Chapter 24

Nedalin ezmäižel päiväl, ani aigoiš homendesel, naižed otiba kerdale čomahajuižid voiškid, kudambid hö oliba tehnuded, i mäniba kaumale. Heidenke ühtes tuli erasid toižid-ki.1But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they and some others came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared.
Hö homaičiba, miše kivi oli heittud kal'l'kauman reiguspäi,2They found the stone rolled away from the tomb.
i konz hö mäniba kauman südäimehe, ka ei löudnugoi Ižandan Iisusan hibjad.3They entered in, and didn’t find the Lord Jesus’ body.
Konz hö čududelihe sidä, ühtnägoi heiden edes ozutihe kaks' mest hoštabad sobad päl.4While they were greatly perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling clothing.
Naižed pöl'gästuiba i kacuškanziba maha. No mehed sanuiba heile: «Mikš ecit eläbad kollijoiden keskes?5Becoming terrified, they bowed their faces down to the earth. They said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?
Händast ei ole tägä, hän om eläbzunu. Muštat-ik tö, midä hän pagiži teile, konz völ oli Galilejas?6He isn’t here, but is risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee,
Hän sanui: ‘Muga tarbiž tehtas, miše Mehen Poig anttas grähkhižiden käzihe i nagloitas ristha, a koumandel päiväl hän eläbzub’.»7saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and the third day rise again?”
Siloi heile johtuiba mel'he nene Iisusan sanad.8They remembered his words,
Pörttes kaumalpäi naižed sanuiba kaiken necen polhe ühteletoštkümnele openikale i kaikile toižile.9returned from the tomb, and told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest.
Nene naižed oliba Magdalan Maria, Joanna, Jakovan mam Maria. Heiden keskes oli toižid-ki. Hö sanuiba kaiken apostoloile,10Now they were Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Mary the mother of James. The other women with them told these things to the apostles.
no apostolad meletiba, miše nene heiden sanad oma tühjad, i ei usknugoi naižile.11These words seemed to them to be nonsense, and they didn’t believe them.
Petr läksi joksten kaumale. Kumartes kal'l'kauman südäimehe hän nägišti vaiše sideged, kudambihe Iisus oli olnu kärdüd. Hän läksi sigäpäi čududelden meles sihe, midä oli tehnus.
But Peter got up and ran to the tomb. Stooping and looking in, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves, and he departed to his home, wondering what had happened.
Necil-žo päiväl kaks' openikoišpäi astuiba külähä, kudamban nimi oli Emmaus, kunasai oli kuz'kümne stadijad Jerusalimaspäi.13Behold, two of them were going that very day to a village named Emmaus, which was sixty stadia from Jerusalem.
Hö pagižiba kesknezoi kaikes, midä oli tehnus.14They talked with each other about all of these things which had happened.
Konz hö pagižiba i küzeliba kesknezoi, Iisus iče läheni heihe i läksi heidenke.15While they talked and questioned together, Jesus himself came near, and went with them.
No heiden sil'mäd oliba kuti sogenuded, hö ei tundištanugoi händast.16But their eyes were kept from recognizing him.
Iisus küzui heil: «Miš tö pagižet? Mikš tö olet pahoiš meliš?»17He said to them, “What are you talking about as you walk, and are sad?”
Toine heišpäi, kudamban nimi oli Kleopa, sanui: «Sinä-k oled Jerusalimas üksjaine kaikiš sinna tulnuzišpäi, ken ei teda, midä sigä om nenil päivil tehnus?»18One of them, named Cleopas, answered him, “Are you the only stranger in Jerusalem who doesn’t know the things which have happened there in these days?”
«A mi om tehnus?» — Iisus küzui. Hö sanuiba: «Ka se, mi om tehnus Iisusale Nazaretaspäi. Nece mez' oli Jumalan sanankandai, vägev sanoiš i tegoiš Jumalan i kaiken rahvahan edes.19He said to them, “What things?” They said to him, “The things concerning Jesus, the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people;
Meiden ülembaižed papid i valdanpidäjad andoiba sudida händast surmale i nagloita händast ristha.20and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him.
No mö panim ičemoi nadejad sihe, miše hän oli se, kudamb andab valdan Izrail'ale. I nece völ ei ole kaik. Tämbei om jo koumanz' päiv, konz kaik nece tegihe,21But we were hoping that it was he who would redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened.
a nügüd' erased naižed meiden sebraspäi sanuiba meile čudon. Aigoiš homendesel hö kävuiba kaumale,22Also, certain women of our company amazed us, having arrived early at the tomb;
no ei löudnugoi hänen hibjad. Konz hö pördihe, ka sanuiba: heile ozutihe angelad i sanuiba, miše Iisus om eläb.23and when they didn’t find his body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.
Erased meišpäi mäniba kaumale i löuziba sigä kaiken muga, kut naižed oliba sanunuded. Iisusad hö ei nähnugoi.»24Some of us went to the tomb, and found it just like the women had said, but they didn’t see him.”
Siloi Iisus sanui heile: «Voi teid meletomid i el'getomid! Kut hilläs tö uskot kaikehe sihe, midä Jumalan sanankandajad oma pagižnuded!25He said to them, “Foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!
