, he will never taste of death.’ |
| 53Oled-ik sinä suremb meiden tatad Avraamad? Hän om kolnu, i mugažo oma kolnuded Jumalan sanankandajad. Keneks sinä luged ičtaiž?» | 53Are you greater than our father, Abraham, who died? The prophets died. Who do you make yourself out to be?” |
| 54Iisus sanui vastha: «Ku minä iče korgenzoitan ičein arvod, ka nece korgenzoituz ei maksa nimidä. Minun arvod korgenzoitab minun Tat, kudamban tö kucut ičetoi Jumalaks. | 54Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say that he is our God. |
| 55Tö et tuntkoi händast, no minä tunden händast. Ku sanuižin, miše en tunde, ka oližin kelastai, muga kut tö. No minä tunden händast i elän hänen sanoiden mödhe. | 55 You have not known him, but I know him. If I said, ‘I don’t know him,’ I would be like you, a liar. But I know him and keep his word. |
| 56Teiden tat Avraam lujas ihastui sihe, miše nägištab minun päivän. I hän nägišti sen i ihastui.» | 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day. He saw it, and was glad.” |
| 57Evrejalaižed sanuiba hänele: «Sinei ei ole völ vitkümned vot, i sinä oled nähnu Avraaman!» | 57The Jews therefore said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old! Have you seen Abraham?” |
| 58Iisus sanui: «Todest tozi sanun teile: jo edel ku Avraam sündui, minä olin.» | 58Jesus said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, before Abraham came into existence, I AM. |
| 59Siloi hö otiba kivid, miše tacta hänehe, no Iisus peitihe heišpäi i läksi pühäkodišpäi. Hän mäni heiden kogos läbi i astui edeleze. | 59Therefore they took up stones to throw at him, but Jesus was hidden, and went out of the temple, having gone through the middle of them, and so passed by. |