Ei-ik muga Messiale pidi-ki mokitas i tulda ičeze hoštoteshe?»26 Didn’t the Christ have to suffer these things and to enter into his glory?”
I zavodides Moisejan i kaikiden Jumalan sanankandajiden kirjutusišpäi, hän sel'genzoiti heile, midä kaikiš Pühiš Kirjutusiš oli sanutud hänen polhe.27Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
Konz hö oliba jo läz küläd, kuna astuiba, Iisus kuti ozuteli heile, miše tahtoib mända edemba,28They came near to the village where they were going, and he acted like he would go further.
no hö seižutiba händast i sanuiba: «Jä meidenke. Zavodib jo ehttuda.» Ninga hän mäni heidenke pert'he i jäi sinna.29They urged him, saying, “Stay with us, for it is almost evening, and the day is almost over.” He went in to stay with them.
Konz hän oli heidenke sömäs, hän oti leibän, kiti Jumalad, lohkaiži leibän i andoi sen heile.30When he had sat down at the table with them, he took the bread and gave thanks. Breaking it, he gave it to them.
Siloi heiden sil'mäd avaižihe, i hö tundištiba händast. No necen aigan hän jo kadoi heiden sil'mišpäi.31Their eyes were opened and they recognized him, then he vanished out of their sight.
Hö sanuiba toine toižele: «Kut ei hüpähtanugoi meiden südäimed rindhišpäi, konz hän tel pagiži meidenke i openzi meid, kut el'geta Pühid Kirjutusid!»32They said to one another, “Weren’t our hearts burning within us, while he spoke to us along the way, and while he opened the Scriptures to us?”
Sid'-žo hö libuiba stolan tagapäi, läksiba matkha i pördihe Jerusalimha. Sigä oliba nene üks'toštkümne apostolad i toižed, ked oliba heiden sebraspäi,33They rose up that very hour, returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and those who were with them,
i hö sanuiba: «Ižand todeks om eläbzunu! Hän ozutihe Simonale.»34saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!”
Sid' nene kaks' openikad mugažo starinoičiba, midä tel oli tehnus i kut hö oliba tundištanuded Iisusan, konz hän lohkaiži leibän.
They related the things that happened along the way, and how he was recognized by them in the breaking of the bread.
Konz hö völ pagižiba necen polhe, Iisus iče seižutihe heiden keskhe i sanui: «Tervhen elät!»36As they said these things, Jesus himself stood among them, and said to them, “Peace be to you.”
Hö varaidusiš i pöl'gästusiš meletiba, miše heile ozutihe kollii.37But they were terrified and filled with fear, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
No Iisus sanui heile: «Mikš tö olet muga pöl'gästunuded? Mikš mugoižed meletused tuleba teiden südäimihe?38He said to them, “Why are you troubled? Why do doubts arise in your hearts?
Kackat minun käzihe i minun jaugoihe; minä nece olen. Kosketagat mindai, kackat iče. Kollijaspäi lähtnudel hengel ei voi olda lihad i luid, a minai, kut tö näget, om.»39 See my hands and my feet, that it is truly me. Touch me and see, for a spirit doesn’t have flesh and bones, as you see that I have.”
Muga sanudes hän ozuti heile ičeze käded i jaugad.40When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.
No konz hö ihastusiš ei voinugoi völ uskta, vaiše čududelihe, Iisus küzui: «Om-ik teil tägä mittušt-ni sömäd?»41While they still didn’t believe for joy, and wondered, he said to them, “Do you have anything here to eat?”
Hö andoiba hänele palaižen pašttud kalad i met.42They gave him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb.
Hän oti i söi ned heiden edes.43He took them, and ate in front of them.
Iisus sanui heile: «Necen polhe minä pagižin oldes teiden keskes. Kaikele necile pidi tehtas, min polhe Moisejan käskištos, Jumalan sanankandajiden kirjoiš i psalmoiš om minun polhe kirjutadud.»44He said to them, “This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled.”
Siloi hän avaiži heiden meled, miše hö voiba el'geta Pühid Kirjutusid.45Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures.
Hän sanui heile: «Muga om kirjutadud: Messiale pidi mokitas i koumandel päiväl eläbzuda kollijoišpäi.46He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,
Kaikile rahvahile Jerusalimaspäi zavodides tarbiž hänen nimes sanelda: Käraukatoiš grähkišpäi, i muga hän pästab teiden grähkäd.47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Tö olet necen todištajad.48 You are witnesses of these things.
Minä oigendan teile sidä, midä minun Tatain om toivotanu. Olgat Jerusalim-lidnas sihesai, kuni teile anttas väged taivhaspäi.»
Behold, I send out the promise of my Father on you. But wait in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high.”
Iisus vei openikoid lidnaspäi lähele Vifaniad, lendi käded i blahoslovi heid.50He led them out as far as Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
I blahoslovides hän zavodi erigata heišpäi, i händast ottihe ülähäks taivhaze.51While he blessed them, he withdrew from them, and was carried up into heaven.
Openikad kumarzihe hänele mahasai i ihastusiš i hüviš meliš pördihe Jerusalimha.52They worshiped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,
Hö oliba kaiken aigan pühäkodiš, ülenzoitiba i kitiba Jumalad. Amin'.53and were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
